Great stay in a beautiful location with a nice walk along the coastline to the city. Conveniently close to a large grocery store. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable, and the pellet fire added a cozy touch to the Christmas holidays. 5/5 stars

L’appartamento di Savoula si trova in pieno centro, e grazie alle indicazioni precise dell’host è stato semplice trovarlo. La cucina è ben equipaggiata, con dell’olio, sale e zucchero a disposizione (sempre ben accetti). La camera da letto ampia e il bagno funzionale. Il grande più la terrazza col divano e il tavolo, e il locale lavanderia a disposizione. Sono stata davvero bene e consiglio questo appartamento senza dubbio.

Wir waren für eine Woche mit 5 Personen in der Villa. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Badezimmer sind besonders schön. Leider war der Pool recht kalt, was aber unserer Reisezeit Mitte Oktober zu schulden ist. Ansonsten hätten wir ihn mehr genutzt. Netter Kontakt zum Eigentümer und ein gefüllter Kühlschrank fürs Frühstück. Darüber haben wir uns besonders gefreut. Wir würden die Unterkunft immer weiter empfehlen.

It was easy to communicate with the owner. He replied very soon. We asked and got recommendations of nice restaurants. The house was very nice and easy to find anything we were looking for. It is perfect with and without children as well. :-) The sea was probably not like the fancy ones but it was always warmer than the others. :-D

Giannis place is just perfect for a family wishing to stay right in the centre of old town Chania. The location just can’t be beat and the house is just fantastic and very well accommodated with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family with kids. I highly recommend Yiannis place.

This AirBNB is an absolute gem in every way and fantastic value for money. Great location in Neo Chora, a beautiful walk to the Venetian Lighthouse, with many good restaurants nearby. Quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean and with everything you need. I really appreciated the little touches that Eva provided- some delicious croissants and local wine, all the cosmetics you might need, local guides and taxi nos. Eva was a super responsive and helpful host, always on the phone for anything I needed. I visited Chania as a solo woman traveller, and had a lovely stay. Eva really helped with that, and I hope to return.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday at these beachfront apartments! The location is perfect, right on the beach, surrounded by beautiful palm trees, making it feel like a tropical paradise. The apartment was spotless and came with a lovely terrace offering stunning views of the sea—perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. They also own a fantastic beach bar/restaurant where we enjoyed delicious cocktails and food. A special thank you to Manuals who made our stay extra special with his outstanding service. The apartments are also just a 5-minute walk from Georgioupoli, where you’ll find a wide variety of restaurants and bars to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience!

Me and my friends had the best time The villa was spacious, super clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the garden was lovely and the pool was perfect. The location is not very central and it worked great for us - it was quiet and we had the sense of privacy, yet it was a walking distance from really great restaurants, some beaches, supermarkets and local shops We even discovered a bus stop right outside the villa - It took us about 30 min to get to Chania city center on one direction, and about 15 min to get to Kolymbari on the other direction The hosts were really friendly and informative, responded right away to every question we had and gave us some good recommendations One small issue we had - sometimes the hot water would run out for the last people who took showers (we were 8 people) But all in all a it was a great accommodation and we had a wonderful time staying there

I was traveling solo, and this place felt very comfortable. The beach right in front of the property was nice. Everything was clean and there was plenty space. What really stood out was the restaurant by the pool with its tranquil atmosphere and great flavors.

The location is calm and private, the villa is very well situated (no vis-a-vis) and secured. It is ideal for families with little kids as the territory is closed and it’s easy to supervise your kid while chilling near the pool or on a balcony. Everything was perfect, all the amenities were well prepared, the kitchen is equipped literally with everything. The host took care about all the details, even, salt, sugar, coffee capsules and freshly made beds for our arrival, so we didn’t think about anything but rest and having fun! and a bottle of wine as little surprise from the host:)

Unser Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern ( fünf Jahre und drei Jahre) war perfekt! Das Haus ist wunderschön der Außenbereich riesig der Pool einfach nur traumhaft und vor allem der Ausblick ist unbeschreiblich schön. Es gab jeden Tag etwas Neues zu entdecken, in der Umgebung, alles super mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir bekamen regelmäßig die Wäsche gewechselt und für die Kinder sogar kleine Geschenke gebracht. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub für uns Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit bei euch!!

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Alexandra’s place finished off our holiday perfectly. It was better than the photos, with everything you needed. Cristina was great, very friendly and helpful, happy to welcome her to Australia if she comes for a holiday. There are quite a few restaurants around and it is only a short drive into Chania Old town (depending on traffic). The location was great as you could book tours or hire a boat. From this location we went to Balos, winery, olive oil tour and got to know the area. Would definitely stay again or recommend friends to stay. Thanks for making Crete so memorable.

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!

Fantastic villa, we stayed with 14 guests and loved every minute of it. The hosts were extremely helpful, looking forward to going back here sometime in the future.

Auch wenn wir die Vermieter nicht persönlich getroffen haben, hat alles auf der klaren Anweisungen gut funktioniert. Bei der Anreise muss man das erste Mal schon genau schauen wie man die Anlage findet. Eine bessere Ausschilderung würde helfen. Apartment und Anlage Tip Top. Einziges Manko bei unserem Aufenthalt war die allabendliche Beschallung in Festivallautstärke der in ca. einem Kilometer entfernten Hotels. Bis ca. 23 Uhr musste man die Musik schon mögen, um auf der schönen Terrasse zu sitzen. Glücklicherweise schließen die Fenster und Terrassentüren aber schalldicht ab. Dennoch ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Es war alles einfach einwandfrei. Man kriegt genau das, was versprochen wird und Evi ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, von höflich sowie nett ganz zu schweigen. Sie antwortet sehr schnell und bietet tolle Wegbeschreibungen und Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft war sauber und bietet alles, was man benötigt. Der Ausblick vom Garten mit Grill und Hängematte ist fabelhaft, mit dem Meer in Sichtweite und ruhigerer Berglandschaft ringsum. Das Innendesign ist angenehm fürs Auge und mit Sorgfalt zusammengestellt. Zudem sind auch die Betten in den klimatisierten Schlafzimmer überaus bequem, die ausgefallene Dusche ist einfach nur cool und sie bietet einem sogar einen Sonnenschutz fürs Auto. Man kann sie nur herzlichst weiterempfehlen.

We were a group of four adults. The host was amazing, the rooms were very clean. The host left lots of goodies and always available for all of our inquiries. Eli ‘s recommendations for tours and activities was very helpful. We all highly recommend Casa Del Mare for your next trip to Chania Greece.

The perfect house, in an amazing location. Fani was lovely, and there to welcome us even though we arrived very late, close to midnight, due to flight delays. The house is very well equipped with everything one could need, not to mention beautiful and very well-appointed. And did I mention the location? Incredible - garden gate literally opens on to the beach. Ideal for midnight swims under stars. The garden itself is lovely, spacious, green, with mature tamarisk trees (one hung with a hammock that is the perfect place to dose off to the sound of the waves), plus a wonderful barbecue. Kolymbari is a lovely village, not too over-developed, but with plenty of delightful tavernas and bars and cafes, a marvellous gift and trinket shop, boat hire, and the beautiful monastery of Panagia Odigitria. Our party (of 6) agreed this is probably the most perfect place we’ve ever stayed.

Wow - einfach nur wow! Extra-Klasse sehr gut. Alles entspricht genauso wie auf den Bildern. Mega schön, toller Blick, schöner Pool, der gesamte Außenbereich ist klasse. Innen alles gut durchdacht, tolles Design (und - auch wichtig - super Betten). Einfach perfekt! Das allerbeste ist aber die Kommunikation. Schon vor dem Eintreffen, dann ein mega-schöner Empfang, mit ganz viel Leckereien (da bräuchte man nicht sofort einkaufen). Die Herzlichkeit und das Engagement von Marianna habe ich so noch nicht erlebt. Ich fühlte mich sofort wohl. Es war wie „nach Hause“ kommen. Auch während der Urlaubstage: sie hat immer mal nachgefragt, ob alles passt. Fühlte mich sehr gut aufgehoben. Super tolle Tipps bekommen. Geniale Restaurants oder auch andere Locations - bis hin zu Ausflugszielen (die nicht so touristisch sind). Das Umfeld ist total ruhig, nur Vogelgezwitscher. Und am Abend den Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse, mit dem wunderschönen Blick, ist das Beste. Einfach Genial!

Just as described - right on the beach . Excellent facilities, very well-equipped. Lovely touches such as fruit and cake on arrival and fresh breakfast pastries on our last day. Best place we stayed in Crete. Highly recommended.

Wir durften 6 Tage in der wunderschönen Villa verbringen. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Es ist alles top gepflegt und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Uns hat die Ruhe und die etwas abgeschiedene Lage sehr gut gefallen, von dort aus kann man ideal den Westen der Insel zu erkunden, man sollte aber ein Auto zur Verfügung haben. Katerina ist die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen und mit allerlei hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir von ihr Tipps zum Einkaufen und Restaurantempfehlungen. Bemerkenswert empfand ich, dass nach 3 Tagen die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt wurden, das ist in Ferienhäusern normalerweise nicht üblich. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben. Wir werden die Zeit in bester Erinnerung behalten und bedanken uns nochmals ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft.

Giannas Unterkunft hatten wir kurzfristig gebucht und waren sehr glücklich mit der Entscheidung. Sie hatte schnell reagiert und der Check-in war flexibel. Das schnuckelige Häuschen ist von einem prachvoll blühenden Garten umgeben. Strandstühle und Strandmatten inklusive. Sogar Sandelzeug für unsere kleine Tochter war vorhanden. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Strände sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für alles.
