This cabin was the perfect escape from everyday life. My husband & I had the best time ever. They had games, movies, trails to walk, & the best thing was the hot tub. The area was awesome with mountains surrounding you & some breathtaking views. It was easy to find thanks to Lee's instructions. We enjoyed reading the guest book & made sure we signed it too. We are definitely going back again!! This was the best trip ive been on in quite a while and the 1st thing you see when youre pulling in the driveway is this magnificent tree right in the middle of your view. Loved how private it was & watching the stars in the sky as we laid back soaking in the hot tub. I could not have asked for a better host, cabin, or experience. Lee was the best host ive dealt with. I highly recommend going if you get the chance! I cant wait to go back. We even seen several deer as we would be leaving and coming back from visiting the local town. Best decision ive made in a while.

Wow! What a beautiful home and property! We spent the weekend catching up with friends, cooking delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. It was the most “homey” of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! I was especially impressed by how clean everything was and how thoughtfully stocked the space was. From the variety of kitchen supplies to a pour-over coffee setup, and even extra towels for the hot tub, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Holly was hands-down the most proactive and responsive host I’ve ever encountered, making the experience seamless from booking to checkout. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I’m already dreaming about when we’ll return. Thank you, Holly, for sharing such a beautiful home and experience!

As a first time off-grid experience, I can’t say enough great things about this cabin! My husband and I were a little anxious but as soon as we arrived, all of those worries melted away. The location is easy to find with their detailed instructions and so secluded that you won’t hear any sounds except nature. We often checked the solar battery to be sure we weren’t overusing energy and ran the generator so at night as instructed (which was very simple). We used the most water washing dishes due to cooking each night but never ran out of water during our stay. We enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing on the back porch the most. It’s the perfect getaway to unplug and spend quality time! Side note: the WiFi did not work during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and inform us they contacted the service provider (even though they were on vacation). We had cell service while in the cabin and this didn’t affect our experience at all since the goal was to enjoy our surroundings

Wow! An amazing wedding at Paint Rock Farm and Ken and Amy’s place was .04 mile down the road. Loved our quiet cabin up on the mountain. First trip up the tight driveway was tense but after a couple runs it was easy-peasy! Loved hanging out back and enjoying the stars! Really attentive hosts! Wonderful lodging well worth the price! Beautiful setting by the pond, beautifully decorated and very clean, with plenty of towels, very comfortable beds, great sitting area, stocked kitchen, and even freshly baked muffins on our arrival! Eva checked in with us by message a couple of times and was quickly responsive. Perfect for the four of us ladies visiting relatives, with room to spread out a little. Couldn't ask for more!

Michael’s house was a wonderful find. From the cleanliness and comfy feeling to the beautiful front porch and back yard. You feel right at home. Personally loved the modern look in the country cabin vibe. Amenities were just how described. With a well stocked kitchen. The pack and play. The highchair. The spacious bedrooms. Clean bathrooms. Michael’s place had everything you would need for your stay. Really a home away from home. The hosts were extremely responsive. Positive and diligent to make sure any needs we needed were met. I look forward to staying again. Cheers!

We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. There were so many little touches that were specifically left for us and for Valentine’s Day. We absolutely loved our stay!

Our stay was magical. We will book again! From a practical standpoint- the cabin had everything we needed to cook (in gorgeous and sparkly purple cookware), was warm and cozy (with explicit notes on how to make sure we stayed that way through the cold snap during our visit), was isolated without cell service (which we wanted all along and a big reason why we booked the cabin), the satellite wi-fi worked great and there was a great collection of DVDs just in case it didn’t, and the yard was fantastic, pretty, and if it hadn’t been raining we would have built campfires. The humor of the cabin’s hangings was also very much appreciated! The only challenging part was how quickly the water heater went past its capacity, though this was clearly explained in the Cabin Guidelines, along with tips on how to make sure you have enough hot water to enjoy a bath in the claw-foot tub. Another tip to prevent running out of hot water is to turn off the water while you sudz up!

Super awesome place, private and out of the way, yet only 20 min or so from a Walmart etc. beautiful home, great for family vacation! Right on the lake, sadly the weather wasn’t up to par so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake part too much. We enjoyed our experience! There were a few minor things like no lock on one restroom, locks on lower bathroom didn’t work, and door was missing for lower shower lol. Make sure your with people you know, it didn’t bother us, we let Alex know and I’m sure he’ll have those thing fixed for the next guest! This is DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!
