We had a wonderful time here. The cabin was larger than expected. We appreciated the stairs going to the loft were easy and sage feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfy. The cabin stayed so warm. Gas fireplace was easy to use and warmed up the cabin. Felt very home like. The enclosed back porch was great for our dogs to hangout with us while enjoying the hot tub from a few straps away. Front and back porch were covered and kept us dry while we enjoyed the amenities during the rain. Bathroom was spacious, shower had great pressure and maintained hot water. We appreciated the well kept grounds and the feeling of seclusion from other cabins. 20 mins from the NP and great food spots. Would love to come back

It’s a perfect place for a vacation of hiking and rafting. We used it as a respite on the halfway point heading home from a southern vacation. It was comfortable, super clean and a supremely well equipped kitchen. There’s a nice neighborhood bar and grill a stones throw away.

Such a lovely place! Gorgeous interior and so comfy! We loved the little swing out front and the surrounding trees gave the place a sweet, tucked away feeling. The bed was so comfortable and the shower nice and hot. We loved the gas logs too, they made our down time feel special. It was a little too chilly to use the fire pit but we hope to come back another time and take advantage of that. We were able to easily walk downtown to several places. We had a lovely stay.

We have stayed in La Bonita twice now and have loved the small town vibes! Great place with great local people.

Susan was an absolutely fantastic host! She was incredibly communicative throughout our entire stay and offered some wonderful local suggestions that made our trip even more enjoyable. We appreciated her kindness so much! The town of Richwood is absolutely adorable and perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. The house itself was cozy and inviting, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds after a long day of sightseeing. We also loved that the yard was fenced in, giving our dog plenty of room to run around and play. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay in Richwood!

Was a quaint old home, peaceful with a beautiful view. We had family over for a birthday party and took advantage of the fire pit and grill. Joyce even helped us out when we were in need of a large cooking pot to do our seafood boil. Joyce was very friendly and available when needed.

Thank you so much, Autumn! We had the best time in your cute cabin for our family Christmas vacation. You were so helpful and kind. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a home away from home feel with excellent hosts. If we’re ever back in WV we would definitely stay again.

Michael's home was better than the photos - bigger than expected. There was lots to do from the New River Gorge National Park to sightseeing around Summerville. We were there in February with lots of snow. I was glad to have an all-wheel drive car. The creek that ran through the property provided lots of entertainment for our 5 yr old grandson. I highly recommend this home for a large family get-together.

Booked Jessica’s cabin with another couple for Bridge Day 2024. It really was perfect in every way — lovely setting, excellent location, immaculately clean. Lots of privacy for both of us couples. Anything we could possibly need was already there, from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the grill area on the deck. Super comfortable beds, nice linens… I just can’t say enough about this great home. It’s located on a busy highway but it was never an issue. There is a fantastic deck out back as well, private, with comfortable places to eat or visit and a nice Blackstone — plus a supply of citronella candles, etc. Like I said, all needs were met and then some. We plan to revisit next time we come for Bridge Day!
