We loved staying here with our two families and used the hot tub a ton! Huge hit for the parents too. Some of the games in the garage didn't work which the kids were bummed about, however, the air hockey was working and they enjoyed it! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and loved the spaciousness of everything...recliner couches too. The beds were also very comfy. After we left the cleaning team found we accidentally left a cell phone and David shipped it out right away and was so kind to us! The house is about an hour and 25 minutes from Mammoth Caves Visitor Center (why we came to the area) and the drive was beautiful...in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Definitely recommend this place for those visiting in the area or those who don't mind a short drive to the Mammoth Caves.

My group of five enjoyed our stay!! Pros include easy check in and check out, a very responsive host, cute indoor decor, beautiful surroundings with Nolin Lake, and a few extra things to enjoy like a fire pit and nice tub. Cons include windy and narrow roads to gain access, and no heat besides a few space heaters. We liked the rustic vibe but were surprised how remote the location was and how close the other rental was. I would definitely rent again but would be likely to bring a few extra blankets and get groceries ahead of time to avoid a long drive. 45 minutes from Mammoth Cave Visitor Center and that was a beautiful mountain drive as well.

This was a wonderful spot for a winter retreat! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the neighborhood was incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing stay. A few things to note: the hot water ran out a bit quickly, even with just two guests, and while the appliances (oven, washer, and dryer) were on the older side, they still worked fine. Some of the aesthetic details, like the floor trim, were a little unusual, and we weren’t able to get the fire pit working (it may have been out of propane). That said, these were all minor details in an otherwise great stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others looking for a quiet getaway!

We really liked the place. Just as described, the RV has everything you need to stay a few days, it is comfortable. If you want to be in the middle of the forest and disconnected from the city, this place is perfect. Recommended.

This home was a great getaway! Beautiful patio with a great view and peaceful neighborhood. I used apple maps to get there and it does drop you a few houses before the actual cabin but if you keep going down the road the driveway is marked well and easy to find. Jerry and Loie were quick to respond with any need while our stay! They do only have direct tv so if you are a tv watcher bring your own fire stick or roku stick for streaming! The hot tub was very clean, nice and toasty for the chilly days! I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to get away from the hustle of bigger cities!

This home was the perfect spot for our family Christmas weekend! It was decorated with a Christmas tree and kid friendly ornaments, many subtle touches throughout! The kitchen was stocked better than any house we’ve rented. It had EVERYTHING we needed to cook and eat meals together! The outside space was great and it was warm enough outside to enjoy watching TV on the deck with the fireplace. Thank you for sharing your home!

Carrie was very friendly and prompt. We rent a large home every year and this one by far was our favorite. The beds were very comfortable and the house is beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful place for a large group this property is wonderful. I would definitely rent this property again.

Stacey's place, Laken' it Easy, was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful area and sitting on the porch with coffee in peaceful surroundings. The inside was clean, spaciously open and welcoming! Stacey left some delicious snacks for us, and a selection of coffee and teas. We were allowed a flexible checkout so our crew could get lunch before hitting the road. Stacey was very quick to respond to any communication. Definately a great place and I would recommend it to anyone! I would love to go back!
