Emily and Jon-Michael were great hosts. They provided great guidance on what to expect and answered our questions promptly, both before the trip and while we were there. They also were quick to address minor things that cropped up. The house itself was perfect for our Thankgiving trip, offering a clean, well-stocked kitchen; a big dining room table; lots of places to curl up and relax; and comfy places to sleep. The kids also loved the hot tub! We'd gladly go back.

This place is great! Very friendly hosts and peaceful location. I came up with a couple of buddies to try snowboarding and it was a great feeling walking into this cozy home after rolling around in the snow all day. The kitchen has just about anything you’d need to cook as far as pots and pans and utensils as well as some common cooking items like flour and sugar. There is a guitar, it only had 3 strings when we got there but we strang it up and it’s good to go for whoever’s next. Overall I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back when we’re in the area!

Staying at Danita’s place was great. We were in the area for work, will book again if we are in the area again anytime soon.

We had a lovely time. Beautiful house and location. We skied most days at Timberline which was only 8 minutes away. We snowshoed into wilderness from the house which was very cool. Hot tub was nice. Host was super nice and responsive, including letting us check out late which was a luxury.

Alison and this listing were an absolute life saver when we were in Canaan Valley. We had rented another home through a different host only to arrive to a place with frozen pipes. We were told to find another home. By some miracle this place was available starting the following day. I reached out to Alison and she immediately responded. Even though she had someone else checking out the same day she went above and beyond to get the house turned around and ready for us with minimal notice. What could have been a disaster was immediately salvaged. Alison was so incredibly kind and responsive. The home was perfect for our large group of extended family and we were finally able to completely relax and enjoy a wonderful long weekend together.

Great house, super convenient to timberline for a great weekend of skiing. Hot tub was perfect end to the day. Tempur pedic bed in master was icing on the cake!! Will be back for sure.

Great location in Davis, in walking distance from the coffee shop and restaurants and not too far a drive from Timberline. The place really is as crooked as everyone says, but it’s full of character and has lots of fun art and old fashioned decorations. Craig was really kind and helpful.

Fantastic stay! We had everything we wanted and the location to ski resorts was ideal. At night, it was a 3 minute walk to all the shops and nightlife. Plan to stay again!

Our experience was absolutely amazing! The attention to detail from the moment we booked until our check-out was incredible. Everything, from the guides to the fast communication, was very well thought out. Additionally, the house was equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Before we even left, we were already recommending it to our friends and family! We definitely want to go back and truly appreciate every single detail!

Glad we finally tried this place! Convenient, clean and comfortable. Checked in and immediately walked next door for a tasting at the distillery. Great local food options within walking distance. Convenient to Timberline where we were skiing. Great value. We’ll be back!

This is such a cute getaway for the weekend! Not only is it right on the river, but you are minutes away from a lot of great shops and restaurants! The place is very clean and spacious. We will be back once the weather warms up for some sunny outdoor activities! Thank you for everything!

Alison's place was fantastic! The view overlooking the river is beautiful and being within walking distance of the restaurants and shops in Davis makes it super convenient. It's an easy commute to the ski resorts and a short hop away from Thomas where you can see some great live music at the Purple Fiddle and check out the cute shops. Definitely recommend!

This is a perfect stay for a couple looking to explore the Canaan Valley. Minutes away from the ski locations. Quiet and peaceful. Everything from the hot tub, bed, couches, and shower is designed for comfort and relaxation. The heated floors in the bathroom are extra nice in the wintertime as are the heated mats that run from the back door to the hot tub. The gas fireplace is easy to use, and the kitchen is huge with everything necessary to make meals. The arcade games were an extra bonus. We would definitely stay at this location next time we visit.

Pansy was so friendly and her property is amazing! This is just the stay my friend and I were looking for - picturesque, quiet, remote, and off grid. I truly felt unplugged! The wind was wild and we watched some snow fall but we stayed toasty inside the cabin! As someone that drives back roads often, the road up to the cabin was fine in my AWD SUV. I would highly recommend this AirBNB! I will be booking again in the future! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property Pansy!

What a perfect mountain getaway! Quiet, peaceful, and a good place to relax! After days of hiking in the Dolly Sods, we enjoyed the hammock and fire pit after! Definitely worth visiting again!

My daughter and I had a great time staying at Cameron’s place. We were lucky to get there just before a significant snow fall and found the place to be a great place to enjoy the snow and nearby winter activities. Fire place was all ready with kindling and dry wood for fires after a day in the snow.. the house was easy to find, well equipped, clean and comfortable .. Cameron left great instructions and checked in by airbnb / text message to make sure we didn’t have any concerns .. location was very close to white grass, Canaan Valley ski as well as the restaurants and shops in Davis and black water falls.. thank you !

Abrams Creek is a great place for a quiet, private, beautiful rustic cabin camping experience. The grounds were fantastic, from the moment you pass the check-in you are immediately in the woods. At the cabin itself you feel like you are alone in the woods next to a peaceful stream. The cabin was comfortable and plenty warm with the propane heating, and having a dedicated port-a-potty right next to our site made bio-breaks much more convenient than if you had to walk to a central bathhouse. Highly recommend Abrams Creek!

Fantastic stay - the house was incredible, great location, and right by Timberline mountain. The amenities were great, and we enjoyed using the hot-tub which was clean and warm. There were many nice additional touches, such as the toiletries including toothbrushes, soaps, etc., and games. The cabin was spacious and had great heating. Darien, the host, was very flexible and responsive. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful getaway!
