Meadow's place is great value. The location is further out of Pavones and would be annoying if you didn't have a car, but we did so we didn't mind. Easy drive to several surf spots. The bedroom area looks exactly like the photos. Small, but suits your needs just fine! The kitchen area is really quite lovely. Some of the items in the kitchen (pans, etc.) are in need of replacement, but if you don't cook much while you're on vacation, then you won't mind! It was a treat to be able to do a load of laundry, since we were away from home for a while. The grounds are kept beautifully by their caretaker Abner. He's very helpful if you need anything. We ran out of propane for the kitchen stove, and he had a new tank within about an hour. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay at Corcovado Private Villas was beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by a friendly staff member who made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, comfortable, and nestled in the heart of the lush jungle, teeming with wildlife. We even got to pick fresh pineapples right from the property! One of the highlights was the breathtaking pool at the top of the mountain, offering panoramic views of both the sea and the mountains—truly a paradise. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan diets and were genuinely excited to meet our dogs, which made the whole experience feel even more special. We had the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, with several day trips to beautiful local beaches and the opportunity to cook delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such an unforgettable getaway.

I stayed about a week at Anna's place and had a great time. It's located right on a tributary to the Sierpe river, with a private dock, and the wildlife viewing was amazing. I saw white-faced monkeys in a tree right outside the window, iguanas, and many interesting birds. The entire upper flat is included, and it's very light and pleasant. It took me a little while to figure out the front door, and the wifi on the website was not accurate, but Anna helped me sort those out very quickly. Also, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The refrigerator and freezer were not as cold as normal, but it was adequate for me. I would definitely stay there again.

We rented for us and our Friends both houses. The area is very calm but every beach and supermarkets are easy too reach. The pool is nice and the outside area are well equipped even with a lovely barbecue area. The houses have aircondition but we slept very well even wirhout it. The neighbour is Rebecca and we made chocolate with her. As an extra Carolina left some nice Costa Rica coffee! We recommend very much to stay there.

Katia & Peter built a fantastic house in the middle of the nature. They are extremely friendly and open for an exchange. Directly after entering the house we felt relaxed and comfortable. During our stay the opportunity to see some animals like toucans, birds, monkey raised our tranquility and experience. Additionally, we had a little garden tour and saw a huge variety of vegetables, fruits, plants etc. Fortunate, we could even taste some of them. Delicious! The huge balcony invites you to spend the time. The kitchen is well equipped. The house has mosquito protection on the windows as well as the balcony door. The beaches are near to reach with the car. We are happy to meet you and wish you all the best with your projects and following guests.

Richie was super helpful both before and during our stay / the pool and restaurant areas are gorgeous - with beautiful birds at late afternoon - Richie had an AC unit installed in our bedroom prior to arrival which was greatly appreciated coming from Michigan - would recommend having a car as the area is quite hilly and will want one to get to local areas. We stayed in villa 10 and it had everything we needed and was very private. There is an onsite hiking trail and yoga also available. Nature and bird lovers paradise

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings and a short walk to the beach (1 min). Cara is a fabulous host. Very proactive, welcoming, readily available and responsive. We had a lovely stay and sad to leave! Thank you Cara!

This is an amazing Air BnB. Luxurious and extremely spacious accommodation set in a veritable Garden of Eden. This is a very private location with spectacular views. Both the wildlife and bird life are spectacular. Access to the property is quite demanding. You definitely need a 4x4 and you definitely want to make use of the in-house catering. Ivan is a very good and a very flexible chef. Most of our party are vegetarian and teetotal. Ivan, supported by Marjorie, provided an excellent range of meals throughout the week and an inventive selection of fruit juices to drink.

This house is truly unique and absolutely beautiful. It is secluded, safe and private with fantastic views up into the trees all around. We heard and saw many beautiful birds including a pair of red macaws who visited everyday. Also humming birds, toucans, vultures, spider monkeys every day, coatis, lesser anteater, poison dart frogs, lizards and heard howler monkeys and got a brief glimpse of one in the distance. They can sound quite scary but they are not threatening at all. A key feature (see photos) is that there are no windows or doors in this place so be prepared for nature to have full access! There is also a nice lookout platform with a wonderful view of the sea- it is also a bit cooler up there in the wood. Carlos is a fantastic host, very inspiring and generous with his time. He will tell you with enormous enthusiasm about nature all around. A lady comes to clean most days and also gave wonderful massages. We all had a truly fantastic stay! Don't miss it- highly recommend

The villa is in an incredible location with monkeys and macaws all day, everyday. incredible views and great privacy. Very responsive with any issues and Edwin was close but never there unless called. the beach road does require a tallish 4x4 but it keeps everyone away and the property private. also, it is difficult to find at night so advise making sure you arrive the first time in daylight. it is not glamping, but it's also not the four seasons. if you want quiet, monkeys, the ocean crashing waves 24 hours a day, macaws, and the forest go and don't wait. the main house does have hot water, but the others it's cool, which felt good after a day spent catching 20 plus roosterfish. well worth the money as one of the most unique days we have ever experienced.

Casa de blue on Mount Matapalo is a true Dream. A magical paradise by the ocean... The whole complex is multi-level and very stylish. Blends in with the surrounding nature. Sliding walls in the bedroom are an ingenious solution. In just a few moments, they can be removed and you can watch the nature. We really enjoyed the early morning sunrise on the bedroom terrace and the cooling pool. The terrace has comfortable sofas and hammocks. And this view...nature talks to You through the roar of the ocean waves..the wind..the sun...time stops..It's a real pleasure and slowing down! The owners of the place, Paula and Julian, are wonderful people! Meeting them touched our hearts. We also got a yoga mat from Paula to use. The housekeeper Luis and his lovely wife Yazmin were very caring and helpful in everything. Casa de blue was the best choice we could make. Even if the road to get there is long, it's worth it all and more❤️

Estuve en Villa Coccon y fue una maravilla. La casa es preciosa, con mucho diseño, súper cerca de la playa y con una piscina ideal para relajarse. Me encantó tener un wifi rapido para poder trabajar desde ahí sin moverme. Pero lo mejor: el vecindario y los afitriones tanto Cori como Noelia, que fueron súper atentos y nos ayudaron en todo. ¡Volvería sin dudar!

Such hospitality and really good vibes. If you don’t mind being at am airbnb where the hosts live and a 9 year old grandson coming to play ping pong with out, you’ll love it. Would stay here again!

CasaZenn is a gem! We were very glad to be up at CasaZenn rather than right on the beach in Zancudo. It was so peaceful to retreat to the beautiful gardens, pool, and view of the ocean after playing at the beach or exploring the area. Tom and Hollie were super responsive and helpful! We had a few hiccups during our stay, (like an unusually long power outage) and they did everything they could do make sure we had what we needed. They also connected us with horseback riding and snorkeling tours within hours of asking. Both of which were wonderful! We saw dolphins in the bay and rode horses through the forest, hilltops, and beach. The highlight of CasaZenn is the attraction of surrounding nature. The mornings are incredible. Birdsong, howler monkeys, capuchins, and BUTTERFLIES! I have never seen so many butterflies, it feels like you are in a sanctuary. We also saw toucans, green parrots, macaws, and a sloth. The poolside is lovely morning, afternoons, or under the stars. 🦋

We had a lovely stay in Pavones. The home is beautiful and was clean when we arrived. We felt safe throughout our entire stay at the property. We enjoyed being up in the jungle, away from the beach, since our family surfed during the day. Jeffrey was a very friendly groundskeeper who shared delicious fruits with us and showed us the fruit plants and trees he cares for in the jungle near the home. He was quick to repair decking and maintain the pool during our stay. It was nice to have an outdoor BBQ to grill, especially since it was so hot each night—it helped keep the house temperature down. Surprisingly, the bugs weren’t even biting, which is normally an issue for me.

Super charming place surrounded by beautiful gardens! Every morning, we had flocks of parrots plus macaws, songbirds and nearby monkeys. The main space gets hot. The fan helped...and sometimes we were grateful to retreat to the bedroom for AC. Still, we liked the combo of open-air living in the main space and cool bedroom which also served as a pleasant workspace. The kitchen has a nice frig and the basics but you have to be creative if you cook. The bedroom is spacious with tons of closet space. The linens are wonderful and a Tempur-pedic pad made the bed a perfect soft-yet-firm. There IS hot water; ask Rosa for a new gas tank - same for the stove. WiFi went out a few times, but they were quick to address things we needed and Rosa (Jenny’s mom) is a delight.  The neighborhood is quiet & secure. Airport is 1km away & quiet. Wonderful nearby beaches, a few nice restaurants and grocery. Favs: Aventura Cafe & Marisqueria. Playas: Preciosa, Juanito Mora (swimming), Backwash/Carbonera.
