Had a lovely stay here. It was very peaceful by the lake. The house was cosy and comfortable and the deck overlooking the lake was a real sun trap. From start to finish communications with the host and Neil on site was excellent.

The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the pub was excellent, with warm and friendly service.

A comfortable home with three large bedrooms, we had an extremely comfortable stay with our extended family. The facilities on site (pool, gym, etc) are fantastic. The property is well placed for travel around Northern France.

A great experience from booking and throughout. Claudine and David are very friendly and helpful. I felt extremely welcome in their home and it was lovely chatting to Claudine. Great dinner recommendation too. Wish I had been staying longer but I was just passing through on the coast path!

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the location quiet with great views over the lake. Off-street parking. If staying in Room 5 and ordering the Queen bed option, which comprises two singles pushed together, note that the beds do slide apart a little when slept on. Stores and pubs 5 minutes drive away. The local Highland Gathering held in August is great event to witness... Many thanks

We had a lovely few days at Jean's Airbnb. Relaxing, quiet, and great walks on your doorstep. Jean was very kind, always responded quickly to any queries, and was helpful throughout our entire stay. We utilised the information there and used the local cafés and pubs as part of our walks and thankfully, had brilliant weather! Many thanks for having us, David & Katie

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Convenient, comfortable, and a lovely warm welcome from hosts Frances and Colm. Nothing was too much trouble - and the kitchenette with breakfast snacks and drinks was a bonus! A lovely stay and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en couple. Notre hôte a été très accueillant. Le logement correspond à la description et est idéalement situé, aux abords des plans d’eau. Nous recommandons sans problème !

An excellent spot. Really well thought through property, with great communal spaces, and the pod bedroom we were in (Room 1) was fun for our group of four, while still giving us our own private spaces. The breakfast was super, and I loved the design/feel of the whole house. Very cool, clean and welcoming, with unique spaces in a beautiful building. I also loved the honesty fridge, and honesty amenities drawers - very helpful and straightforward. A few minor things which we found a little frustrating: 1. The sensored lights in the bedroom. The lights work on a switch, but also on a motion sensor, which was frustrating, as whenever a member of our party got out of their pod to use the bathroom, the overhead light would come on waking everybody else. 2. The music in communal areas felt a touch loud/unnecessary at times when we were hanging out/chilling in the evening. But these minor quibbles aside, an amazing place! Will definitely be returning, and recommending to others.

I had the most peaceful stay surrounded by idyllic countryside. The lodge had everything I needed for a little cosy escape and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were also very lovely. I would most definitely come back. ☺️

Wir dachten, dass wir in Sandaig ein bisschen Abenteuerurlaub machen. Immerhin kommt man nur mit dem Schiff hin und muss dann noch querfeldein wandern. Es fühlte sich aber an als käme man nach Hause. Bettina und Roland sind super sympathisch, kochen lecker und haben einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bleiben dann länger.

Just had 2 nights at Margaret’s lodge, its was absolutely beautiful I took my 2 little girls and they were in there element. Occasional was for a birthday and arrived to a birthday cake and card such a lovely thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend and already looking to book again!

This is probably my favourite place I've stayed in the UK! Emma was incredibly kind and helpful and the whole experience at the caravan was wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and the caravan is fresh, cosy and has everything you need. If you like being out in nature but don't want the full experience of camping this caravan is the best of both worlds, totally secluded and peaceful location (with no other campers nearby) and all the lovely amenities of a home. It felt totally safe, very peaceful and the Hayle beach is very beautiful. Hayle is quieter town, much more down to earth and less touristy than nearby st ives, with some great pubs, cafes and nice places to eat. We didn't drive and everything we needed was walking or bus distance. I hope to come back one day!

Si vous avez un animal de compagnie, ne cherchez rien d'autre : c'est l'endroit idéal. De part la grandeur du jardin (clôturé), l'environnement extérieur (il y a différentes promenades dans les bois juste à l'arrière de la maison). Mais encore l'amabilité, la disponibilité de l'hôte Géraldine et de son fils Antoine qui sont tout bonnement formidables. Le rapport qualité/prix (petit déjeuner inclus) est incomparable. Merci pour ce séjour. Bravo !

Wonderful, modern and clean home. Lovely touches like biscuits and tea/coffee bags and the toiletries are amazing! The place is spotless. Very good communication, can't fault them at all. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone. 5 mins to drive into Skegness. Could probably walk it in under half an hour....we just didn't have the weather.

It was perfect for our weekend away, I have to admit after booking and realising it was on a Park Dean resort we were a bit apprehensive after a past experience. But I have to say it was a fantastic site, all staff that we had contact with were friendly and helpful. To top it all the caravan was perfect, really cosy, great balcony to sit outside on. We hopefully will be coming to stay again. As Cayton bay and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Just a shame we didn’t get better weather. But still had a great weekend away. Our son described it as the best place ever!
