Renta de chalets vacaconales en Great Rift Valley

Julie’s place is amazing. It’s extremely atmospheric and full of charm and character. It’s very classic. It’s beautiful. We saw the big troop of monkeys twice and enjoyed the bird life. The night stars are beautiful. Thanks to Langat for setting us up with two amazing campfires. The poolside and campfire area is incredible. My suggestion to the next visitor is to know how you’re getting your first meal if you arrive after a long flight (I’m sure Julie’s team can help with this during the pre-stay chit chat).

We stayed two nights at the chalet to go birding in the Lake Baringo area. Safe and tranquil spot with lots of birds, including a hornbill that visited our house both mornings that we were there. Kitchen is well-equipped but keep in mind that in Kenya it is common to have refrigerators unplugged until guests arrive so maybe don’t bring a ton of items that need to be refrigerated (we brought some and it was fine but we didn’t load up the fridge). The host would probably be happy to plug in the fridge if you communicate in advance that you will need it right away. The chalet was very clean, but living in the desert there will always be insects so be prepared for a couple harmless common wall spiders and a couple of their friends. There were mosquito nets for both beds. WiFi was excellent. Hot showers! The hosts will offer to arrange tours for you when you arrive which is nice but we politely declined this time. All in all the chalet was a great place for a self-drive birding stop.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the 3 chalets over the Christmas holidays with friends. The chalets were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, set in a quiet and stunning location that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the holiday spirit. A special shoutout to Eva for her exceptional support throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend these chalets to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning for another memorable trip!

Future Guests: PLEASE BE ADVISED! Like in many countries in Africa, there are periods where there is no electricity. This is very much the case on the island of Zanzibar. Please don't complain about it. There is nothing that can be done. I brought four candles with me and used two. With that out of the way, let me tell you how amazing this place is! I had a wonderful time at Dullah's. My little place was comfy and enough for my time in Zanzibar. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk. When you get to the beach. Along the way you will see many bars and shops. The place was clean and I was very comfortable, IT's HOT! I highly recommend having fresh sugar cane juice with ginger and lemon. It is so refreshing, you will love it. The mangos are superb and the pineapple very delicious. I'm from Spain so I wasn't a big fan of the oranges because the ones in Spain are better. LOL. Book this place! I know I will return for sure. Asante! Enjoy your time in Zanzibar ❤️

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est sublime. L'environnement est magique. Tout est très bien pensé et paisible. L'hôte est très réactif et amical. Un immense merci à lui ainsi qu'à son équipe merveilleuse. On reviendra!

Thomas estuvo muy atento desde el principio. Respondió a todas mis preguntas y buscaba darme recomendaciones adicionales. Sam, el Chico que ayuda en el lugar, también fue muy amable y nos puso fogata todas las noches. La vista al Kilimanjaro es ESPECTACULAR. Está algo lejos de la entrada del parque pero vale la pena por la tranquilidad que tienes en el hospedaje y la consideración del costo-calidad. El lugar es sencillo pero tienes todo lo que necesitas, incluida una zona común con alberca. Es muy acogedor. Me volvería a quedar ahí sin dudarlo.

This Airbnb was perfect for a getaway from Dar. It is far enough out to feel like you have traveled (but not too far to feel you can’t afford the travel expense). The rooms are so beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new for a quaint, beach feel. The kitchen… oh I will dream of this kitchen for the rest of my life! The staff was helpful and kind. The communication was quick and clear. Need to get away but don’t want to go too far… this is the place for you!
