Our time in the houseboat was great. We didn't miss anything. The house is very modern and comfortably furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. Our children used the beautiful garden with its trampoline whenever possible. A particular highlight was the SUP board that we were allowed to use. A lot of fun in the morning to go for a lap on the canal right after breakfast. The reception and the farewell by Winnis dear neighbors made everything perfect. A great houseboat, a great environment, a great host.

Wir waren zu viert auf dem Hausboot von Jan. Das Boot liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, nah vom Olympiazentrum. Etwas außerhalb, bis ins Zentrum von Amsterdam mit der Metro ca. 20 Minuten. Das Hausboot war gemütlich und sauber, Jan hat uns am ersten Tag persönlich begrüßt und der Kontakt war sehr nett. Es stehen 4 Fahrräder zur Verfügung, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben, da die Niederländer eine zu rasante Fahrweise haben...🫣 wir hatten 4 tolle Tage in Amsterdam und am Hausboot.

A gorgeous place to stay. In a quiet neighborhood. The host was beyond accommodating to our random travel needs. The place was so nice, he was incredibly helpful and providing great recommendations. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the closest transit and about a 10 minute tram ride to most things. So plan at least 20 minutes of travel both ways for moth things- but it is inn a very easy to navigate area.

Excellent. The location was perfect and the accommodation matched the description. We recommend it.

I am thankful for Eric’s trust and hospitality, his place felt like home to us and was close to everything we needed (beautiful park, supermarkets, restaurants). Eric was a very thoughtful host and I really hope to be back:) really beautiful and joyful home, thank you Eric & family.

This houseboat is wonderful and the perfect chilled get away just outside the city centre. Hosts were great with communication and the houseboat was better than we could’ve imagined. Great location with every type of public transport right on your doorstep or if the weather permits a nice walk back into town. 100% would recommend!

Uma boa estadia, conforto, tranquilidade e uma conexão única com a natureza. Pela manhã, o sol nasce refletindo no espelho d’água, criando um espetáculo dourado que pode ser apreciado com uma xícara de café na varanda flutuante. Adorei!

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Einfach zu finden. Gastgeberin spricht zwar nur Niederländisch, hat sich aber gut vorbereitet mit einer Übersetzungapp. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man kann den Bus nach Amsterdam zu Fuß erreichen

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

If you are looking to stay on the river in a quiet neighbourhood - on a house boat - it doesn't get better than this. I loved waking up, peering out onto the water. Each morning the rowers are out, people running along the riverbank - it's incredibly peaceful yet full of life. This is a real boat, not a floating house so you have to navigate different levels inside, getting on and off the boat etc. All part of the charm. Martin is a fabulous host. Note: this is the old school airbnb of old - its Martin's home, beautifully appointed, spacious and generously kitted out - with the comfort of a 'lived in' feel. The upper deck is just delightful, full of light and windows and you can sit with your coffee and watch the river-world go by. The area is surrounded by park, but just nearby is a lovely high-street with shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and deli's. Trams will take directly into the centre of Amsterdam - everything you need - highly recommended!

This houseboat is a true magical dream paradise. It’s cozy, does not seem small at all, and has all the touches to make it feel TRULY like your home in Amsterdam… the hammock and outdoor patio, the big couch and pull-down projector screen, the fully equipped kitchen, the incredibly comfortable bed. Unlike some places that feel like soulless hotels, this is a beautiful, warm, welcoming home. I absolutely will be coming back here when I visit Amsterdam in the future.

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Wunderschönes und gemütliches Hausboot in einer traumhafte Umgebung, mit allen was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Immer gerne wieder.

We returned for a second long stay and it is still wonderful! Great location just far enough out of Centrum to be missing all the tourists but still close enough to easily get in there every day. Liz is a terrific communicator and it is super easy to get in and out. The house boat is very comfortable and well maintained. I hope to return next year!

Beautiful space, great location, friendly cats and an awesome space to enjoy. Loved the vinyl collection and they were Mijs and Casper were exceptional hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble

Looks better than the picture. Coming from NYC, my first I was a little shell shocked by how “away” the home is from the central area… really the community seems “away” from the world. Once I woke up took a walk a hopped on a tram #26, which is just around the corner, I was able to see and feel how close to everything I was. In about an 1/2 hour or so I was in the hustle and bustle of the central and just that quick I was back. The home is stunningly beautiful with beautiful views to match. Their photos don’t do it justice. I did end up ordering for Flink, something like Instacart. I needed food and it went to a neighbors home and they brought it over to me. They even put the Ben and Jerry’s in the freezer. Great city, great home and great friendly neighbors. Thank you for being connected to my 1st time in Amsterdam… it won’t be my last!!!

Not enough kind words can be said… I’ve had the pleasure of staying in Amsterdam quite a few times and this was hands down the best stay!! Nelke was quick to respond, helpful and incredibly kind as if that wasn’t enough in and of itself her space was also just so lovely. Being on a houseboat (especially one this nice) was such an experience. We’re truly grateful to have stumbled upon this gem! If you have the opportunity, highly recommend staying here.

This unique spot was perfect for enjoying the art and food of Amsterdam. 30ish minutes on public transit to basically anything and walking distance to great museums and restaurants. We also enjoyed the neighbors and their recommendations.

Exceeded every expectation, very special experience to stay on this houseboat! 10 min bike ride to just about everything we wanted to see in the city and so close to trolley as well; Kitchen was perfectly stocked to make beautiful meals on the water, better than any restaurant when you visit the many markets around the city. Boat had everything we needed and more. Hosts were very responsive, responding to questions within just minutes and so gracious, leaving detailed instructions, suggestions, and a nice welcome gift. Was surprised by how spacious the boat was - with multiple levels and room to spread out and relax without being stuck in your bedroom! Particularly loved the outdoor deck and floating dock on river side - just lovely at any time of day. Would highly recommend this…truly a highlight of our experience in Amsterdam! Don’t hesitate if it’s available when you’re visiting, you won’t be disappointed! Very unique and special.

We really enjoyed our stay at Niels place, it really is a great house, the pictures almost don’t do it justice, the use of space is so well thought out and it flows really well. We loved swimming in the Dyke each day and we even had some nice eggs from Niels chickens. We also found the neighbours to be very friendly and approachable. The house being a 20 minute walk from NDSM wharf gives you the perfect balance of a countryside break that is very close to the wealth of things to do in Amsterdam. We would definitely go again!

An unforgettable 5-star experience on a truly amazing houseboat in Amsterdam – stunning views, top-notch comfort, and pure magic. Truly one for the books! The hosts were super informative and very helpful! Book it- & indulge, it’s well- worth it.

От центрального вокзала Амстердама очень часто ходит бесплатный паром, 5 минут на пароме и 10 пешком. Очень комфортная квартира. Небольшая, компактная квартира,но в ней продумано удивительно все для удобного проживания. Хозяин всегда на связи, очень быстро отвечал на все вопросы и давал очень полезные ссылки и рекомендации. Вернемся в это место с удовольствием еще раз.
