This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. je ne sais pas par où commencer tant l'expérience à été belle à vivre ! tous les commentaires positifs lus précédemment sont exacts c'est une maison incroyable dans un environnement si paisible Luis nous a fait découvrir plein de coins merveilleux . Raquel et sa sœur nous ont fait de très bon repas et la maison est super bien entretenue . franchement n'hésitez pas à réserver à finca manglar , vous ne le regretterez pas De bons souvenirs garantis Merci Lia de proposer ce genre d'endroit à louer et un grand merci à Luis et sa famille d'être des personnes si sympathiques et avenantes . plutôt que de louer chez des grosses compagnies avec 40 personnes pour un guide , ici vous avez votre guide Luis disponible rien que pour vous et d'une extrême gentillesse pour info , cascade superbe , bateau dans la mangrove ( caïmans, serpents , singes, toucans , perroquets etc....) et plage privé en bateau ( magnifique plage ) cherchez pas , venez ....

Una casa perfecta para viajar con niños, ya que su piscina es perfecta para que se bañen cuando la marea esta baja en la playa(rocas). Lugar idílico rodeado de monos y en frente de playa pan dulce perfecta ola para surfear con tu longboard. Mas que recomendable!volveremos!

Casa Rio Sierpe exceeded our expectations. The property was in amazing shape for a being so remotely located. The house was very nice with luxury finishes and expertly maintained. It provides an amazing adventurous experience that is still very luxury. The staff especially was spectacular and welcoming. You should book dinners with Dolly every night and definitely take advantage of the mangrove tour and night hike. We would recommend this house to anyone and look forward to returning.

Saballo Lodge is an incredible place, set in beautiful surroundings in the jungle with a river plunge swimming pool, where birds and lizards chill on the rocks next to you, it's own jetty and free boats for kayaking on the river Sierpe, hammock hut and lovely cabins. Fireflies light up the grounds at dusk as you walk to the on site restaurant for dinner. We stayed with a toddler and after a month in CR, this was by far the most beautiful place we stayed. Breakfast is provided and Angelica and Henri were massive helpful with getting tours booked up and sorting everything out, despite our halting Spanish. We went on a mangrove tour, saw crocs, squirrel monkeys and more birds than were in the guidebook. We also went on night tours and saw an Oncilla, Opposum and frogs, as well as crocs on the way to the waterfall. We went canoeing in the river with our daughter and saw monkeys up close. Whilst theres no aircon in the lodges, we didnt need it and were fine with just the fans.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Punta Preciosa. The location is beautiful and private. The beach was virtually deserted most of the time. The swimming was fantastic and it was also nice to walk along the sandy beach early in the morning and watch the Scarlet Macaws and other birds. Pascal was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my inquiries and often responded within the hour. He has created a very helpful digital welcome book which you receive access to after booking. He helped arranged excellent tours for us, all of which I would recommend - kayak tour of the mangrove, boat And snorkelling tour of the Gulf, a night walk and a trip to Corcovado. The house is very nice and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The gas stove and oven took some figuring out but worked well. There is no microwave or dishwasher. The main floor is open to the air so there were some insects at night but using the fan and insect repellent helped. We would love to go back again.
