Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay in Lisa's caravan. It was well equipped, clean and warm. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow. We had the best of both worlds, a beautiful view and landscape to explore plus an easy train into the city. It ticked all the boxes.

The cottage had better look, feel, space and smell (totally neutral) to it than I had expected; my kind of people lives / manages it, and clearly no disgusting people / pet had been in there! Everything about Melfort Village is great, including swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I chose the place for some quiet walking time and to get to Ben Nevis, which is 1:30 hrs away through beautiful picturesque driving paths to Fort Williams. Nobody likes long drives when you have to cut through traffic or noise and I cannot believe my luck in my choices. Not just the place but the driving paths, local towns, beaches, weather. And, of course, my day up to Ben Nevis was the clearest anyone in the area said I could have had; clear sky when I got to the top, cool, mildly sunny day... I never thought Scotland would be so warm and beautiful in the way I saw it during my week of driving around. Even our visit to Dunbar via Edinburgh was a great day with 24 Degrees Celsius and sunny beach.

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber ins sehr einladend von Mylen hergerichtet. Perfekt um nach einem langen Tag in den Highlands zu entspannen und wieder neue Kraft für den nächsten Tag zu sammeln. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. 😊

Wir haben zwei Nächte bei Lorraine verbracht und genossen die Ruhe in dem schön eingerichteten Apartment. Es ist schön ruhig gelegen zwischen Pferdeweiden und nahe zum Strand. Es lädt zu schön Spaziergängen und zum ausruhen ein.

We arrived at Dora’s with a such a warm welcome! The home was perfect for our family! It had a beautiful view 😍 close to everything and Dora’s has an eye for detail from cleanliness to the small things which I loved! We will definitely stay again on our return to Scotland

Great place to stay while in Islay! So cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean and had everything needed. Kitchen was large and we enjoyed cooking a meal while staying here. Lots of kitchen necessitates. Host was friendly and instructions were clear. We were nice and warm despite it being cold outside. Loved being close to some of the distilleries and somewhat centrally located on the island for everything else. Great spot!

We were staying here under sad circumstances but the way we were treated as guests was just perfect. Exceptionally clean house with everything you need. The Views will blow your mind and we got some beautiful weather. Helen from start to finish was just lovely. A very very lovely lady who will answer any question you have. We will definitely be back and I will shout very loudly about Helen and The Villas it's just fantastic! Thankyou Helen, see you again soon! xx

Highly recommended property. It has everything you need. Property was spotless and felt just like home. Lots of bathrooms for all to use. My family had an amazing get away. Marc was an excellent host and was very responsive with all queries.

The Black House was perfect for our weekend on Islay. It was a great home base location for exploring all of the island. The house had everything we needed and has the most amazing views. We would definitely stay here again!

1. Hundreds percent is new decoration 2.extremely clean and tidy 3.provide the every single stuff we needed. 4. Close to loch coast,very nice and chilly. 5. food shop and supermarket nearby.

We received a lovely welcome from Cath and thoroughly enjoyed our time in her beautiful home. We would have no hestitation in recommending it to family and friends.

We stayed in an apartment during our Scotland trip and it was really nice, the host send us all the required information so it was easy to find and check in into, apartment has all the necessary equipment and pretty cozy, will stay here in my next Scotland trip as well.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location was perfect, we enjoyed walking into the Harbour town which was lovely and not far to get to on foot. The place had everything we needed and we certainly enjoyed the use of the wood burner at the end of a days walking. Would certainly stay again 😊
