This was our second time to this cottage. We had a great weekend away. Made s’mores at the firepit in yard while it snowed. It’s been cold this year so quite incredible to see the lake frozen. Two of the nights were clear skies and this spot offers some of the most majestic sunsets. Came inside and sat by the fireplace with hot drinks. Perfect kitchen with everything you need. Super refreshing atmosphere and left feeling rejuvenated.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tea house! It was snowy and cold outside (perfect for skiing!), but the place was cozy and warm. We appreciated the French press coffee that was provided- much better than having "pods". We didn't have time to explore the hot tub and the rest of the grounds, but hopefully we will get to if we stay here again!

We've stayed at this cottage several times and have always had an excellent time, it is about as close to paradise as you can find. This time, we met Andrew and he brought us on a tour of his other cottage and gave us the history. His cabins and his hospitality are unbeatable, highly recommended.

This place is the perfect spot for a quiet get away. My boyfriend and I spent our 9 year anniversary here and we were so happy, the house was perfect and cozy, Montreal was just under an hour away, the town was so cute, and the Ausable Chasm was beautiful! I would highly recommend this place, and Michael was a fantastic host, looking forward to coming again!

House worked out well for four ice fishermen. walking distance to lake. As far as house goes it was nice to have separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. kitchen was very functional.Played pool every night table has seen better days still had a lot of fun. Spectacular view of lake and mountains in the background.

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Roxanne's place on Lake Champlain was wonderful. Quiet neighborhood and the backyard is very private, with nice views of the lake. Groceries and a few restaurants were about 15 minutes. The kayaks and canoe were great and they had lifejackets we could use too. Nice amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. We really enjoyed our time at Roxanne's place.

What a great stay! Rick and Jenna’s place was better than in the pictures. I can’t even begin to explain how much thought was put into everything, tons and tons of small details that made our stay amazing

We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The veranda is beautiful and because of the rainy weather we had, we were on the veranda most of the time! It is so cozy yet big enough for our 5 women! The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the bedding. We had the best time, laughing, eating, and playing games (not to mention a few cocktails). We are recharged and ready to go back to work! This is our second stay here. We love it! It is serene and peaceful -- set in an apple orchard that leads up to a wooded hill with views of mountains and a lake. Excellent snowshoeing. What's not to love? The home is clean and comfortable, and very homey. We look forward to returning again. Monique and Luc are terrific hosts.

This house is so great , nestled on a tiny hill so you can enjoy views of Mirror Lake . It feels like home inside , many amenities to make our stay easy & enjoyable. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here as it remains a great home & close proximity to Main Street & the lake .

Sandra’s place was as described with beautiful surroundings. It was located on Lac Brôme a little ways away from the closest town, but very easy to find. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. We had some difficulty with our car rental the first evening we were supposed to be there and Sandra offered to leave lights on and have the place warm for us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to arrive until the next day, but I appreciate Sandra’s responsiveness to our situation. Just one bit of information if you do rent - the beds upstairs are infinitely more comfortable than the one on the main floor.

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The views from the cabin are beautiful, and you can’t beat the location directly on the lake. The lake views from inside, the screened in porch, and the backyard were awesome. The kitchen had supplies to make breakfasts/basic meals, the space was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We used this cabin as a home base for visiting Burlington, Waterbury, and Stowe and found it easy to navigate to and from the highway to these larger cities.

Ashley's cottage provided an excellent retreat for our family during March break! The location was tranquil and the home was just as described. The large, open-plan main living area was great for lounging and we truly appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen. Including basic essentials such as salt and pepper and cooking oil made our stay that much more convenient. We would definitely rent this again!

Morgan is the perfect host, providing everything necessary to a magical stay in their remarkable cabin. I had complete privacy and quiet, but knew she was readily available if I had any questions or needs. The cabin itself is a wonder of architecture, with every detail carefully thought out and rendered. There are books galore and CDs, the slipper foot bathtub is amazing, and the back patio offers a peaceful view of trees and meadow. The property is dotted with wonderful sculptures by her husband, Alan. I watched the sun rise and set and walked down the very dark night road to look at the stars. The woods are my favorite place to be, and there was no shortage of local hiking trails. The general store just down the street is staffed by very friendly folks, and I bought a new favorite coffee mug made by a local artisan. In short, my stay was everything I hoped it would be, and I would highly recommend it.

Patti was a wonderful host- she was very proactive in making sure we got to the location easily as well as providing ideas for us to do while we were there. The place was wonderful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful trees. I would recommend this to any leaf peepers or someone wanting a quiet Vermont getaway.

This was a beautiful stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious and cute. Loved spending evenings near the lakefront watching the sunset. Short drive to Pointe au roche for trails.
