We really appreciate you sharing your cabin with us even if it was only for a few nights. Amazing size place for a couple to have a great stay. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the nature all around us. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Walked around the property and down to the river as well. Very peaceful. The space offered everything we needed and then some. I would love to come back to spend more time if the opportunity presented itself. The owners or managers were very receptive to letting us check in early as long as the opportunity was available. Emailed and heard right back. You are missing out if you don’t spend time at this location!

The Crooked Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The surrounding scenery was majestic and the attention to detail inside the cabin was a wonderful addition. It was a beautiful, little cabin that provided us with everything we needed. We wanted a place to getaway for our anniversary and left recharged and excited to return one day. Mollie and Greg are wonderful hosts who clearly love what they do. We couldn't recommend the Crooked Cabin more highly!

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

My family had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. Despite cold, rainy weather, we had such a good time relaxing indoors, staying warm by the fireplace on the porch, watching movies, and enjoying the lake view. We appreciated many of the local recommendations for coffee and food. And even took some time for pottery shopping. Our dog had a great getaway too. Good size for a small family with plenty of outdoor toys for all ages. We want to return in the warmer weather!

Everything was good. The hosts were helpful, responsive and there was lots to do near us, restaurants and the ski resort!

Shana’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was private on a great piece of land. There were fun games in the basement that we really enjoyed. The space was warm and cozy and was beautifully appointed, even down to the quality towels. There were many amenities that made us feel right at home. The 30 minutes drive to Charlottesville was easy

What an absolutely gorgeous cabin on a stunning piece of property! It was the best place to get away from busy city life and appreciate nature with luxury amenities (hot tub, game room, big tvs, sound bar, electric fireplace heaters, nice appliances). It is adorned with new & beautiful wood throughout. All furniture is in great condition with plenty of pillows and cozy blankets. The kitchen was nicely stocked with non-perishable items (salts, spices, baking soda, honey sticks, etc). If you plan on baking or cooking, there is plenty of bakeware, utensils, pot holders, grill-ware, pots/pans, even a crock-pot! I do recommend bringing essentials b/c the closest stores are about 20 minutes away. We were lucky enough to get some snow before we arrived, which made the experience even more fulfilling. The snow blanketed the area making it so peaceful ..& trying to decipher the different animal tracks on the snow kept us guessing!! Make time for nearby Luray & Massanutten!! THE BEST TIME!🤩

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay a Christopher’s place. The house is big with an open floor concept that allows you to easily spend time with family. The game room was a big hit with everyone. The driveway is very long and steep, but it’s worth the views at the top. Christopher was a great host that quickly responded to messages. We would recommend to anyone looking for a house in the area.

Beautiful cabin, feels remote but also close to Shenendoah and plenty of restaurants. It was a perfect escape for a weekend getaway, highly recommended!

This peaceful cabin in the woods was the perfect place to disconnect and relax in nature. If you're coming from a big city, prepare to be amazed by the incredible stargazing, thanks to the lack of light pollution! Be sure to bring plenty of groceries, as everything is at least a 35-minute drive away. For those interested in visiting the Shanendoa national park, this location is ideal, with only a 15-20 minute drive to the entrance. The cabin itself was very comfortable, cozy, and has a well-equipped kitchen. I recommend having an AWD car to get up the gravel road to the cabin. The only minor issue was that one neighbor had signs on their property stating 'AB&B not welcome.' However, we were never bothered and never even saw any neighbors. Obviously, the host can't control this, and it didn't detract from our overall experience. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway.

Awesome stay!!! Beautiful surroundings! We had an all wheel drive car, and had some rain (muddy roads mid-way) but no problems getting up to the house. However if ice or snow would likely be safer in 4-wheel drive. The pavement on last part of road was a relief to see!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Jessie was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the visit, proactively communicating and responding quickly to questions. We'd be happy to return. Highly recommended!

It was so pet and kid friendly. Felt just right at home for a small vacation weekend. Everyone loved it!

Had a great and peaceful time!

My 3 friends and I had an amazing time at this airbnb!! We can hands-down say we had one of the best days of our lives :) The cabin is the perfect size for a small group of people and we had everything we needed (linens, pillows, blankets, 2 fireplaces, a hot tub, private back area, beautiful view, entertainment, etc.). The outdoor string lights on the deck do automatically turn on when it gets dark as a note* Also, we were told a 4WD/AWD was necessary to access the driveway which is something to take note of!! We took a FWD and did not realize the road to get up the mountain would be so steep with gravel/sharp turns. While we did make it up, it was a bit scary at times and would also recommend the proper terrain vehicle. The GPS did get us there, but a few wooden signs put up by neighbors at the bottom of the mountain made us second-guess ourselves (just trust the road). From Massanutten, it was more of a 20-25 minute drive. All in all, we 100% recommended this airbnb and will return!

My family of four and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was a 20 min drive to Massanutten snow resort which was a reason we choose this area to be close but wanted a peaceful stay not a crowded resort. Tina was very kind and responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. It was a great weekend all around!

Definitely enjoyed our time away in the woods. Cabin was great. Hot tub was awesome!!

These adorable cottages offer a tranquil escape in the Virginia countryside. The pool was a perfect oasis, and we loved having it all to ourselves. We were thrilled to find out about the direct booking option. Looking forward to our next visit!

Every year we go we remember why we return, the tranquility and relaxation everything is in that place, some time we back 2 or 3 time at year
