Your Romantic Get Away Cabin with Hot Tub

You know an Airbnb is good when you come back twice – you know it’s great when you come back more than once and not because you’re just passing through!! We were so thankful to get the chance to repeat our family getaway to Deerview cabin and it did not disappoint! Tim and Cheryl were responsive and friendly as ever and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Definitely check out 3rd turn brewery and the drive-in – this little area does not disappoint for giving just enough to do while the cabin gives the best place to come back to and unwind. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a few meals and save some money! Hope to make it an ongoing tradition! Thanks for everything!

I was in town to be with a family member who was in the hospital. There was so much unknown about timing and Laura was incredibly accommodating and was able to extend our stay more than once with no issues. She took so much stress off of my family and we could focus on being present with our loved one. It was very clean. Facilities were decent. For example, Toilet paper holder and towel rack falling out of place frequently with bathroom door not an easy close. However, those less than ideal details were not a huge deal. Overall wonderful communication and willingness to work with us on our dates. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. The apartment is well maintained. It's such a unique setup. The hosts left very clear messages and instructions. As others have said, the only complaint we had was the noise. Creaky floorboards, pounding rain...etc. If you're a heavy sleeper then there should be no problem.

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

The River House may be the nicest Airbnb property I’ve had the opportunity of staying at. My host and their team went the extra yard to ensure my accommodations were memorable. I will consider this one of my truly “happy places” and definitely will be returning as often as possible.

4 life-long friends looked for a quick get-away. This home was perfect. Quiet, cozy, roomy and had every amenity you can think of and beyond! We wished we were able to stay longer than 2 nights. Our favorite being the hot tub and the fireplace :-) :-) Ellen was extremely helpful and responsive with any question.

Jimmy was absolutely AMAZING! We had everything we needed, and then some. We only stayed one night, and I wish we would have stayed longer. He also accommodated an early check in and late checkout! Would stay again.

Highlands Harmony House - Near Cherokee Park

We loved the old, historic neighborhood and walked around this and other nearby neighborhoods often. The house is right next to Cave Hill Cemetery and probably only a couple blocks from Mohammad Ali's grave. The host is very nice. The studio is clean and the bed is comfortable. It does not have a kitchen table but has a few smaller TV table-type tables for which to eat. We wanted to host my wife's daughter for movie and pizza but the studio was not really amenable to hosting a guest; however, it was fine for the two of us. The screened porch looks nice but the weather was cold, so we did not use it. The kitchen is small but adequate. We could always park within a block of the house, but the street was relatively narrow and was a dead-end, so it was difficult to maneuver. If you are uncomfortable parallel parking, it could be a problem for you.

Super clean, spacious condo- perfect for our group of 4! We came into town for the St. Patrick’s Day parade and Dierdre’s place was the PERFECT location- included a parking spot and we were able to walk to various restaurants, bars, etc. Flexible check in process and very responsive to messages! Would definitely stay here again!
