The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. Beautifully quiet beach area with very few people. We enjoyed the hot tub and cinema screen. Tastefully decorated allowing for some much needed chill

This is a lovely cottage in a fabulous location. Easy access to both the Brecon Canal for walks towards Brecon or Crickhowell or the many paths up into the hills to enjoy the breathtaking scenery if you fancy something a little more challenging. After a good day of walking the two local pubs are both excellent with a good dinner, glass of wine or a cold beer at The Red Lion which is a short walk away. Communication and Check-In Instructions were perfectly clear. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing place! Valentina went above and beyond in responding to us when we had a issue with the rental car place being closed on our arrival to Cardiff. Perfect spot to drive into Cardiff for the day or travel up north to explore waterfalls! She was very helpful in her recommendations as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Cardiff. The Coachhouse was in a superb location between the city centre and Cardiff Bay. We visited the castle, the national museum, Cardiff Bay, Millenium Centre. There was a fabulous walk to Penarth and we ended with a tour of the Principality Stadium. We would love to come back again.

Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

Just spent the weekend at this beautiful seafront lodge, the beds were so comfortable and it was really nice to have a bathroom and shower room with two toilets, kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We are going to miss waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying our morning coffee on the verandah. The location is truly perfect and within easy walking distance of Porthcawl town and Newton village so plenty of choices to shop, eat and drink, there are many beautiful walks right on the doorstep so having a car isn't really necessary. Communication with the host Linda was always prompt, helpful and friendly, and we would definitely like to return.

The house was lovely, it had everything you could need and was very comfortable. It was in an ideal location and was perfect for our overnight trip.

I could not recommend this place more! It is exactly what it looks like in the pictures, very homely. Inside is so warm, even in the rain and wind you feel so toasty inside. The bed is comfy, lovely to have a sofa as well. The little kitchen is great too, small freezer inside the fridge which was handy. It has absolutely everything you need. The hot tub was lovely, a great perk after hiking. The views are sensational too. Couple of lovely pubs up the road as well. All in all, fantastic stay, and lovely hosts. You won’t regret booking this place!!
