5-Star Stay at Kate’s – A Hidden Gem by the Laguna Staying at Kate’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. The property was incredibly easy to find, and once we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. One of the best parts of this stay was how close we were to the Laguna—just a few steps away, making it perfect for a morning swim or a peaceful afternoon by the water. We enjoyed a fresh, delicious breakfast that made waking up even better. The WiFi was strong and reliable, which was great for staying connected when needed. But honestly, with views like this, it was hard to look at a screen for too long! Kate’s hospitality truly set this experience apart. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway, this is the place to be! Thank you for having us

Beautiful place, very friendly staff, very clean and a great breakfast to start your day. Location is a short walk to every place we wanted to check out. Would recommend.

Casa de las Aves is a gem of a space along the shores of Laguna de Apoyo. The beautiful gardens are home to birds, monkeys & a few adorable pups as well! It’s the ideal location to relax in a hammock, read a book, connect with nature & disconnect from all the that troubles you. If you are looking for a place to “get away from it all” and appreciate the beauty of Nicaragua, this is the place for you!

Incredible views, everything exceeded expectations!

We really enjoyed our stay here- the room was large and clean and the bathroom was spacious with toiletries provided. The pool was appreciated in the heat! And loved the sweet hotel cat. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. Recommend!

Awesome place to stay and was our favorite on our travels through Nicaragua. "Secret Garden" was exactly what it was, tucked away, relaxing, and beautiful. Great food, room, and very helpful hosts. Luis helped us check in and he was the kindest and most accomodating person. Would LOVE to visit again!

Excelente local y el desayuno increíble!

A wonderful place to be surrounded in the beauty of nature. Mombacho Lodge is peaceful, great host and service, and the food was amazing. We loved interacting with Nicolas and the other guests at the Lodge. The Lodge dogs were a plus too! The food was amazing, the night tour is a must, and loved the Lookout for some bird watching. Monkeys and Cicadas are your natural alarm clock. If you need a get away from the hustle, reconnect and be one with Nature, then this place is for sure the perfect place.

el Hotel tiene un mirador con vista hacia el volcán Masaya fantástica, con solo estar en el mirador y apreciar la ladera del volcán vale la pena el lugar. Éramos un grupo de 15 personas nos ubicaron en cuartos direntes tal y como lo habíamos solicitado, la piscina estaba limpia y el desayuno nos la sirvieron en el mirador. Lo recomiendo al 100% El unico detalle es que no había Shampoo en el baño, pero si suficientes toallas limpias y el lugar super limpio y buen aire acondicionado
