Gorgeous views, great location, the hot water was actually hot (unlike other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in), the hot tub was ready to go, the host left us snacks. It was just such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back. If I had to pick ANY cons, I’d be really reaching. You are one of four yurts (we didn’t realize we would have “neighbors” but it’s set up in such a way that you still have privacy.). Also, you are close to the road so occasionally you will hear cars, but the sound of the river much overpowers that. Plan for no reception; we were fine with that. We plan to come back again with 2 more couples. I will definitely miss falling asleep to the sound of the river Now, what I wish I would have known as a car geek - we accidentally went through Tail of the Dragon on the way there. Had no idea it was here. Was sad to have a big ole SUV riding that instead of my sports car! Plan accordingly. :)

Absolutely loved our stay here and can't stop talking about it! The location worked great for us to enjoy a day in Knoxville and The Great Smoky Mountains. We also enjoyed a quiet and peaceful day! If bugs freak you out, this may not be your place. We didn't experience them in the yurt, but you do come across them with the bathroom and outdoor kitchen set up. However, if you can accept being one with bugs, you won't regret the beautiful shower set up! I am sure we will be staying here again in the future :)

We booked our wedding at Mountain Fiesta and had an amazing experience. Brenda and Mo were incredibly helpful before and during our wedding. We received countless remarks on the venue's stunning views and the donkey, Jack, was everyone's favorite guest. We highly recommend Mountain Fiesta for your wedding!

Communication was great and the folks at Seven Springs were wonderful to interact with. We appreciated a quiet refuge to escape to and their great local recommendations for hiking and beverages.

This was my third (of many more to come) stay at the Heart Center - and specifically in one of the Mongolian yurts. It is just what you're hoping for and more. Liz is an amazing host and makes sure your stay is comfortable and peaceful. Evenings by the main fire pit on the shared level are a great way to recount the events of the day and make plans for the next -- all under the gorgeous, starry skies of western NC!

Guests will experience a quiet and very well kept grounds. You may even see an elk wandering around, we did and got some great pictures. I will definitely book again. Next time I would love to try a yurt.

What a unique experience! The Honeymoon Hideaway was just what my husband and I needed to celebrate his birthday! The place was so cute and had everything that we needed. Chasity was super responsive to any questions that we had and helpful with recommendations in the area. The yurt is in a great location and close to so many fun places to visit. We look forward to returning in the future!

My husband and I LOVED this YURT! It was our first time staying in one and we are so glad we did! It was so cute! It was very clean and inviting, we decided to cook at the yurt and didn't want to leave so we just enjoyed the quiet of just us, it was be best sleep we have gotten in a long time! We enjoyed our stay and will for sure be coming back!!

We go to Bryson City 1-2 times per year and this has by far been the best place we have stayed at yet! Very peaceful and private and well worth the money! We will be back soon! Five star rating in every aspect!

Roamstead was an absolutely magical experience for our family. I booked the stream-side yurt without telling my husband and two young boys that's where we were staying. We are avid campers, but we were on our way across the country, not intending to camp. They were so excited once they saw it.This place is stunningly beautiful and peaceful, seated by a creek and at the edge of the Smokey Mountains National Park. After-hours check-in was a breeze. Even though the listing says there is not a door lock, the doors have hotel-key style locks, which is awesome. The front desk left our keys and an easy map. It's well-lit at night. The bathrooms are just across the driveway from the yurt and they are NICE. Inside the yurt I was expecting summer camp-style uncomfortable beds, but both the Queen bed and the bunk beds were very comfortable. The ability to walk 3 minutes to the lodge and order hot breakfast, then hike a trail without having to drive anywhere... I highly recommend this experience.

Leading up to our trip Chasity was communicative and very informative on what to expect on our trip. The yurt was beautiful and spotless! Not always the case with pet friendly rentals but this yurt was beautifully furnished! We had our two dogs with us and there is plenty of space to walk them around and enjoy the views. The location was quiet, peaceful, and very beautiful. The yurt was cozy, warm and had every amenity that you would need. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Maggie Valley!

We loved our stay at the big blue yurt! It is cozy and homey inside. Comfy beds, a fireplace, great water pressure in the shower, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our two night stay a great experience. We loved hearing the cows across the road, and all of the other wildlife around the property at night. We weren’t always sure what we were hearing (lol!) but we did find elk tracks beside and around the back of the yurt on the first morning. Check in and check out we’re both easy and hassle free, and our host, Chastity, was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

My husband, myself and another couple stayed at Jeanetta’ yurt. It was a u pique experience. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. The hot tub was running, heated and ready for use. There are hiking trails available nearby. The location is wooded and peaceful and close to Cherokee. We plan to book lodging with Jeanetta again!

We love Roamstead! We'll be back again when hiking in the area. The location is ideal for hiking in the Smoky Mtns. or if you just want to relax on site. They have everything you need in one place.

We absolutely loved this little Yurt! It was perfect for our one night adventure. The place was super clean and cozy. Can’t wait to stay again one day! The bed is super comfortable along with an outstanding shower!

Our 2 night stay at the Tuckaseegee yurt was great! Easy check-in & entry. Bed was comfortable and heat units kept us nice and warm even when it was 30°F outside!i The hardwood floors are beautiful as is the bathroom. We were glad we brought spring water for drinking as the water had a sulfer smell. Next time we'll know to bring ice cube trays or ice with us as well. We spent time in the National Park, Cherokee, Bryson City, and hiked a few trails. We would absolutely stay at the Tuckaseegee at Sky Ridge Yurts again!

A real gem. The property is beautiful. We were there during the cold winter and the wood heater and other heaters were very cozy. Close to hiking trails too
