Diana was a very accommodating host. When booking initially our party was larger and would include children and Diana prepared the house to be child friendly and even had toys in the bathroom for the young kids. The accommodation had everything we needed including bread, fruit and milk/coffee. The place is large and is so close to town we could walk everywhere.

Marsha’s place, Lakeside, is ideal for a large group with 5 bedrooms, 3 living areas and 2 dining areas (including an undercover outdoor area) across two levels. It is just across the road from the Lake and a 10-15 minute stroll along the Lake into town. Marsha is a very responsive host and offers an earlier check-in compared to other places so we had more time to settle in and discover the surroundings on day 1. We all (including our dog) had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and have already booked to return later in the year!

What an enchanting experience! Exactly as the photos described, serene and secluded. Yurt was amazing, super cool on the hot days, then we had a couple of nights with rain which was wonderful and cozy inside. Everything you needed there - we stayed for 4 nights so my only suggestion would be if staying for more than a couple bring an esky, but we were happy to even have one. Shower was a huge highlight, along with the bath. Sharon was accommodating and warm. There are a lot of dirt roads around and access to the yurt is up quite a hill so I was glad we had gotten a 4WD. Heaps of wildlife - we saw cows, sheep, horses and even a few wombats!! We absolutely loved our stay and will always remember how magical it was.

Ganga is a great, friendly and supportive host. He was very flexible and accommodating to our ad-hoc requests. His house is very well maintained and faces a reserve from where you can enjoy viewing Kangaroos :) Highly recommended place to stay and I'll rebook it when I get an opportunity to visit.

This location could not be better, but inside you feel completely separate from the busy street outside. It was a perfect respite from the heat and felt like a complete oasis during our fabulous stay in fitzroy with beautiful linens and very comfortable bed. Incredibly responsive host as well!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Bruce's house. The space was great for two families, very modern, well laid out, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the views from the seating area on the deck. Short walk to town. Bruce was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our messages. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great stay. The location is walking distance into town. The place was really cozy with great views. We can’t believe we needed to use the fireplace in Feb! But it kept us warm over a very cold weekend.

Stayed with Chas over the Australia Day weekend. Lovely little cottage, gorgeous views, walking distance to Whitfield and 5 min to a swimming hole at Gentle Annie. An added bonus were breakfast provisions and a coffee machine. The best part was the hammock - watching the sunset and then stargazing over a glass of complimentary Prosecco (a lovely touch). Appreciate all the local intel on wineries and attractions. Will definitely stay with Chas again!
