This cabin was amazing. It was cozy and well stocked. We went during the coldest months and we found plenty to do. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire. Definitely would recommend and return. Chad was a great host and checked in on our group!

Absolutely magical winter getaway! This cabin in the woods is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a peaceful winter wonderland, with snow-covered trees and crisp, fresh air. The cabin itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, complete with candles that create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The hot tub was a highlight, offering a warm escape while surrounded by the serene winter landscape. After soaking, we enjoyed the sauna, which was the ultimate way to unwind after a day of hiking and snowshoeing through the snow-covered trails. The views from the cabin were breathtaking, and stargazing at night was an unforgettable experience—such clear skies and endless stars. If you’re looking for a tranquil, nature-filled retreat, this is the place. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The host was friendly, helpful, and very responsive. Highly recommend!

This home was absolutely gorgeous! The photos listed were great but it was even more immaculate in person. Such a cozy spot with great views of Lake Superior. We will be coming back for sure :)

We wanted something within walking distance to experience grand marais closer, and this was just the spot. Being able to walk the dog down to the harbor at any time of day was such a treat for both of us lol! Todd and Susan went out of their way to accommodate our dog: provided extra linens to protect the (very comfy) furniture, along with local dog treats and poop bags. The place was super clean and well kept. Bed and couch were super comfy. But the two main reasons I'd book this place again is definitely the super walkable location AND the jacuzzi feature was 10/10. Thanks for hosting us, we'll be back again!

We wanted to spend some downtime in the north woods after the holidays, and the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was just perfect. Reading, eating, sleeping, relaxing in the sauna, and just taking in the beautiful wintry surroundings was so peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife, including a resident red fox. It was also close enough to Bayfield to check out local restaurants and bookstores, and take the ferry to Madeline Island.

This was such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. It can get cold at night on the north shore in October, but a nice fire in the fireplace kept the cabin warm. The cabin is right off the road but perfectly secluded and private. There were a lot of nice extras like books, games, etc. I will most likely stay there again in the future. It was perfect!

We loved staying here! Such a beautiful area and the host was so responsive and nice :) I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy house that tons can sleep in!

We have stayed at several other Airbnbs and David's rental is by far the best. Beautiful setting!

The little cabin by the river was the perfect getaway for our weekend birding trip. We were able to easily use it as a home base to venture in to Two Harbors and Sax-Zim Bog. Perfect location!

My husband and I loved our stay! The cabin was so cozy and cute, and was remote enough for us to have some privacy, but also close enough to order food from restaurants or go to the general store if needed. Perfect weekend getaway!

I found this place while searching for a quieter place for a short stay. Situated on a beautiful North Shore, Kyle's Place was the perfect location for what I was looking for. It's time to watch a beautiful night sky and take some photographs. It's the ideal location, not too far from the main road but tucked away in the woods. This place is peaceful. As mentioned in his description, it's almost like a glamping experience. It's a cozy cabin, and you can barely hear anything but peace and the sounds of the woods. Kyle is very friendly and quick to respond to any queries I have. He also gave me lots of local recommendations. As I said, I came for a shorter stay, but I am 100% sure that I will be back soon in the spring for a longer stay and hiking.

Our family REALLY enjoyed ourselves in Kami & Matthew's cabin! We had set our sights on a location that was a bit more remote, cozy but spacious enough for our family of 4, while tucked away in a winter wonderland and beautiful surroundings. We got all of these things in one (except for the snow part which was unfortunate, but hard to control)! The layout of the cabin was perfect and the location was really great, and we all loved just enjoying the place in a relaxed tempo. We would highly recommend this wonderful spot and would definitely not mind coming back when there's more snow :-)

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, remote, inviting, very clean, and so comfortable! It was a perfect getaway for our family. Access to the sauna at the Lodge was wonderful. Very kind and responsive host. Thank you!

A beautiful cabin for a winter weekend retreat with amazing surroundings and lots of privacy. Appreciated the heads-up regarding need for 4 wheel drive in the winter-- was easy going with our Jeep. The cabin itself was awesome and we stayed nice and cozy with the stove fireplace. Beautiful hiking just a mile away! We will definitely stay again!

We only stayed one night but the place was very clean and exceeded expectations. We got a great night’s rest and would love to stay here again!

This was a great little cabin for our kid free weekend away! They had everything in the kitchen you could need to cook meals. It’s tucked into the woods so it’s private and it’s just what we were looking for. It was clean and we had a great experience! Derek was quick and responsive when an issue came up.
