We loved the home, the location, the semi-private beach 5 minutes away. John and Anita were extremely responsive guests. They also recommended a boat tour with Michael, which was wonderful and cannot be missed. The only negative part was the welcome from the local manager Nurlyn; we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and she was clearly upset about it. She was in a big hurry to leave, so she did not explain anything about the house. There was not even a small bottle of water, so we had to go out to get it. She said the front door was always open and we could not lock the house, which left us very concerned. The good thing is that John and Anita called her the next morning, her attitude changed, and she sent someone to fix the door. Overall a wonderful experience!

Our group of three (couple and senior parent) was very happy at Gum Tree house. Maggie was exceptionally hospitable, we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived at the property. Beds are comfortable, AC works well, pool is gorgeous, washer and dryer a welcome help, kitchen well equipped, lovely gardens to explore, sufficiently private bedrooms, views from every spot. The house was well suited to our daily routine of slow mornings, a midday adventure, back in time for a late afternoon swim and prepping dinner while watching the sunset. TV is set up but we chose to not connect to the outside world and were happier for it. Beaches and provisions are a short drive away, the walking path to Anse la Roche was not accessible during our stay. Do rent a 4x4, the property is securely tucked, alone, high into the hillside with access via uneven terrain. If you enjoy an unspoilt island but appreciate coming home to the finer comforts of a modern building, Gum Tree House is a perfect destination.

Words cannot describe this home and how hospitable Mondel is, I did not want to leave. Pictures don’t do this home justice it is beautiful and the host is hands down the best. Restaurant recommendations, places to go things to see, he had all the information. This house has everything you need where you don’t need to leave. The famous Blow hole is walking distance. To top it off he grilled for us the night before we left. When I return to Grenada I will rebooking, very thoughtful and kind person he is. Do not hesitate to book here, I promise you won’t regret it. Mondel thank you for making this trip memorable and a great experience.

This was a dream trip for our family and Anna helped to make it happen. She met us when we arrived and we felt happy and relaxed right away. She gave us great recommendations for local beaches and food and this villa gave our family great space to gather and also to have peace and quiet. Thank you Anna!!!!

This was amazing, out of a dream. Everything was perfect, we spent a week here with my 2 kids and in laws and had a blast! We rented a car to get around the island and do groceries etc as nothing close to here for food. Cannot wait to come back!

Karen was very welcoming upon arrival. House is large and pictures are accurate. After a few hiccups with wifi, fridge and Bbq, which Karen fixed immediately the house was fine for the rest of our stay. With a beautiful breeze and open doors the main living and kitchen is very pleasant during the day We closed all windows and doors at night to keep the bugs out and with no air conditioning units in main living area it could be quite warm. The bedrooms all have air conditioning which work great. Beds and linens are of good quality. The main deck and pool are the most enjoyable part of the house. Beautiful and relaxing. The store “Meat and Meet” at LePhareBlu is spectacular. The highest quality meats, products, baked goods and produce at a reasonable price. Well worth visiting. We did tour the whole island and we feel this house is in the best area. Just sitting high on the hill on a beautiful deck watching the boat activity was so enjoyable. All in all a great rental. Our stay at the Villas was so wonderful. The villas are furnished beautifully and had everything we needed! The beds and linens were so luxurious, slept like a baby! The pool was such a treat for a swim before or after the beach! Views for days and the stars at night were spectacular! Having ice machines in each villa was a game changer for us- so great! Homes had more than listed like a hairdryer in master and shampoo and body wash in master shower! Had both American and Grenadian electrical outlets so I didn’t even need my converter. Everything worked as promised and the house manager Kathy was excellent. Everyone wants to bring their families back to the property and share their beautiful experience of Grenada!

Beautiful private home in a serene mountaintop location. Home is exactly as described. Master bedroom is huge, 2nd bedroom is smaller but was perfect for 2 small children. Pool (less than 5 feet) was fun. Neighbors were friendly and kind. We enjoyed the neighborhood, it felt safe. If you’re traveling with kids, be aware that there’s no child safely locks, kids can open all doors and exit the house easily. St George’s is about 40 mins from this home, 55 mins to Grand Anse beach. We were comfortable with the drive, so the distance didn’t bother us. My kids enjoyed the space, peace and tranquillity this home and neighborhood had to offer. Pool patio was another fantastic highlight. Franklyn and Kevin were gracious hosts. Definitely recommend this home away from home.

I enjoyed the privacy and the greenery around. Also a short walk to the grocery and bakery stores. The buses are frequent especially if you want to visit St georges and Grand Anse beach. If you want a bit of excercise you can walk around to have a good look at the abundance of greenery around. As this is my third time here I did a bit more walking. The apartment was clean and cosy and had everything I needed for my stay. I would gladly stay here again.

Glenda’s place is a cute little gem. It was exactly what we needed for our monthly stay. Glenda was very hospitable & friendly. She brought us mangos, apples & coconut from her garden which were delicious. We liked that we could get a cab anytime we needed or take the local bus.

Vittoria gave clear instructions to finding her home, however we had no phone data to call her for help. it didn't help our flight was delayed 4 hours and we arrived in the dark. Vittoria had good local knowledge and gave us recommendations. We did walk to the beach but the walk back was up hill.

Theresa was an incredible host. She went above and beyond to find us a rice cooker for our sailing trip. Her home was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the bay. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Highly recommend this apartment. It’s very quiet, peaceful, excellent natural light and breeze. Cold A/C. Great shower. Easy access to the bus route to town. Gym close by.

I can’t speak highly enough of Charlene as a host and of the beautiful home nestled on the hill top. I found myself staring out into the ocean beyond the cliffs on numerous occasions and lost all sense of stress and distraction. The home was perfect for us with two incredibly comfortable bedrooms and it was very well equipped with some basic for thoughtful welcome gifts in the fridge. We even broke a glass which was no issue at all with our host. Thanks for understanding. Tamar in Hope City is serene, private and the perfect place to spend a few nights (although we wish we had more), especially after a few nights in Grande Anse. Thoroughly recommend and would stay again. Also special mention to Rhoden who was the local host and incredibly helpful too.

Another Fantastic Stay! This was our second time staying at Aliz Paradise, and We couldn’t be happier! Just like our first visit, everything was perfect. The space is incredibly comfortable and well-maintained, and the location is ideal for exploring the area. We are visiting after Carriacou was hit by hurricane Beryl (July 2024) and it’s great to see so many things are back up and running. Carriacou is definitely ready to welcome visitors. Our host was amazing—always so welcoming and attentive to any needs we had. We truly felt at home. We appreciated the little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable, from the thoughtful amenities to the helpful local recommendations. We had another fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and inviting getaway. Thank you for another lovely stay!

Lashana's place was definitely a Paradise Villa. Stunning views, beautiful sunsets and a very peaceful location. We found it was easy to get around with local taxis. Lashana arranged airport pickup and from that point we had Carl looking after us. The area is excellent for walking and very safe. Relaxing in the beautiful pool and sitting on the large balcony of this lovely home was one of the highlights if our vacation. Lashana was very quick to respond to any questions we had from start to finish. One of the best air bnbs we've rented we recommend it 💯.

Best place on the island to stay! Gordon was responsive and accommodating. The home was Spotless and the house keeper Lucy was an absolute gem 🤎 You can walk to the beach, the super market is literally across the street. Wall street ( street food vendors) is a 5 minute walk. This home was very convenient and comfortable for my group of 4. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Grenada

Stayed 1 week in Howard and Bianca’s cottage. Location is wonderful very private but on the beach in 60 seconds! Home has all the equipment you need and everything worked. Great coffee maker with fresh beans supplied. Bedrooms have a/c and beds are comfortable. Plenty of towels and linen available. Hosts were very friendly and responsive with easy clear instructions and a relative was on hand at check in to welcome us. Good tips about local area. Coffee shop, supermarkets bars and restaurants all walkable. We have stayed in the area before but would definitely return to this cottage. It is also very good value for money.

My mum and I stayed at this wonderful cottage for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Randall and Mr Hugh were fantastic hosts, answering all of our queries quickly and made us feel very welcome for the duration of our stay. The cottage is in a perfect location, with restaurants/ cafes at the bottom of the road, along with the beach and the local mall within a 5-10 minute walk. The property itself was beautifully presented and very clean. All of the bedrooms were very spacious with air con and sufficient wardrobe/ drawer space for clothes and shoes. Both bathrooms were also spacious, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals, with a good sized fridge/ freezer for your groceries. The very well proportioned patio area was a great place to relax, with table and chairs, outdoor lights and plugs. The cottage really has everything you need, so we would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing. It was calm, private, and gorgeous. The pool and views were stunning. There were two property managers who were available by phone for anything we needed and they were very helpful. They are also able to book extra activities for you if you wish (ex. Massages, private chef, islands tours, etc.) We had a wonderful time here and would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at France and Pierre’s place. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy area of Grand Anse, but still easily accessible by car. We spent most mornings at La Sagesse beach - a 5 minute drive away. We had the beach to ourselves and ate a few delicious lunches at the resort. France and Pierre were great with our kids: helping them feed the parrots and chickens, making them treats, and indulging their curiosity. Thank you for making our stay special!

Spent a lovely 2 months in Abraham's apartment. He was very friendly and welcomed us in as soon as we arrived and we immediately felt right at home. All amenities were provided, was great to have the air conditioning and access to the lovely garden full of fruit trees. Really private, beautiful and safe feeling area - though a car is necessary unless you're willing to brave the hills in the heat! Le phare bleu marina and restaurant are a short walk down hill (but be prepared to trek back up!), but that is all that is really within walking distance. Thank you so much, Abraham!

A great holiday spot in a perfect location. The view out over the ocean is spectacular, and the property is private, well-equipped, and near beautiful beaches (gorgeous La Sagesse beach is about 10 minutes away). The airport is about half an hour or less away, as is St. George's. But it is nice to be away from the bustle of the capitol. And there is a convenient Foodland just up the street. In all, a great spot to unwind and enjoy the best of Grenada.
