We had a great time in Pete's house at the lake. You directly have the feeling that Pete is also using the house himself, so the house is very well equipped. Navigation leads you to a place a bit off of the actual location. But with Pete's instructions, it was no problem.

Excellent location and set up for our snowmobile trip to the Curtis area. Plenty of space for truck, trailer, sleds, gear and people. Will absolutely consider staying again next year.

The mist clearing on the lake in the morning sun reveals the changing colors of trees in the Fall Season. At night, the constellations sparkle strongly and clearly in the dark sky. And the sounds of silence increase the sense of peace and wonder. This is what you can experience whether sitting around a lakeside fire or sitting in the front room of the cottage. And making a home cooked meal is a pleasure as well...the kitchen supports good cooking and the dining room table supports warm and interesting conversations. Thanks, Leanne

The property provides convenient access to snowmobile and UTV trails, making it a perfect home base for winter explorations. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in early November. We could not have asked for a better weekend, nor a better place to stay. We took the ferry from Charlevoix and rented a car from the Burton's as well as the apartment. The car was waiting for us at the ferry dock, which was very easy to find. While we could have easily walked to the rental place, it was really nice having the car right there. Our space was ready, so we unpacked and started to explore the island. We were also able to pick up our friend at the Welke Airport via Island Airways, which is another great way to travel (quicker than the ferry with the 20-minute flight). While it was a slower time on the island, we relaxed, made dinners in our own kitchen, enjoyed a wonderful view of Lake Michigan out our front window, and spent time exploring the island. It doesn't get much better! Thank you, Carol and Dan, for offering such a great space and making it so easy for us to relax!

This cabin was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! It was quiet and in such a beautiful area - yet we were able to take day trips to scenic areas very close by.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Susan and her husband have a cozy spot on the lake. They are also very communicative and friendly! This spot is also quiet and peaceful. We love to travel during late September so the leaves were starting to change around the lake which was beautiful! We will most certainly be back!
