We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

Reservation, checkin and checkout were smooth. The unit is bigger than it appears in the pictures with a good sized living/dining/kitchen that is open plan and nice sized bedrooms upstairs. The WiFi worked well and there is a TV in the living room and every bedroom. If you want a more analog experience, a few TVs have VCRs and there is a wide selection of family friendly VHS tapes.

The house was just as described. It was perfect for our little family getaway! Tons of space to spread out. Loads of fun extras. The view is amazing! We had a great time!

This place was beautiful inside and out. There were plenty of places to sleep (we had 9 guests) and it was extremely clean. The host was very kind and was well accommodating! There was plenty of cookware to make our stay feel more at home as well. I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back!

5 star stay here in Davis. The space is beautiful and spacious end unit townhouses on two levels. The hot tub was brand new and water was pristine. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely community space a few feet away with playground, pool and lake. I would highly recommend this place

This was a perfect location for us with two small children. The house was had plenty of space, was well stocked, and clean! We would absolutely book this house again.

Great home and location on the mountain. Just a short walk to the mid mountain chairlift. Ski in ski out is so convenient. Great view of sunsets from the large windows in the back of the home. Super cozy on the sectional sofa in front of the wood stove.

Just AMAZING. We booked for a weekend getaway since it's near some great hiking and stargazing spots. But we were able to see the milky way from Trad's place. There was firewood ready for the fire pit as well as a radio and grill outside (though we didn't use the grill.) The kitchen was well-stocked for some simple cooking. The place smelled of fresh wood -- it seemed recently constructed and very clean and new.

Kim’s house is extremely cozy and very well located. It is close to canaan valley resort so it was very convenient for our stay because we were on a ski trip. The house is fully equipped to make the stay really easy and comfortable. I would definetely come back again to kims house. Everything inside the house match oir expectations and we had lots of fun! The bedrooms were really comfortable for s good night rest! 5 stars to kim and her house

Brittney’s house was charming and just what we needed for 10 people. The bedrooms were spacious and the living room was great for us to gather and play games and hang out with each other. Our power went out due to a fallen tree. Not her fault by any means but her husband did come check on us to make sure we didn’t need heaters to keep the house warm. They were very accommodating.

Our family spent a long weekend hoping for some snow. The house is cute and spacious perfect for a family of five. It has everything you need for cooking by, and the owners are very responsive. You will be greeted by a friendly car at the door. The driveway is easily accessible even with 6 inch of snow. Watch out for the deer at dusk, they are everywhere!! JB & Tina.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming winter cabin nestled right in the heart of Davis, WV. The cabin was cozy and very clean. The location felt private and had beautiful surrounding views. It was 9min drive from Timberline Ski and 15min from Canaan Valley Ski Resort, which was perfect for our weekend getaway. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we booked, they were quick to respond to any questions and offered great local tips. They checked in and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and were always a message away if anything came up. It was clear they genuinely cared about our experience and wanted us to feel at home. Highly recommend!!!!

We had a lovely stay at Rosemarie's. Host is delightful, large clean rooms with beautiful scenery. Close to the ski resorts and state parks. We will be back. Great place to stay for either for one night or for a week.

The Chateau was beautiful and in a great location. The house itself is gorgeous as are the views. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with cookware and basic ingredients. It would have been nice if the house had sponges, dish soap, paper towels etc, but the description noted that we should bring our own, which was helpful. The jacuzzi worked well and was extremely clean. The fireplace did not work, which was unfortunate. The biggest issue was that the house seemed to have an infestation of lady bugs, which affected almost every room. Additionally, there was a sulphur smell--probably--from the septic tank which was very strong on the lower level. The house is great for families with kids (not babies/toddlers), and also great for a group as is the proximity to Timberline.

Matt’s place was absolutely perfect! We loved everything about the house and area. It worked great for 2 families - plenty of space, yet still so cozy and comfortable! You can tell it has been updated by someone who wants it to feel like home for their guests, and I so appreciate that as a fellow AirBnb host. When we weren’t snowboarding at Timberline (just up the road a couple of minutes), we enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace!! The house was fully stocked with all you need - plenty of towels, blankets, amazing kitchen, cleaning supplies, and tons of firewood to stay warm. We are already planning to return next year. It’s easy to highly recommend this home; you will not regret it!

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful and a very short, flat walk to the slopes. We have young kids and getting on and off the slope was a breeze for them - they could even carry their own gear. We found the home exceptionally clean and updated with some really nice higher-end amenities. Would gladly stay again if we can! As an added bonus, Alison was very responsive and professional.

Was a wonderful place to stay the view of the lake was beautiful and peaceful. Only negative think I could say but didn’t both us any was that the downstairs game room did have some stains on carpet and the bathroom shower is small but that’s just trying to pick a place apart. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a private and beautiful cabin on a lake for a week or weekend go for this one.

This house is located in the beautiful Canaan valley. It is very private and adjacent to a very large natural area. The large pond on the property was crystal clear, beautiful and provided endless fun for the children. We have stayed in many vacation homes, but I will have to say that the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any place that we have stayed. We had a large group and could easily cook for the group in this well supplied kitchen. The house is large with three separate living spaces. This allowed the group to separate at times (especially the children) and play games, etc. We needed assistance from maintenance one day. They were very prompt and fixed the issue quickly. One huge bonus that we found was that this home is in a development that has quick and easy access to Dolly Sods Wilderness area. This access is only for those staying in this development. The view of the Canaan Valley from the trail head was amazing. We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful views, quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. Plenty of good quality towels, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub.
