Great escape for the weekend! My kids and I enjoyed our time playing in the snow, hot tub was awesome and the cabin was very relaxing and peaceful to be at. We had everything we needed and some. Highly recommend! :)

I really enjoyed staying in Matt’s cabin with my wife, niece, nephew, cousin, and our dog. It was a cozy place with a ton of character. The location was great for us as it is much closer to the Bay than some Tahoe spots, and the cabin is in a quiet area with great sledding nearby. Would love to return!

What a fabulous stay!!! Wade was a great host!! The place had everything you could want/need for a family getaway. Lots of games, enough glassware, salt for the walk way and driveway (we needed it!) and an amazing hot tub!! Location was great!! We spent some of our time snowboarding at Northstar which was about 20 minutes away, downtown Main Street just a few minutes down the road. Would love to come back when we visit in the future.

Our extended family stayed through the Christmas holidays. The space was perfect for our multiage group to have together and private time. The kitchen was very well set up and easy for multiple cooks to work together. Our hostess was incredibly thoughtful going extra miles to do things like get us a permit so we could cut a tree on the national forest, decorating the house beautifully, and leaving wonderful gifts for the children. The house is packed with family games and puzzles and a has hot tub. The forest setting is beautiful and quiet. I can't recommend this place more highly for family or friend groups to enjoy some time together.

We had a wonderful stay, the house was perfect for our party of 6. The kids were able to play in the snow in the back yard providing hours of entertainment. The house was close to everything we needed.

We spend our weekend here, it is a lovely place to stay, quiet and peaceful. We had a great time there. Great place to stay if you are skiing around Donner lake. Andy was also super nice, was responsive and proactively sending us everything we need to know. l Would 100% recommend and definitely visit again next time.

Wonderful place to stay close. My daughter and I had an amazing weekend, and loved that it was only a 9 minute drive from Sugar Bowl. The house has a great fully stocked kitchen. Jennifer was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent Airbnb. Highly recommend. I think this was my 6th time staying here. Keep coming back for friendly and responsive hosts, quiet surroundings, great views, clean and comfortable furnishings, proximity to lots of activities, thoughtful touches and reasonable pricing.

I've stayed at a few places and this was by far the most clean and cozy of our stays! Jane's co-host, Denise, was very responsive, kind and friendly and was there to answer any questions we had. This home is absolutely beautiful. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into the decor, theme, and comfort of the home. We felt so comfortable and cozy! There was a fire pit and grill with ample seating facing the river that ran behind the home. There was a cozy and easy to function fireplace that added the cherry on top to a comfy evening inside. A lot of little touches throughout the home that really brought everything together and gave you a cabin feel with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed my husband and son's birthday in the snow (15 mins up the road) and came home to a beautiful view and grilled outside and ate together. Honestly pictures don't do this place justice. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing experience staying here with our family! The house was the perfect size, with plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The location was ideal—we didn’t even need to leave to enjoy the snow! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making meal prep super easy. It was the best place for our family of eight to relax and feel at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable stay!

Great location, super comfortable spot! Small fenced in areas in the back and front porches which were great for our dog. The amenities available at the rec center were awesome, too. Easy to get to palisades and lovely to walk around the neighborhood. Lovely spot!

Large house with many toys for the kids - our 4 yo loved to play and sleep in the playroom. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, even plenty of spices to cook with. It was a little colder in the upstairs bedroom, but there are plenty of extra heaters you can use. The area is residential, and the drive to central Truckee was ~10 mins, to Northstar is took us ~20 mins. 7- Eleven is 5 mins walk, so are a couple of restaurants by the main road. We enjoyed our vacation- if you have a larger party with kids, this is a great place to stay!

Such a nice house in a beautiful area. The house was wonderfully decorated and furnished. The area was slightly frosted with snow, but the deep stuff was only 15 minutes away. The house was clean, well-stocked and well-kept. 5 stars all day!

This was perfect cabin for visiting Tahoe Donner. The cabin is literally 3 minutes drive to Tahoe Donner Downhill Resort, therefore despite the winter storm we were still able to reach the resort. Speaking of the storm, even though it snowed 3 feet while we were there the driveway and the adjacent streets were cleaned regularly. The cabin is not very big and not very new, but it it’s was very comfortable for our family of four. Everything was spotless, the bathrooms were clean. Towels and beddings were nice and new. The beds themselves are also very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Keep in mind is that they have Keurig coffee machine, but we brought ground coffee for a drip coffee machine. They do provide 4 Keurig pods, but they weren’t sufficient for the duration of our stay. The place is dog friendly, which is nice. The owners keep it so clean that you won’t be able to tell it’s dog friendly. Catherine was very proactive will all communications.

Really enjoyed our stay. Nothing like being in God’s country. The place had everything we needed and Trish was very responsive to any needs we had. Thank you again!

What a beautiful place to stay and Kristine was such a thoughtful host. I wish I could live somewhere this peaceful and beautiful. Really, I would go back just for the hot tub and views alone, but such a tastefully decorated house is a pretty great bonus. Loved it!

What a charming and cozy little cabin! I came here for a personal retreat in November. The cabin was built in 1917, but has been updated and has all the necessary modern conveniences including WiFi. Clio is a small town on the edge of the Feather River, so often frequented by wildlife. I saw deer, quail and wild turkeys wandering by the windows. The River is only 3 blocks away and one night I saw the most gorgeous sunset there. The neighborhood is very quiet and located near lots of great hiking. I hiked to Grass and Madora Lakes, both beautiful and still showing some fall color. The nights and mornings were chilly so I build fires in the little wood stove and it kept me very toasty! Cami and Lori welcomed me with a couple of nice 1/2 bottles of wine and a sweet card, left some chocolates in the bedroom. Nice touches. Everything was thoughtfully and simply deocrated and organized. I look forward to my next retreat!

We had a great stay in Truckee at Jenna’s cabin! Our parties comprised of 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids (ranging from 7-12) and our dog. The cabin was exactly as described and was perfect for cooking family meals, snow play in the back of the house, and quick trips to Safeway and to Tahoe Donner ski lodge for skiing. The house had an upstairs area with four beds for the kids, which allowed the kids to have their own private hangout space while the grownups could stay downstairs. Jenna was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Would be nice to have a coffee maker - we brought our own coffee but not an option. Comfortable bed, couch and warm. Very enjoyable stay. And Jan was very responsive and concise with notifications/explanations. Thank you.

We had a nice time at the cottage. The location was very convenient to skiing- less than a 15 minute drive to sugar bowl, donner, and a few other locations that we will try it the future (soda springs skiing and royal gorge cross country). We skied at sugar bowl and really liked the overall experience at that particular resort. As for the cabin, the main living space was cozy with an inviting couch and a functional kitchen. The wood stove was amazing and heated the entire place. We had some car trouble with the two snow storms but Shawn was very responsive and helped us every step of the way.

Tina’s place is perfect for a mountain getaway. The cabin is clean and spacious and in a great location. Tina was a very responsive host! Even with snow, the driveway was cleared enough to get in with no problem.
