It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

My husband, mother-in-law, dog and I spent a weekend at this beautiful location. If you like privacy, scenery, peacefulness, and nature then this is the place to stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The glass sitting room is a fantastic place to read. The yard is huge and my dog loved running around and playing. The beds are also extremely comfortable, which is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend in Vermont, we highly recommend staying here. 5 out of 5!

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

This was the nicest air bnb I have ever stayed. It was cozy, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view. The hosts went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we would possibly need to feel at home. They were responsive and easy going. The house was even nicer than the photos.

Mariana was wonderful. She lent us slippers since it was cold outside. She left a lot of provisions for our use so we did not need to buy olive oil, etc. She left clear directions for check out and garbage disposal. The house was very clean and the views from her property were amazing. We had a wonderful time and saw some amazing fossils from the Chazy reef.

Gorgeous peaceful accommodations on the gut. We were there to enjoy the sunsets while escaping the hustle and bustle…and we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for the opportunity! We highly recommend the property to anyone looking to enjoy the best of Champlain Islands.

Very nice house right on Lake Champlain! Spacious and clean, matching the listing exactly. Clear communication from the friendly hosts Joel and Caitlin. Excellent location in South Hero. Child and pet friendly (although we had neither). We look forward to staying there again.

Cannot recommend Audrey or her space highly enough. It was beautiful, private, spacious, with so many amenities. She was so gracious to stock the fridge with a few items since we were getting in late. It was overall a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

Very beautiful, Clean home and private I would gladly stay again

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and truly treated like family! The games, puzzles and information about things to do in the area kept us busy and entertained. We had everything we could possibly need for both a weekend stay and a longer term stay later on. The welcome goodies were a huge hit as well!

Robin and Mark (and their dog!) were ideal hosts. My only challenge was that I didn't have a car, which is difficult on their street with no sidewalks ... especially with snow! But I made it safely on foot everywhere I needed to go.

Jonathan's place was perfect for our needs. We had an early flight for my son and his family. The baby had a crib and my 6 yr old granddaughter had her own room. She loved the switch and we played Go Fish with the cards in the poker box. Jonathan was always responsive and helpful. He had clear directions regarding parking and getting in. This allowed us to arrive the night before and not have to drive 2 hours into Burlington. What a blessing!

Jackie’s place was perfect for my group ski trip! Just over 30 minutes from Bolton Valley, very close to Burlington, and a beautiful home! We had 6 guests and everyone had enough space. My crew loved the kitchen, attached sunroom, and layout of the overall home. Jackie was extremely responsive and helpful via chat and I highly recommend staying here!

We had a great holiday weekend in Charlotte at Robert's apartment. It was close to the mountains we wanted to climb and a nature preserve where we skied. Close to Burlington and Middlebury where we found dinner each night. The apartment is cozy and comfortable; really a delightful place. We also met Robert who was funny and the perfect host. We stayed during a massive winter storm that dumped so much snow on the area and Robert was always very interested in making sure we could get out of the driveway! There were also thoughtful snacks and what not for us when we arrived which is such a nice bonus. We will definitely check to see if the apartment is available the next time we come to VT. Thank you so much, Robert! We hope to stay with you again soon.

Great “home away from home” for a visit. I’m no longer used to freezing weather and appreciate that it was warm when I arrived and not drafty, and the bed and couch had pleasant blankets.

If you are looking for a comfy cabin to stay in, stop looking. You found it! 10/10 cozy, warm and wonderful

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

This was overall a lovely stay! I appreciated that the description and photos matched the experience. Darren is a responsive host which was also very appreciated. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautiful. I recommend looking at the forecast before your visit and making sure you have a car with 4 wheel drive if you expect snow since cabin is located on an unpaved road.

If you need or want a super relaxing, cozy, and comfortable getaway to recharge do not hesitate to book this beautiful cabin. The cabin itself is beautifully built, and having trails right outside the door was fantastic. Our dog was welcomed with open arms, and we loved meeting Marilyn and Dick’s beautiful pup as well. The cabin was stocked with so many things we appreciated, providing wonderful breakfast options. Sitting on the porch and taking in the view was amazing. We grilled both nights and loved having the outdoor space to do so. Another thing Marilyn provided us was information about the area that we used a lot! We went to a local brewery, butcher, and farm store, all within a few miles of the cabin.

I loved my stay! Shane is a fantastic host — so friendly and helpful and cool. The place is new, clean, and charming. It smells like fresh wood — one of my favorite smells, like forest aromatherapy. It was the perfect place to stay for a magical, quiet retreat in the woods. Cozy. Renewing.

This house was perfect for our family, the kids loved being right by the lake. Having a fire pit, grill, water activities and quick access to the main roads made for a great weekend. The place was immaculate with more than enough for our stay.

The host was very helpful and friendly . He recommended places to eat and things to do . If traveling through I would recommend it’s peaceful and quiet .

Exceeded our expectations. Kristine was super responsive and extremely helpful. The cabin is so spacious and peaceful. Easy drive from Burlington and other surrounding towns. Planning our next stay already!
