Lovely spot for a quiet get-away. Close to everything we needed. Enjoyed lake swimming, hot tub relaxing, and fire pit ambiance. Great view. We also enjoyed antiquing and thrift shopping in the area.

We were looking for a nice, peaceful getaway, which this lakefront house provided. The spacious screened-in porch overlooking the lake was perfect for relaxing and enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or a peaceful evening. The lights around the porch added a nice touch. We also used the hot tub everyday and were able to watch the sunset, the boats, and the wildlife on the lake. The house had everything we needed, including the use of the washer and dryer. The price was the lowest around but that didn’t turn out to be the best part. The cabin was beautiful and secluded, with the amenities of a city right down the street. The app this owner uses for the stay was convenient and helped us navigate the stay. If the app doesn’t work for people who don’t use smartphones, the information is right on the kitchen dinette. Also the responsiveness of the owner was nearly immediate. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We loved the house and stay so much! The river in the backyard was beautiful. The home is well stocked with lots to do. We traveled with our teenage boys and they had a blast! Close to lots of hiking and falls. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Thanks so much!

Brought my friends here for a bachelorette getaway and had the best time! We loved how clean it was and the hot tub was wonderful!

This is probably the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. Everything from the scenery to the peace and quiet of being in the woods. Everything was perfect. I usually am skeptical and worry about traveling and where to stay but this place was top tier. The hot tub was our favorite haha. This is a perfect place if you want to be secluded while also being close to the main attractions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our place when we come back!

March 20-22, 2025 We stayed at 3 Bears for our son's wedding nearby. The home is beautiful and comfy! The house was very clean and had wanderful amenities! We were too busy to enjoy the hot tub, but my grandson loved the disc golf basket and horseshoe pit. The swings below the deck were a welcome treat. The home was full of personal touches including a welcome sign, s’mores supplies, snack basket, coffee bar with generous supplies, and much more! The quality of the well stocked supplies was greatly appreciated. We hope to stay here again! Thank you!

Had a wonderful night in the little cabin to break up a cross country roadtrip. It is truly a magical little spot in the forest

This place is so serine. Feels like you’re in the middle of no where. It’s so peaceful with 200 acres surrounding it. The rope lights were a nice touch when we were arriving to the house after dark. Well worth the money. Thanks Natalie!

J.W.’s place was exactly as pictured and the perfect, peaceful gateway. The views from the decks are beyond words, the space was very comfortable, and the use is the fire pit and kayaks were definitely a plus! J.W. was very responsive to messages and great at offering local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the area. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

This is our 4th time staying at Wahoo...can't get enough of this place. We love the serenity of the location, to swim in the river across the street with our dogs, enjoy downtown Traveler's Rest and Greenville. Allison and Travis are excellent hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highroads. This cabin was just as described and perfect for a weekend getaway in the mountains for our family and dogs. It is close to hiking trails and little towns with lots to do! Allison was very responsive and quickly responded to questions or concerns. My only complaint was that it was so hot in the bedroom at night. We tried running the AC and used fans to help cool down the cabin/room to no avail. It would be helpful to have an AC windows unit in the room for hot muggy summers. The original fan that was provided was broken but Allison was able to provide us with a replacement the next day! Thank you for your help with this!

This location is wonderful for multiple families, very safe for young children to be outside to run around and play. Love that they allow fur babies. This is a very cozy place you feel welcomed the minute you walk in. When I came back to this area again I will definitely stay here!

Firstly, let me start off with how great of a host Chris was. All the way from before we arrived to the end. He was always communicating back and forth quickly, he helped with recommendations regarding things I wanted to see, and was always kind. Secondly, the little home is beautiful, peaceful, serene. Everything is exactly as described, the outdoors were beautiful. Although we spent a lot of time out and about, it felt comfortable and made us feel right at home when we came back. It’s a small cabin, but packs for much into it. I loved the bar tops out on the deck and indoors. He had charcoal for the grill and even fire wood for the fire pit. We had a great time, even playing a few of the games Chris left in the cabin. Perfect location, private, quiet. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you Chris!

My crew very much enjoyed a quite restfull place after their work was completed for the day They left abruptly due to an incident on the job I hope they left it in good orderl We didnt hear about anything so I m assuming it was fine Thank you Vicky

Great use of space. 5 star experience.

This cabin in the woods was just perfect. Great location for us to join our Family in Pumpkintown, SC. We were able to be near them with a nice quick drive early or late into the evening. The cabin was cozy but very spacious. Our kids enjoyed waking and playing the board games provided or cuddling up and watching televison, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning sipping coffee and watching the sunrise with a book. There is a nice paved road for walks or morning runs with very little traffic. We will absolutely be staying here in the future and sharing the location with family and friends.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of days to get away and visit local state parks. We had a great stay at the Cabin! The whole place was very clean and we really enjoyed sitting around the fire at night. We were able to bring our dog too so that was a big bonus that it was pet friendly! We loved our stay and highly recommend this cabin.

Everything was perfect down to the location of the bathroom hooks, trash can and the bed linens were great. Tray went over the top to makes us feel comfortable. Having a TV that got local channels was outstanding since we wanted to watch the Masters. I have never stated at a Airbnb that considered me and my comfort more than this place, I will definitely stay there again.

The setting was quiet, peaceful and beautiful with magnificent trees. The deck allowed me to feel surrounded by nature without having to make any effort and I enjoyed many meals there. The house was exceptionally well provisioned with basic supplies (paper products, laundry and cleaning , quality cookware, dishes, flatware, and kitchen tools.). Beds were comfortable, linens were plentiful, water for showers hot with good pressure. All appliances in working order. Any problems were minor and swiftly remedied. The house comfortably accommodated my few guests. and could easily accommodate a larger group. Although I did not use them, the grill, computer and fireplace are nice amenities. Neighbors are friendly but not intrusive.

We love this place! We enjoyed a family weekend getaway and this was a great place to do so. It is a peaceful and well-maintained venue. The cabin was terrific! Walking trails were fun. This was a perfect place for us to spend quality time together. We expect to return again. Terrific place!
