We loved the home, the location, the semi-private beach 5 minutes away. John and Anita were extremely responsive guests. They also recommended a boat tour with Michael, which was wonderful and cannot be missed. The only negative part was the welcome from the local manager Nurlyn; we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and she was clearly upset about it. She was in a big hurry to leave, so she did not explain anything about the house. There was not even a small bottle of water, so we had to go out to get it. She said the front door was always open and we could not lock the house, which left us very concerned. The good thing is that John and Anita called her the next morning, her attitude changed, and she sent someone to fix the door. Overall a wonderful experience!

We had a great experience staying at this Airbnb! I booked last minute and was so impressed that the host got us checked in within two hours, which was a huge relief. The space was perfect for me and my daughter!Comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything that was needed to cook. (Can’t forget the games so fun) The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The location was awesome as it was directly in the middle of town & also fully gated so we felt safe, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. i highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone seeking a great experience and wanting to enjoy their stay like a local! Our group of three (couple and senior parent) was very happy at Gum Tree house. Maggie was exceptionally hospitable, we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived at the property. Beds are comfortable, AC works well, pool is gorgeous, washer and dryer a welcome help, kitchen well equipped, lovely gardens to explore, sufficiently private bedrooms, views from every spot. The house was well suited to our daily routine of slow mornings, a midday adventure, back in time for a late afternoon swim and prepping dinner while watching the sunset. TV is set up but we chose to not connect to the outside world and were happier for it. Beaches and provisions are a short drive away, the walking path to Anse la Roche was not accessible during our stay. Do rent a 4x4, the property is securely tucked, alone, high into the hillside with access via uneven terrain. If you enjoy an unspoilt island but appreciate coming home to the finer comforts of a modern building, Gum Tree House is a perfect destination.

Gillian and Lennox were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we sat out on the front porch for meals, with a sunset view looking towards the mountains, surrounded Lennox’s garden, with fresh herbs. Lennox guided us on a sunrise trip to Welcome Stone and showed us different sites from his childhood growing up in Grenada. Levera beach was spectacular, amazing swimming,coconut water, friendly craftsman selling beads and beach security guys sharing their lunch.

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in diesem Apartment. Wir haben hier zehn Tage zu zweit gewohnt und dann noch fünf Tage zu viert. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und es gibt zwei große Schlafzimmer. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen sicheren Wohngegend in typisch karibischer Umgebung. Zu der Hauptbuslinie geht man etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, aber dies liegt auch an unseren wunderbaren Hosts Conrad und Gleetha. Die beiden sind großartig und sehr herzlich. Wenn man nur an einem Strandurlaub interessiert ist, gibt er es ggf. Alternativen. Aber wenn man diese lebendige Insel, die Kultur und die herzlichen Menschen kennenlernen möchte, gibt es keinen besseren Ort, denn wir wurden bei Conrad und Gleetha in die Familie integriert. Wir sind gekommen als Gäste und sind gegangen als Freunde. Eine Umarmung hier für Gleetha und ein herzliches Dankeschön an Conrad. Keep running!

Nicholas started as a great host and quickly became a great friend. I had special circumstances and he helped solve each issue often going out of his way. Always a positive attitude. Could say lots more. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in this beautiful and unique home. The roof terrace can’t be beat! It was easy to get around by bus, we didn’t rent a car. The hosts were responsive and lovely, they even left groceries for us in the kitchen. Can’t wait to come back to Grenada and stay here again!

Our second time staying with Reene and once again we had such a lovely time. Reene’s place is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Grand Anse and the spice market. You’re also an easy walk from a supermarket. The hill is steep but keeps you fit during the stay and rewards you with some great views. You can be in St George’s in 10 minutes via a bus. There are bus stops at the bottom of the hill. We love being in a local area rather than down at the resorts. The local people are all so friendly. Reene is the perfect host, who very kindly collected us from the airport, and is always responsive to messages and to answer any questions you may have. Lovely apartment with comfy beds, a great shower, everything you need to cook yourself. Coffee or a drink on the balcony amongst the banana trees is a highlight. We’ll definitely be back to stay again soon.

Had a great stay at Dick’s place when we wanted to enjoy a little paradise-Grenada.. Dick made sure that he cares for his guests- providing water, coffee station, even a washing machine😊 Location was ideal - walking distance from Maurice Bishop highway where you can get buses to St George’s, many local shops nearby… The home was impeccably neat and bed was comfortable which took our tiredness away after a long day of tours, excursions where you walk the entire day… Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home…We had a great time exploring the island and will stay here again next time we visit Grenada…

Our hosts were great; they answered all our messages before we arrived, welcomed us very warmly, showed us around the apartment, and were very responsive when we had questions. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and was very conveniently located near a grocery store (that takes credit cards) and a few steps away from buses that were frequent. The apartment was very attractive, clean, and comfortable and we felt right at home. We enjoyed our stay in Grenada and the location gave us a chance to see a little bit of local life (including Caribbean music), rather than just a tourist resort. I recommend this apartment - Nicholas and Marilyn were perfect hosts!

Had a great stay at Florence’s place. It has all the amenities & comforts of home. Quiet peaceful neighborhood just across from the golf course. Central location close to lots of great beaches, restaurants, shopping & easy pick up for day trips to waterfalls etc. Florence & her family were very kind & helpful, always checking in to see if I needed anything. Highly recommend & would love to stay on a future trip again.

Paula and John are incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure my mother had a remarkable stay - they even threw her a sweet birthday lunch. Their hospitality is outstanding and only adds to the peace and serenity of the apartment. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her stay, loved the apartment, the stunning views, the calm sea breeze and the generosity of the hosts. We all look forward to returning!

Marva‘s place has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is a 10 minute walk from the bottom of grand anse beach, 2 minute walk to bus stops for the city or to the beach in the other direction. Marva went above and beyond to drive us to the marina after the check out. I highly recommend the place and the host.

As advertised. Welcoming host. All amenities you will need. The accommodation was beautiful, inside, and out. The bedrooms are of a good size. we enjoyed our stay.

Jason place is a very comfortable place with everything one needs. The location is very close to the city and in walking distance. i was able to cook and walk to the city and get fish.

Rachel is a friendly, sociable host, smiling and respects our privacy. Rachel responded quickly to our requests, she is easily reachable by internet or telephone. She even offered us transportation for my birthday to go to the restaurant and then came to pick us up from the restaurant. the accommodation is clean the journey is a good walk to the beach or the bus is within walking distance. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening we had a nice breeze. during the day we could clearly see the sea seen from the porch I loved my stay at Rachel's I recommend

A cozy getaway that is right next to TWO of the best beaches in Grenada. Very private, well organized and certainly worth the money. Somewhat walkable to Anse beach, and relatively close to the shopping mall. Check out the bar next door, they're doing amazing rum punches! You would NEED a car though, anything works - but for island exploration you'd need a 4x4. Be prepared to face weekend "traffic" sometimes as it feels like the whole island comes to visit the park in the neighborhood, and they're trying to fit two-way traffic into half of the lane. Relax and enjoy your 1-hour long drive to get past 1000 feet jam.

Very modern and clean apartment. Fantastic location a few steps to the beautiful beach. Lovely view from the balcony. Great to have the use of a washing machine and dryer. Cooking facilities in the flat perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was our second time staying here and this time we stayed for 2 weeks. we loved it as per the first time stayed . Great experience, peaceful and quiet 10/10 . highly recommend! the only thing is the beach isn’t as near but if you have transportation it’s about a 5-10 min drive maybe less . there’s a nice shop down the road , few mins walk about 10 mins /3 min drive. where we were able to buy some light groceries there as well as food upstairs the grocery store . Some things weren’t working but with communication with the host , things were handled and fast too . Thank you waylan for letting us stay !!

I was offered airport pick up and drop off which was convenient since it was my first time on the island. location is eco friendly, quiet and relaxing. apartment was very clean, tidy and well kept. overall amazing and is highly recommended

We urgently needed a place to stay with short notice. Becky responded quickly and was reassuring in making sure we had a place to stay. I highly recommend this beautiful place and loved the pool also.

We are so grateful for Desmond's hospitality and space! We came to Grenada for Spicemas and it was very refreshing to be able to get away from the main areas and rest up and recharge in the quiet environment of his residential neighbourhood. The apartment looks out onto a lush garden with a diversity of fruit trees and butterflies and cute little geckos! We loved being able to enjoy our morning coffees out on the veranda in a magical garden. Desmond was a gentleman from the start. He picked us up from the airport and provided drop off when we were leaving as well. During our stay, he made sure we were aware of all the amenities in the apartment and we met his lovely puppy, Easter! Desmond also took us on a drive out of St. George one afternoon to visit the smaller town of Grenville where we were able to experience the local cuisine. He's very knowledgeable about Grenadian history and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. Thank you so much for hosting us!
