Eli’s place was perfect for my needs while working on the American River. I needed a quiet place to shower, eat, do some computer work, and sleep after long days in the sun and water. I stayed for 5 nights and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Me and my partner spent our anniversary here and it was more than perfect! We were looking to get away from the city and this checked all the boxes and then some! We arrived at night and our host even had a fire started for us it was the perfect check-in! We also happened to fall in love with the town we stayed in, the couple times we went into town the atmosphere felt so welcoming! Truly a beautiful place to stay at, thank you Libby!💐

Really great place to enjoy some time away. Instructions from the host for locating the apartment, parking, and check-in were clear and easy to understand. Apartment was just as described, was very clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect for being able to walk anywhere you want to go in Nevada City and having parking on site was a major benefit.

Nice spacious cabin with lots of amenities and peaceful views. Spent 2 nights. Spotless clean, very comfortable beds, and kids enjoyed the board games. Great location, easy access to everything, right off HW 80 and 30 mins away from a snow park. However you can hear some freeway noise from the cabin deck. There is a canal and trail right by the cabin. The canal trail is not accessible via property so you have walk around the property for the entrance few mins away. Excellent host, Jennifer was friendly, always promptly responded to questions, and accommodated booking changes.

The Puppet Inn exceeded my expectations. The apartment is very well done -- very nice design & craftsmanship, impeccably clean. We were impressed with all of the little details with regard to decorations and amenities. Quality is the constant theme for everything Marisa and Ray have done in creating this special place, and we appreciated all of that. Charming would be one of many positive adjectives to describe their place. Also, ahead of our visit, I commissioned a custom art piece from Ray as a surprise gift for my wife. Marisa and Ray went the extra mile to help with the surprise reveal of the piece to my wife. At the end of our stay, we were so comfortable with Ray & Marisa, that it felt like we were leaving old friends. We were comforted knowing that they are now our new friends, and we look forward to visiting them again. I would recommend the Puppet Inn to any of my family or friends looking for a quality, charming place to stay in the Grass Valley area.

Super cute house, great location you can walk anywhere downtown Grass Valley. Everything else is very local and easy to get to. Private parking space to pull into and parking on the street as well. House is clean and inviting! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Daphne!

One of the best Airbnbs I've had the pleasure to stay in! Emily was friendly, super responsive and helpful. The place was fantastic: quiet, perfectly clean, beautiful and unique design. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments and accessories. The linens were soft and high quality - and (thank you) no fabric softener or harsh chemicals! A single, couple, or small family will be very happy here. I also enjoyed several walks in the large forested park just outside the door! I'll be back next time I come to Grass Valley. Ben's house is a beauty! Our family loved our stay there and felt immediately at home. It's a great location to explore Nevada City and other cool little towns, hike along the Yuba River and get your snow fix nearby. Thanks Ben!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. The view from the deck is amazing and it’s all gated in so it was very dog friendly. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and overall the house is really nice!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was absolutely perfect. It was exactly what we needed for the time while we were there. Very nice quiet neighborhood and private. It felt like home after a while. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. I love the surrounding areas and the town that it’s in.
