We thoroughly enjoyed our homes and would be more than happy to stay here again. We enjoyed the farmhouse and annex with our family of 8 adults and three children. Both, but especially the farmhouse, were well stocked and equipped. The homes were very clean and spacious and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. We had a nice walk through the forest to Hall Park and then food on the high street (6 mins walk to nice selection of places)- so a really well located place.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Big Barn - we travelled as a group of four families with 9 children between us and it was the perfect size for us all to be comfortable - the kids loved the huge dorm room where they could all sleep in the same space together and the grounds were lovely to explore during the day time. The barn was a big highlight, the kids loved having a roller disco in there in the evenings and we also set up the projector and screen for a movie night. Beds were comfy and the kitchens were well equipped. It has a very lived in feel, but was very clean and felt like a home from home while we were there! Jessie was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Many thanks for a great stay!

It was a nice little place tucked away on a farm. Found it okay with the use of google maps. Its in a rural area, so expect muddy country lanes. The living space was clean and comfortable, if a little chilly (we went during a cold period in February) The host was away during our stay, but everything was prepared for us and there were no issues other than the hot water turning off when we returned late one evening. We wasnt aware it was on a timed system, but once we figured it, everything was fine. The area is pretty peaceful and there's a lot of places to walk nearby. We saw plenty of wildlife despite it being the middle of winter. It's reasonably priced and we'll likely stay again in the future.

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Lovely cottage in really beautiful surroundings - lots of walks directly from the cottage and easy to get to nearby towns and National Trust properties. Colette was so helpful before and during our stay, providing really detailed directions to get there knowing that the M25 had issues.

I came to London for a work trip and booked this place for a month (i would’ve booked the place for the entire 3 months if it were available!) It felt like home right away when my partner and I checked in —quiet, cozy, and impeccably clean. The house is lovely, and the location is fantastic, right next to the Vauxhall train/tube station, making it super convenient for getting around and to work. Communication with the hosts Jodie/Catie/Ali was easy and smooth from start to finish. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s a townhouse with stairs, so if you have large luggage, it might take some extra effort. Overall, a wonderful stay! Thanks again for opening up your lovely home to us!

We had a wonderful stay in Kim's Shepherd's Hut. It was warm, well supplied and well laid out, making it feel perfectly spacious yet cosy. It is exactly as seen in the photos. The surrounding area is filled with wonderful country drives and scenic places, allowing us to escape the city and enjoy nature. Kim was helpful, friendly and responsive throughout, and even allowed my son feel to help feed the farm animals. We spotted a deer and several pheasants as well. We would happily return for another stay.

Large living room, bedroom with two large beds and a kitchen very well stocked with utensils, cutlery and crockery and all usual white goods. Danielle had left us a welcome pack with wine and biscuits which was a lovely touch. The lounge was very comfortably furnished and decorated in an unusual rustic and homely style. Easy parking and surrounded by beautiful countryside. We only used it as a base for a family function so didn’t visit any of the local facilities. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend. The house was perfect for us. Location for us was great and it was lovely and private. The en-suites in each room made a very comfortable experience for us, our daughter and my son,daughter-in-law with their 6month old baby. Would definitely book again. Thank you

We had an enchanting stay at this festive cottage in Essex! The cozy ambiance truly captured the holiday spirit, making our experience magical. The cottage was smaller than we expected and the ceiling in the living room was very low, however, what it lacked in space it was made up in the charming character of the cottage. The host's attentiveness added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. From thoughtful touches to prompt communication. If you're seeking a charming and festive retreat with a host who cares about your experience, this cottage in Essex is a good choice.

This was my second stay at Christine & Mark’s gorgeous lodge. I was attending a course locally and it was blissful to come back to this cosy and comfortable retreat. I arrived late and Christine & Mark had taken the trouble to make sure the Lodge was warm and well-lit for my arrival. Everything I needed was close by but the log burner, comfy sofa and bed meant it was hard to leave! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Christine’s place! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was great, and communication was smooth throughout. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!
