My family enjoyed our stay. The location was nice for our plans (some hiking at Little Grand Canyon and visiting Carbondale), beautiful view from the home, loved the hot tub (suspect pool would be awesome in summer too). Very clean, plenty of space for our group. Only change I would make is a bigger kitchen table. We will probably return!

Great place to get away for a while and close to trails and Shawnee. They accommodated a change in my travel plans and I had an enjoyable trip, despite the bad weather.

Jessica’s space was perfect for our girls weekend. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. The kitchen had everything you could need, I loved the large bathroom, the bedrooms were good sized and the beds were comfy. We took advantage of the outdoor seating each morning with our coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was great. It was clean, very comfortable, beds were comfy and Jason responded really quick to my questions.

Cute little country house perfect for a quiet getaway. Hosts were responsive and place was just as described. Fredericktown has a population less than 4,000 people but the restaurants here did not disappoint. Check out The Station at Sawyer’s Landing for coffee and breakfast (the breakfast burrito is dynamite). It’s a cool vibe and the owner, Ben, was awesome and gave us recommendations for hikes in the area. The Depot Cafe for dinner was a cute little casual place with an incredible pressed dip sandwich (get it with their pepper jack cheese for a little heat!). Also went to the Woodstack and had some great ribs. Elephant Rocks is about a 40 min drive and a little further is Johnson’s shut-ins. Both worth the trip. All in all a nice little weekend away that we’d definitely do again.

An ABSOLUTELY LOVELY area! Very secluded and the bed is super comfy! We loved the fire pit and roasted some marshmallows. The food at was great at Crazy Joes but it was outshined by the management, owners, and community. Everyone was so kind. We decided to do a photoshoot at the cabin of my girlfriends Princess Peach costume. We will be back to go fishing in the area and to explore the trails! SUPER COZY CABIN!

This was a great place. We'd like to try it again in the warmer months. We stayed during a storm and the home was very relaxing.

If you are traveling in southern illinois. Allison has hands down the best vacation propertys. Again thank you for being a Excellent host Allison
