This is a truly magical space. Our group of friends created forever memories over our annual weekend gathering this year. Words and pictures don’t do it justice. The chorus of the frogs from the cedar tub was fantastic. Thank Mathew!!

Really enjoyed! Everything was perfect... we will stay here again if ever back in the area. peaceful and relaxing setting... just what we were after. cozy and homie with amenities provided. 5 stars!

Such a beautiful stay. Great space to hang out and the hot tub was a fantastic bonus. Watching whales with morning coffee made it a perfect morning. Would definitely recommend for this area.

The decor and atmosphere of the cabin was so artsy and fun, and the hosts were kind and helpful. The cabin was super cozy and had just enough amenities—a huge step above camping but charming and grounded in the natural environment. It was a perfect spot to spend extended time in, or to unwind at the end of a long day exploring.

This is a gorgeous location with a wonderful view of the water! Super cozy furniture and high quality finishes. Joyce was super responsive and allowed a very late check in. Very grateful she opened up her home for us and we could not be more grateful it was pet friendly. Highly recommend a weekend getaway here!

10/10. Beautiful woods getaway, and like others have said, much bigger than expected. Super comfy bed, great down pillows and comforters, and caring little touches around the cabin. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of love into this place, and it went a long way to make it feel like home. I loved sitting by the fireplace in the rocking chair reading, with the morning light coming through the windows. There are a lot of windows so it’s drafty - definitely bring layers, and plan to keep a fire going (that means lots of wood!). But it’s warmer up in the loft where the bed is, so sleeping w the warm bedding was cozy. The cooking setup is great, propane is supplied, and plenty of cookware and dishes. Lots of spices, just needed to bring olive oil. The “sink” is a metal tub built into the counter with a catch bucket underneath - worked great. The hottubs are BEAUTIFUL - it took a long time to get it hot and a lot of charcoal, so definitely heed the instructions to tend it vigilantly!

My girls and I needed a place to stay in the Bothell area near my other daughter’s apartment. We arrived around 9pm and Nina was quick to give as a tour of our accommodations so we could settle in. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home. This space was perfect for what we needed, easy to find and the parking was right in front of her home.

Great stay on Whidbey! It was a very cozy vibe in the house and beautiful views of the lake in the bedrooms and living room. The neighboring houses are pretty spread out and it feels very private looking out towards the lake. The hot tub and fire pit were great to enjoy in the winter. The house was also very well equipped with heating options, it was very warm with the propane stove in the mornings! Patti was very responsive and flexible with our check in. We would definitely stay here again!

Super peaceful place to stay. Becky provides great instructions and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The bed was very comfy and the entire place is very clean. The front porch with the view of the water and beautiful lawn was great. Highly recommend!

Great getaway home. Very quiet and perfect for small group.

We had a wonderful stay at the farm cottage. CarolLynn was a lovely host and shared sweet stories about the farm animals. My young boys were delighted by the animals. The farm fresh eggs were such a great and much appreciated touch. This was the perfect place for our family to unplug and decompress from city life. Nature and animals are medicine.

Everything about the place was the definition of a cozy cabin! Beautifully remodeled bathroom! Shower was perfect! I do wish the listing had mentioned that the wood burning stove wasn’t working because it was the reason we chose this spot. Hopefully it will be working next time we come stay! Thank you David!!

Kristin was very proactive with instructions for entry and how best to communicate with her so that she could be most responsive to us. The place was charming and held my dear family and pet close in comfort. I especially love the thoughtfulness of having toys available for my littlest (3y) as well as games for us older ones. After all, I’m glad there isn’t a TV available. The wood stove and high ceilings meant we should be gathered together in warmth with our voices and laughter filling the space to get our dopamine fix. We were also glad to be treated to complementary teas and fixings. Such a silent night compared to the sirens and traffic in Tacoma. We found the shower head function options in the lower level to be novel. It was nice to sit as a family at the table (reminds me that we need to fix our at home seating arrangements). Maybe updated natural cooking utensils and a deep dusting would make things perfect (I performed an extraction of dust from the hairdryer to contribute).

My partner and I stayed with our two dogs at Craig's place for about 6 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We absolutely loved the stay and the views are incredible. There was plenty of space for us to host holidays and have family stay with us. We even got to cut down a Christmas tree from the farm to decorate! We both worked from the house and had zero issues with internet. Would highly recommend the stay. Pros: -spacious -plenty of seating -comfortable bed -gorgeous views -great access to Deception Pass and rest of Whidbey -good internet speeds Cons: -one main bath with tub that is difficult to step into for limited mobility folks -low water pressure -planes flying overhead can be very noisy if on work meetings/calls

We had a great stay. Mimi was very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot to offer for a family—fenced yard, chickens, fish, and even an outdoor shower. The beach was easy to access and it was a beautiful spot. Our kids especially loved feeding the deer!

Our stay at Marlyn's place was the perfect little getaway. It had beautiful water views and felt very private. The walk to the beach did not take long. The space was charming and comfortable. Her place had everything we needed for our family of three and our dog. Would recommend!

Great place to stay and is very peaceful away from all the city noise and ruckus. This was my first time booking and trying an airbnb and the hosts definitely made it much easier to understand what to do and how everything works with this system as their instructions for check in and rules were clear and they were available to help and were very friendly

The condo was great in every way for our visit and for our purposes. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the large dining table (instead of the common, but ridiculous Air BnB bistro table that barely accommodates one person), and the good quality linens. Joyce was a great communicator until we checked-out, then I never heard from her again and was hoping to get a response to my messages. Joyce was able to coach me through the TV and DVD player's connections and was able to troubleshoot from afar. This was impressive! This property won't be available for long as it is being sold. That's too bad as we would love to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend Joyce as a property manager.

Kivaans place was perfect for what we were looking for. A place to stay the night while exploring the Olympic peninsula. It was super clean. It is part of a Wyndham resort so it felt more like a hotel, which was great!

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful and comfortable house. We had 7 (family of 5 plus 2 grandparents) and there was plenty of room to spread out - but best of all was the beautiful space to be together with a view of the water and mountains. The kids loved watching birds on the sea out one side and ducks on the pond out the other. It being January, we were able to see both sunrise and sunset out the expansive windows. The living room had plenty of seating and a great table for playing board games. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of supplies. Dad & kids walked down to the beach on our 2nd evening and had a good time throwing rocks in the water! The quilts and other decorations make the place feel warm and homey. Lara was responsive when we had a brief issue at check-in and it was resolved within 10 minutes. We hope to be back someday!

Kivaan’s place was absolutely perfect for a 3-day get-away with friends from out of town. The layout is perfect, the view is magical and we would stay there again without hesitation.

We loved our stay at this location. The views are spectacular, including the water, the mountains, the eagles soaring by and one humpback whale! The kitchen includes everything you could possibly want or need--even knives that are sharp! The bedrooms are comfortable as are the common areas. The pool was a major high point for all of us, and the house comes with lots of other fun toys for indoors and out. We plan to return!

My wife and I were in town for NASWI’s VQ-1 decommissioning event. Peter and Julie’s home far exceeded our expectations. Their home was in like-new condition. Everything was considered when they outfitted their home for guests. In fact, every member of the family was thoughtfully considered. The furnishings were not “apartment” furniture, but just as you would see in your own home. The kitchen had considered everything you might need meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms and laundry room all had every feature you would need. They also considered children’s toys, board games, beach comber tools, muck boots, kayaks for in-season paddling. I can truly say that this guest home was equipped far greater than any other BnB my wife and I have visited. Julie was the perfect hostess. Always promptly responsive, she answered all of our questions. Her recommendations made for excellent outings in the local area. My wife and I felt “at home” the minute we arrived, until our departure.

After a big challenge with a different short term rental company Lorie’s place was a last minute “save the family Christmas weekend” option and it turned out great. Lorie let us book same day and was very responsive. The place was beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us.
