A fantastic relaxing place to unwind. Judith was very quick and helpfull with all communications. The house was beautiful, far enough away to be super peacefull but only a few mins by car from Clare. Highly recommended.

5 plus stars from my whole family. The home and vineyards are pristine. There was so much to do both inside and outside. We cannot speak highly enough of David or Cookie as my children now call him (feeling comfortable with him straight away). David went above and beyond the entire trip. Sarah is a great host, friendly, couldn’t do enough to help even when it took time out of her busy schedule.

Description and photos of the place doesn’t do it justice. Spectacular view, warm and welcoming host, and just the perfect place to get away from it all. I don’t want to hype the place us too much as I selfishly want it to be available for my next trip, but unfortunately cannot fault any part of our stay. Will be booking well in advance to make sure we have this experience again.

Lovely unique accomodation on beautiful grounds, we chose the location as a spot in the South of the Barossa that was easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Under an hour from home in Adelaide and only a short drive to all the spots we wanted to explore. The hosts were informative, friendly, welcoming and keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Marijan and Peter, we will book again for sure :)

Rustic farmhouse. 3 separate wings one just outside. Expect clean, not pristine. It’s a beautiful farmhouse with character. You can’t expect to be out there and not have bugs and cobwebs. It’s really cool checking out the things in the house. It’s such a good set up for kids and dogs they can run around having fun. The walk in pantry/larder is great. It’s a unique experience and I think good for kids to get back to nature and it’s dvds only. If they didn’t have their devices they might have a really cool, old school experience. Trampoline, fire pit, different decks. Just have realistic expectations, you can’t expect a new build when you book a farmhouse. I had fun getting the fire going. I’m petrified of magpies but the birds here were friendly. I liked it. Thank you!

Wonderful accomodation. Warm and generous host David made our stay exceptional. Loved everything from the comfort, interior decor and unexpected special touches inside to the much enjoyed patio overlooking the property, all created and managed by David. Big Bertha the lovely friendly cow and her friends were delightful - we loved their company. The hilltop lookout had amazing views over the surrounding areas especially at sunset. A hidden, beautiful gem we plan to revisit.

Beautiful place if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and connect. Pictures and description are accurate. The outside bath was amazing. Jo was the best host, you won’t be disappointed.

In summary, outstanding accomodation in a beautiful location. This would be the best Airbnb we have stayed. The design, comfort and setup, from the kitchen to the bathroom; is five star. We were provided an amazing breakfast selection, bread, croissants, jams and juices, as well as a bottle of wine. Communication was easy. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been applied to making this a great experience. We will definitely stay again.

Great home base for our visit to the area. It was peaceful and had all we needed and more.

This house had everything we needed for 3 friends to have a weekend in the Barossa - the main bathroom was huge and the beds were particularly comfy. It was a great base to walk to restaurants on the main street of Tanunda, and an easy drive to some lovely wineries. The alpacas were a bonus and cute company to have at the side of the yard.

A great quiet spot, close enough to town and far enough away and beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Excellent

Second visit to the best accommodation in the Clare Valley. Beautiful, immaculate, quirky and so well designed. Two massive King bed areas at each end with beautiful ensuites. This place can't be beat!

Home away from home. Has everything you need, plus more, for a perfect stay. Extremely clean & very well maintained. A little further from the beach than stated in the location/description map, but still only a short drive. Absolutely loved my stay and would stay again!!

A beautifully appointed property. Privacy amongst the vines. Was wonderful and was an awesome venue for a small wedding reception, as discussed with the hosts. Monica was extremely helpful and super responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quality place to stay in the McLaren Vale area

This is a Gem! The architectural details and design is first class. Nestled in a lovely valley with some horses and cows as your neighbours it is a perfect getaway.

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s place with my extended family. It was so peaceful and lovely to be out in the country. I’d definitely recommend to people travelling/visiting the area. And Kim was very accommodating and great to communicate with. Thanks again Kim for a lovely stay.

The house is fabulous - we stayed with 8 people (two families of four) and the place was great for this setup. We loved how the house is immersed in nature and thoughtfully decorated and furnished with great taste. The kids had fun playing backyard cricket in the garden; we loved cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, and even saw a few kangooroos from the gorgeous veranda. One of the best Airbnb’s I ever stayed at.

Sal’s place, Nornalup Homestead, is a beautiful home. It is well appointed and spacious. Beautiful surroundings and has a good view over the surrounding countryside. I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area. Sal is an excellent host and kept me informed of things that were happening. Good communication. I will stay here again. Robert.
