Wow! Absolutely loved the location and escape from reality! Beautiful home and grounds. We were able to catch trout right outback, roast smores and hike to all the waterfalls in the area. Highly recommend staying here if you love the outdoors!

Super awesome place, private and out of the way, yet only 20 min or so from a Walmart etc. beautiful home, great for family vacation! Right on the lake, sadly the weather wasn’t up to par so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake part too much. We enjoyed our experience! There were a few minor things like no lock on one restroom, locks on lower bathroom didn’t work, and door was missing for lower shower lol. Make sure your with people you know, it didn’t bother us, we let Alex know and I’m sure he’ll have those thing fixed for the next guest! This is DEFINITELY WORTH IT!! Thank you Alex for the great new years vacation stay!!

First off, the views here are unbelievable. As it is at the end of the street, they have so much open land behind their property - very private and peaceful. The area in general is rural so you basically cannot see anybody else homes. The space is the bottom level of the house, akin to a guest suite and has a private entrance. A powder room style bathroom is attached and for shower and jacuzzi there is a full bathroom that is only for the guests upstairs. They are on a well for water which I appreciated. Gary and Amanda are down to earth, chill young professionals, I barely ever heard them during my stay. They have a couple cats and a dog who were all sweet that I got to meet, too. It’s an old-style home and there is a wood burning stove for heat. Gary was sure to keep the place stocked with ample wood and kindling to stay warm during the cold nights. The flat screen has a bunch of subscriptions for streaming apps and they have a comfy leather 2-seater recliner . 5/5

This home was amazing!!!! The host was very good with communicating. I was very impressed with how clean it was and the kitchen had everything we needed!!! The home its self was incredible everything we wanted plus some!! The decor and layout really made it feel like home. The views were gorgeous!! My daughter woke up the first morning and said it was the most beautiful sunrise she’s ever seen! The home faces so you can watch the sunrise over the mountains from the porches and windows. Best way to start our days! The layout aloud for us all to have our own space. My girls loved having their own rooms and floor to themselves upstairs. Their rooms were huge! The master suit was amazing!!! The tub in the master bath was huge, clean and the perfect way to end a long fun day!!!! We would highly recommend this home and host!!

Wow! What a beautiful home and property! We spent the weekend catching up with friends, cooking delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. It was the most “homey” of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! I was especially impressed by how clean everything was and how thoughtfully stocked the space was. From the variety of kitchen supplies to a pour-over coffee setup, and even extra towels for the hot tub, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Holly was hands-down the most proactive and responsive host I’ve ever encountered, making the experience seamless from booking to checkout. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I’m already dreaming about when we’ll return. Thank you, Holly, for sharing such a beautiful home and experience!

From the super nice hosts, to the central to everything location, to the professionally decorated cabin this place just rocks. You can be a tourist for the day and retreat here to sit on the deck with your favorite person and beverage for a relaxing evening. From the scenic mountains that border the cabin to the serene pasture land this cabin has it all. This was our second trip and I can say there is no better place to stay in East Tennessee. Looking forward to our next trip

This place was cute and as described. It is very secluded; we didn’t see anyone the entire trip. We didn’t mind it, but it’s far from everything and no cell service until you get into town. We loved being tranquil and in a true mountain town. We loved the wildlife and creek, and the entire area is so beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the creek at night. The only thing that could have made it better is if it snowed. Thanks for the stay!

We had a great holiday stay at the cozy cabin in the woods! It’s even more adorable and decorative than I imagined from the photos. We really liked that the rooms are on separate levels so everyone had some space. Also, you’re on your own private drive, truly a little wooded sanctuary. Pro tip: turn on the hot tub asap once you arrive because it will take quite a while to fully heat up in the cold. We weren’t really able to enjoy until our third day. Also, it was such a quick drive to Asheville and a few of the surrounding areas. Everyone was so happy to see out-of-towners after the storm. Everywhere lets you take your dog inside! The cabin was very easy to have a dog at. They left special linens you could put over a few of the furniture pieces, but our 4 legged family felt welcome. Loved this cabin and would stay again in a heartbeat!
