The house was not in town. You have to go thru the countryside to get there. It is very peaceful. They are in a nice neighborhood that is taken care of. The house was great!! It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a peaceful place to spend the weekend. We would stay there again if we were in the area. Joyce

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved having access to the canoe to explore the canals from the water. Our daughter felt the place was a kids dream with a cozy sleeping spot, fun play area and many games to keep us entertained. Just one heads up, there is no grass currently so be ready for some dirt/mud tracking in. Overall it was a great time and Lacy made it easy.

We had a great stay at Debbie's house at Glen Rose - 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is right on the Paluxy River and there is a paved walking trail accessible just outside the house. It's a very kid-friendly house and location - you can walk less than 0.5 miles to climb the rocks at Big Rocks Park, or cross the river and walk to a playground just down the path. The town square is close - but not easily walkable with kids as there is not a sidewalk, it is better for a short and easy drive. We visited Dinosaur Valley State Park + Dinosaur World, this was a great location for our trip. Thanks to Debbie and Ciara!

Best long term rental! Place is comfortable, clean, and has everything you might need. The hosts are always responsive and kind. They made the place truly feel like our home. Would only stay at one of Nelson and Lissa’s places when needing a rental in Glen Rose!

My niece and I had a girl's weekend. It was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful accommodations, the water and view is spectacular. Its peaceful and quiet. The host gave great information and everything was as described. Close enough to drive to Weatherford and Fort Worth if you want to expand site seeing. Great fenced in yard for the family pups. We will come back and bring our boat next year. We felt absolutely safe, it's a gated community with a security guard. If you have ever stayed on the lake you know that you will wind through the neighborhood to get to the water properties. I have to admit the drive after the gate had me nervous in places but don't worry. You will not be disappointed. Most streets are immaculately kept as are the properties around the house. The decor is a little bit of western texas with a splash of lake. We only cooked once but everything we needed was there. There is not a single negative I can think of. I highly recommend this place.

The Pomegranate House was superb! The owners take great pride in their accommodations and it shows. I had everything I needed and then some for a relaxing getaway! This was a somewhat last minute booking and I was relieved to see check in was easy and the owner is so responsive. There’s a park not far which I loved to take my dog to. But there’s also a fenced yard and lovely porch to enjoy with your pet as well. Downtown Granbury is a short distance with lots of historic buildings and lovely restaurants + cafes. This is a quiet, clean and comfortable establishment which I appreciated for my solo weekend. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed staying in the home so much. Ginger is the best!!! The back yard was perfect for our little dogs. The location is such a peaceful area! Not only is the home cozy and homey, the neighborhood is also wonderful!!! So many nice people here! We highly recommend this home and Ginger too!!!!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Evolve. Check-in/out was extremely easy, home and property was exceptionally clean, great view of the lake from both inside the home and out, quiet neighborhood, as well as a beautifully decorated home.

Wonderful place, great location, we loved the setting and would definitely come back again when in the area. Hosts were very nice and respectful as well as responsive to questions. The house had everything we needed! The decor was so interesting and fun. We loved the record player, records and games. The four bedrooms and two baths were great. The weather made sitting on the patio very comfortable. The kitchen was very conducive for cooking. The drive to the square was easy and convenient. It was a great weekend. Thank you!

A beautiful view of the lake any time of the day. The back deck is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house had a great layout, and we loved the large kitchen, comfy furniture, and having onsite laundry.

To say we had an Amazing time is not enough. Mac and Belinda were Wonderful . They were very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Their property is truly a home away from home. We were provided with everything we needed and more. To have access to the lake and the beautiful view of the sunset was a dream! You can tell they have put so much thought and care into providing guests with a comfortable memorable experience. Our favorite part was the lake view and kayaking. We will definitely be returning!

This home is perfect for a quiet weekend away. We loved the large covered patio, but the weather kept us inside mostly. Beds are very comfortable, just a bit tall for us short people. Our little fur baby enjoyed the great fenced in yard. Only complaint, the heating unit is loud. It's located next to the den and makes it hard to hear the TV when it's on. Great place. Elaine

The home itself is simple yet thoughtfully maintained, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The calm and serene atmosphere was perfect for unwinding, and the owners, who live nearby, were wonderfully attentive. Their kindness and care added a personal touch that made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a spot that’s close to town but feels like a hidden getaway, this is the perfect place. I would highly recommend it and hope to stay again in the future!

Ben and Paula are excellent hosts. They are great at communicating. There place was cozy and quiet. I really enjoyed staying here and will look them up next time I am in the area.

Great atmosphere and peaceful home. Was super easy to get in, clear ok instructions. home was super cleans and things were easy to find. Will definitely look to staying here again on future trips.

It was so much more than I anticipated. Beautiful property, lovely animals, and friendly personnel. The homemade cookies were the cherry on top. I will come back, only next time I will bring my grandkids.
