We really enjoyed our short stay at the Cottage. We loved that it was a fully detached house surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the mornings we would watch the birds and squirrels with the supplied spotter scope and I would top up the bird feeders. The house was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped - probably the most well-equipped kitchen we've even been to. We will definitely visit again :)

Immaculately clean, lovely place to stay! We were only staying one night much to my 3 year old wanted to stay forever!!

Beautiful cottage everything you need for a few days away. A very nice welcome with milk in the fridge and cookies to have a cuppa when we arrived. Lovely living room Beautiful bedrooms and bedding and a lovely bathroom with a great shower and plenty of hot water. Would go back again .

Hellen was such a star and her kindness added to the home, welcomine feeling of the house. Ideally located 15 mn from Seaham, in a peaceful streets with two little shops nearby if you need anything… And the house is so well equipped, so comfy. A huge thanks, everything was absolutely perfect!

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!

Was a short stay but felt completely at home. Great hosts. Would of loved to stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Salt and Surf to celebrate my mum's birthday in lovely Saltburn. The property is very clean and has all the amenities you could need, and sitting in the window seat watching the sea with the log burner roaring behind was bliss! Thank you for an incredible stay and we will be back.

A tranquil and homely retreat away from the hustle and bustle, with wonderful hosts and a special guest appearance each morning from Penny the gorgeous dog! A great spot to stay for a weekend away, and Judith is a lovely host.

Jackie and John were amazing host's and we thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us for the Easter weekend..comfortable dwelling, located in a gorgeous village. A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

We’ve just had the most relaxing 3 day stay and cannot recommend Fiona’s home highly enough! Beautifully located and furnished with everything we needed. So comfortable in every way. My wife just loved the sheep right outside the window! Lovely touch as well with the home made scones, thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. We were delighted with the hamper of food essentials left for us. The accommodation was superb - spacious, clean, modern. It was just a short walk to the city centre for amenities and attractions. Would recommend! Paul & Clare

Beautifully presented and wonderfully clean! It was a real treat to stay here. Clearly the owner takes great pride in her accommodation and you can tell as soon as you walk in. Proximity to Ripon centre was great, parking safe and outside seating area was lovely too :). Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Lovely flat in small quiet village, containing all you could need for a comfortable stay. Good location for sightseeing, surrounded by nature. Chris is a responsive host and quickly dealt with any questions we had. Location worth staying at

Anne’s place had everything you needed for a short stay , was easy to find with handy parking behind the property . Breakfast was supplied which was a real bonus and milk and tea/ coffee and the beds were comfy . We went into Durham which was only 3-4 miles away and had the best Italian I’ve ever had so all in all a great stay . Thanks Anne . Sarah
