Exceeded expectations! It was a clean, comfortable, well-equipped little cabin in the woods. The location is private and serene and still 15 minutes from the town center to easily have dinner, get provisions, and enjoy the area. Loved the enclosed porch and walking around the property. Great restaurant and activity suggestions! Very responsive hosts, and there were many extras that made it convenient and easy! Definitely recommend!

This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. Our favorite part of the cabin were all of the details throughout. The mix of slate, natural stone, and woodwork made us feel like we were in a storybook cottage. It was the perfect place for the family to spend time by the fire between ski days. The driveway was challeging for our vehicles but we made it work

We had a great stay at Lisa and David’s cabin. The location was gorgeous and just outside of downtown Luray while being very central to multiple wineries, hikes and other activities. Exactly what we imagined when we had this trip in mind, and the hot tub was excellent. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing cabin weekend in Luray.

Bevin is the most attentive host I’ve met. She checked in daily and often, even without us reaching out to her with questions or requests. Her home is colorfully and thoughtfully decorated, and she is generous with all the necessities to make travel easy, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. Her backyard deck is lovely, and the cul-de-sac is peaceful and private. There is plenty of parking, and there are grocery stores, etc. within 2 miles.

The cabin was wonderful! When we first pulled in and noticed the address was a main road, I got a little nervous, but the cabin was set so far back on the property that we couldn't tell how close we were to civilization. It felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere. The view was wonderful. The fireplace got the whole place roasting hot, which we loved. Hot tub was great! covered porch so we didn't have to worry about any rain or snow, but screened in so we still felt like we were outside. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. We had to bring (or rent) our own sheets and toiletries, which I didn't love since we were already packing for cooking and cold weather clothes, but not a big deal. No wifi or phone service so definitely disconnected. We were able to find stuff on cable for a cozy movie night. The well water didn't bother anyone in the family, not even the whiny and picky children. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Such an amazing spot and escape from reality! The horses were so nice and super chill around my dog. It was so pleasant walking around! Also, one of the most comfortable bed I’ve been it!

This was a nice two-person apartment close to shopping and restaurants. Well-stocked kitchen, a great screened porch with table and chairs (we ate meals out there), and a huge bathroom. About the only thing missing was a TV, but we had laptops and wifi so it wasn't really an issue for us.

This is our second time staying here and third time staying in Kimberly’s rentals. We have been completely satisfied and will continue to visit staying here! Very quick on responding to messages with a positive response. Such a great place for a getaway. We will see y’all soon!!!

Charles place was lovely! Very convenient location for us and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a bit unclear where the backyard was since it seemed to overlap with several of the neighbors; though it wasn’t fenced in it allowed us room enough to bring our pup outside to stretch his legs. Very nice place!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Great little apartment (minus a full kitchen). Lennice was very friendly, helpful, and on top of the minor internet issue we were having. Loved the location, which was perfect for us to attend events at a nearby vineyard and still only 15-20 min from main areas of Charlottesville.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse over the MLK holiday weekend. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with basics, cookware, drink ware, etc. In addition, they brought over a high chair for our toddler upon request. The kitchen was very homey and we ended up spending much of our time there! They quickly responded to our questions and provided lots of helpful info on the surrounding area. The immediate land surrounding the house was great and we are hoping to make it back in the warmer months to really take advantage of the views. There are also so many lovely drives to take nearby, and the town of Luray had a couple great coffee/breakfast places (including one run by the hosts). We highly recommend staying at the farmhouse in any season!

This was an amazing and beautiful cabin! The cabin was very spacious and was perfect for what we needed. Owners were very proactive and responsive and communicative. I appreciated that there were no surprises and if anything came up, they would be able to respond in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Kim’s for a quick quiet sewing retreat away from the city. We loved walking around the grounds and then cozying up in the beautifully decorated historic cottage.

Fantastic stay overall. The host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We made an oversight during our booking in that we didn't notify in advance that we were bringing a pet, but once we explained the issue and discussed it with the host, she was very accommodating and allowed us to pay the pet deposit and stay. She has two small puppers who tagged along with us on several walks around the property (highly recommend walking up Bruce's Mountain for a spectacular view!). Would happily return for another stay in the future.

Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

This was our third time staying at Gigi's Mountain Cabin. It was fantastic, as always, and we look forward to coming back next year - if not sooner
