This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

Tranquil, beautiful mountainside villa about 10 minutes from Bronte with imposing view of Etna and surrounded by vineyards, magpies, and flocks of sheep. The exterior of the building is volcanic rock, giving an “old-world” Italian feel. The host, Nunzio, went far above and beyond the call of duty in welcoming us after a difficult travel in the middle of the night, helping us when our rental car ran a flat tire on the way there, making introductions in town and guiding us through city hall, recommending restaurants where I ate some of the best food in my life, and overall caring for us and treating us as family. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for his care and support while we were here.

We couldn’t recommend this place more! Exceptional value for money with an unforgettable view that has to be seen to be believed. The house itself is modest but spotlessly clean and very private. Reaching it at night can be a bit tricky due to the narrow roads—prepare for some adventurous driving! Accessing Taormina is convenient if you're up for a bit of exercise: either walk about 240 steps or take a 20-minute drive. This worked well for us, and even the kids enjoyed the walk. Martina’s local recommendations were fantastic. After trying all her suggestions, I can assure you they really made our stay memorable.

Das Haus liegt in einer tollen Lage und hat eine erstklassige Ausstattung. Es ist sehr neu, alles funktioniert also wie es soll. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, ebenso die anderen Räume. Vincenzo hat uns beim Check in super empfangen und alles ausführlich erklärt. Auch zwischendurch hat er sich immer nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt, also sehr vorbildlich. Die Ostküste Siziliens ist eine absolute Empfehlung, erst recht in diesem Haus.

Vi var to netter hos Tatiana og Giancarlo. Stedet har alt man trenger og Tatiana var utrolig behjelpelig. Vi fikk også tilsendt en brosjyre med nyttig informasjon om stedet og hva Tatiana kunne være behjelpelig med. Stedet ligger fem til ti minutter gange i mye trapper opp til sentrum og gondolen til Mazzaro, og selve villaen ligger skjermet fra byens støy. Det er også et flott bassengområde på eiendommen som man kan benytte om ønskelig. Alt var rent og leiligheten fremsto veldig eksklusiv i møbleringen og innredningen. Det er god og skjermet parkering på eiendommen. Vi anbefaler stedet og hadde et fantastisk opphold.

Sehr freundliche, kommunikative, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus ist ruhig und ländlich in einer gated community gelegen. Alles an der Unterkunft ist genauso, wie beschrieben, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wunderbarer Blick auf den Ätna. Zum Badestrand ca. 10min. mit dem Auto, zum nächsten Supermarkt ca. 20min. Alles Ausflugsziele im Osten Siziliens sind in ca. 1-1,5 Stunden erreichbar. Catania und der Flughafen von Catania sind nur max. Eine halbe Stunde entfernt.

The villa was simply stunning! We had the best, most relaxing time. The view was so pretty and special! Sandra was a great host, who made us feel welcome and safe. She replied quickly, and made sure the trip was comfortable for us. The perfect location to explore both Catania, Taormina and other cities nearby. We would 100% recommend. The hairdryer was a big plus! Also all the windows and doors had mosquito netting! Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was much appreciated (we were 3 married couples). All in all a great experience! Again, 100% recommend❤️

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Maria was an excellent host. The place was cozy and spotless clean. Everything was exactly like the photos. They waited for us on a local gas station so that they can welcome us in and show us the best way to the villa which is in a private resort. The villa is in perfect location between Siracuse and Catania. The view is amazing - the Catania bay and Etna at the palm of your hand. Maria and her husband even gave us some local pasta, wine and fruits as a welcome gift. I recommend the villa with both hands.

Excellent stay in a peaceful village close to Mount Etna and wine country

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Amazing Views, Spacious Home, Great Host! We recently spent a month at Concetto's place, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Concetto was incredibly responsive and professional, always available when needed. The home itself was very clean and spacious, offering more than enough room for our family. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the pool was sparkling clean with a perfect water temperature — great for both relaxing and swimming. However, there are a few things future guests might want to know. There is no dryer, just a drying rack, which worked fine for us but may require planning for longer stays. Additionally, there’s no outdoor grill or usable outdoor kitchen, which would have been nice to have. Also, keep in mind that walking to the main streets can be tricky. The driveway is very steep and windy, and even after reaching the bottom, there’s another steep hill to tackle. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had an amazing stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Taormina at Louisa’s place. Louisa is wonderful, very warm, friendly and helpful. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. We felt fortunate to find such a great place to stay. The place is gorgeous, it has that lovely, classic Sicilian villa feel to it. It was a joy to stay in during a few of the rainy days of our stay. The villa is very well located, just a 7 minute walk from the main walking street (Corso Umberto). It also has a private parking garage which is a difficult amenity to find in Taormina. It was a huge plus for us as we were touring Sicily by car. There’s a large, eat-in kitchen with literally everything you need on hand, the bedrooms upstairs are comfortable, with en suit baths. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and actually everything was very clean. The provided fruit, coffee and a bottle of wine from Louisa were a nice touch. We will stay here again and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. Thank you Louis

Vi var en familie på 8 som hadde en uke på Villa Respiro. Denne uken glemmer vi sent. Alt var perfekt, bedre enn bildene! Kan varmt anbefale alle å besøke denne plassen. Nært Taormina der vi brukte flere dager og kvelder. Vi nøt også mange dager og kvelder i Villaen, det var helt magisk. Kan anbefale å stå opp tidlig minst en dag å få sett soloppgang, det var en opplevelse😍 Alle var enig om at vi gjerne kommer tilbake hit! Takk for oss Sicilia og Villa Respiro❤️

It was our first ever trip to Sicily. Giuliana’s home has a Stunning entrance, gated and the surroundings felt very safe. The external views of the village, hills and pool is absolutely breathtaking with well equipped and beautifully selected furniture. We had A-LOT of questions being newbies which Giuliana so promptly and kindly answered including lots of recommendations especially where to park as most places provided a central parking space which was then walkable to the historical towns etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful warm welcome. Love everything Sicilian 🩵🩵🩵 Ps. Just to note-there is a separate apartment right below with guests who also share the pool.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

The house located in a truly peaceful and relaxing place, with lemon trees and olive trees around; the house is very beautiful and lovely, with lovely flowers around the garden, and smell really good. Vanessa and her family are very kind and nice, provided us everything we need. It's easy to drive to so many nice restaurants nearby, and very close to several towns and cities. We had a wonderful week here!

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

The house was perfect for our visit to the Catania area. All 3 bedrooms were clean, air conditioned, and spacious with private baths. The pictures in the listing show exactly what you can expect. The outside patio and porch areas are beautiful and great for enjoying a morning coffee and evening beverage. Marco worked with us to accommodate an early check-in. He promptly responded to all of our requests and concerns. The house is gated so privacy and security was not a concern.

Warmly recommended . Confirm what many have written. 5 minute walk to little town has everything for your basic needs. Fabulous cafe on Main Street. Cheese shop that has fresh bursts and mozzarella. House has all the facilities anyone could need on a vacation whether young or old, including a basil plan for salads!! Everything is clean and has been thought of and taken care of. Plenty of space for 9 people. Beautiful gardens and pool. We were sorry we could not take more advantage of pool as weather was not great. The bbq area is unbelievable. Good value if you go with 9 people. Close to Giardini a holiday town and Taormina, which is pretty but full of tourists. Need a car to get around but close to Giardini which has access to all buses and trains. Finally as has been said the owners are helpful and kind and available at all times to help.

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden hier einen 10-tägigen Urlaub verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Schönheit von Anwesen und Umgebung: Im wunderschönen Zitronenhain gelegen mit Blick auf die Hänge des Ätna und auf‘s Meer. Besser geht‘s nicht! Langeweile kam nie auf, die Gegend bietet super viel! Ein Auto ist allerdings wichtig. Auch auf dem Grundstück gab‘s immer was zu tun: wunderschöner Pool, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Fußball oder in der tollen Küche kochen… und immer frische Zitronen. Maria Gulia und Angelo sind super freundlich und halfen uns oft mit Tipps und schnellen Antworten weiter. Die Villa ist eine absolute Empfehlung!!
