We chose this place based on it being a central location to ski at Crystal Mountain, hike Sleeping Bear Dunes, and sip wine at the region’s amazing wineries and it did not disappoint. 😄 One of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable beds and very thoughtful touches. We hope to be back in the summer some day to go to the lake with those kayaks and paddle boards! Thanks again!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for almost a week in late October to enjoy some hiking and the fall colors. The house was very clean and was very well stocked with towels, kitchenware, etc. Beautiful and well maintained house. Would absolute stay here again.

Our group of 10 had a lovely stay over New Year’s. The home was beautiful, spacious, had a well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed the games in the lower level. Beautiful views of the water and close to downtown Sutton’s Bay, wineries, Hop Lot Brewing Company and Traverse City. Would definitely recommend.

Anchor Inn was a great place to stay for our family. The main house was easily found off West Bayview, and it had great views of sunrises over the lake. There were several updates to the house, but lots of character from furniture pieces, plants, and decor. We came near the end of the off season, so we couldn't take advantage of the water proximity. However, we enjoyed the community fire pit and gas fireplace during our stay. Great for families, and conveniently located with groceries, restaurants, and local attractions nearby. Highly recommend!

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

We loved this home. Perfect for our sibling wkend. The home was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Plenty of Living space. Loved the kitchen. The deck & all the furniture plentiful. A Firepit, khakis if you want to be on the water. Plenty of bedrooms, linens & beach towels. You won’t be sorry with your stay. The location is perfect between Traverse City to Suttons Bay the other direction. I would recommend a new coffee pot for the kitchen. It takes a long time to brew.

It was absolutely beautiful. The trees had just changed colors and it was such a nice view! It was quiet and private. During business hours, you can hear the wine tasting room but that didn’t bother me at all. We stopped in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. So happy to have visited. Highly recommend!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

We loved being right in the heart of it all - walking distance to the beach, the marina, plus the many eateries in the downtown area. The space was clean and quaint and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a small sun porch we could sit in to drink our coffee and watch passersby. We were planning to eat out so it was no trouble for us that this studio was not equipped for any cooking. We did have a nice mini fridge with a freezer for drinks and snacks. As soon as we arrived in town we watched the sunset at the marina and saw the northern lights immediately afterward! Guess it just worked out that night. Stacy was excellent with communication both by phone call and text. The shower was nice and hot but be aware there is a curtain dividing the bathroom rather than an actual door. Would highly recommend WaterFire winery a short 10 minute drive away. We love all of the water views in the area and walking to everything so we would be pleased to stay here again.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for both adults and kids. Plenty of pots, pans, and dishes in the kitchen for all meals. Well stocked with towels and shower supplies. Perfect location to walk to Traverse City's Front Street with lots of local shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of the beach. We definitely will be back.

David and Nicole were exceptional hosts. They were extremely responsive and genuinely vested in a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Their attention to detail, well equipped accommodations made my stay better than my own home. Everything in its place and easy to find. I stay in Airbnb’s all over the country and this is easily top 3 and they have a very happy repeat client as long as they will have me. Thanks for an excellent experience David and Nicole. This place was perfect! It was VERY clean, in addition to smelling wonderful. The furniture was clean/not worn and comfortable, beds comfortable and nice pillows (firm and soft - quality ones too). The bathroom and kitchen were both fully stocked. They thought of all the things you could need and we appreciated the extra supplies (garbage bags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc.) We even grilled steaks on the gas grill a sat on the back patio on a chilly fall night. The place was convenient to Suttons Bay and the surrounding towns. We ate at the local bar, had coffee at the coffee shop, and went to the winery (not our fav, but liked the atmosphere). Brooks was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. The remodeled apartment is one of the best! We will definitely be back and will book again.

Our second time staying here. Very clean and neat. Super close to the horse park and the beach. Host is always responsive within a few minutes. Will definitely stay again.

Our family felt right at home. My favorite part of the stay was watching the sunsets and sitting and the dinner table watching the lake sparkle in the sun. Fred was so friendly and listened to what I said. I mentioned how we love bbqing on the Weber grill and he remembered that and had charcoal out and ready to go for us. He didn’t have to do to at but he did to make us feel welcomed and it did! Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and there was lots of room for family time and games.

Beautiful location. Nice, older style cabin. Very clean. Hosts were very nice and great communicators. Beach was beautiful and private. Super clear water; found a number of Petoskey stones and saw some nice rainbow trout swimming around. Would definitely visit again

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

We absolutely loved Tom’s place! The location was on a beautiful lake and was so peaceful. It wasn’t a far drive from the activities we in Traverse City for. We will definitely look this place up the next time we’ll be in the area.

Sweet space with walkability to a stunning view of Lake Leelanau. Easily able to drive to local “hot spots” like Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. All the peninsula's wineries and cideries are within a short drive and so are some of the most incredible hiking paths. The space is quaint with everything you might need for a visit. My favorite was the fireplace and the stream just out the front door…the sound of it was delightful. The backyard space is vast and a wonderful place for a bonfire! You’ll enjoy your time here.

We had a wonderful time staying in the cottage. Its spacious, cozy, and has all the amenities you would need. The beach front is beautiful and right across the street.
