Had a fabulous (and alas, all-too-brief) stay at this architectural gem, located in a quiet and tranquil setting just a few minutes from the centre of Owen Sound. Sim was a wonderful host -- communicative and with lots of tips for things to see and do in the district. We aim to return as soon as possible!

This was our second stay at this home in Desboro. It is the perfect retreat - quiet, space, an extremely cozy (but not small) home. We were happy to be there in a snow storm with a fire, snowshoes, and pingpong!

We spent 2 weekend nights at this beautiful house in August. My husband said for him, it was the highlight of our trip to Tobermory. The place itself is warm, cozy, and truly full of charm and character. We were greeted by Reg, who was very kind and friendly. He helped us with various helpful directions and inputs. He also taught us the game of Crokinole which we played for multiple rounds and shared stories and laughs while at it. I will highly recommend this place and would love to be back.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Capelle Huis. It is a beautiful old farmhouse with unique touches that is very well maintained. We liked everything from the pets, the property, the view, our rooms and the relaxing fire pit at night. All of this, and to have John as our amazing host made the weekend with our family there a very memorable one. We will be back.

Great place to get-away and relax with family of 4. Beautiful views of the lake surrounded by nature. Very friendly and quiet community. Would come back again for a stay. Andrea great at communicating and prompt responses.

We had a really pleasant stay. Lots of great recommendations for local food, places to explore and things to do. Very bright and plenty of room for our family of 4. Melanie was extremely helpful to us to get the most out of a fantastic area. I would highly recommend.

Devan and Taylor, Thank You very much - we had a great family mini-vacation! From booking of the place to us leaving, communications were great, quick and clear. Location is great, 10-minute drive from center of Owen Sound, walkable to the nearest grocery store, many things to do nearby and in the area. The house itself is in a very private area, between trees with a beautiful view from a hill to the field and forest. Very quiet with millions of stars above at night. The house feels recently renovated, clean, fresh, very well equipped for daily family life. We enjoyed every moment of staying here, felt really like home. We are definitely looking to come back!

Dareen est parfait Hôte. La cabine est charmante. Ce fut un séjour très agréable. Nous avons acheté du mouton et du bœuf des animaux qu'ils élèvent : Délicieux!! Darren nous a fiat visité sa ferme, cela fut très instructifs et les enfants ont vraiment appréciés. La communication a été agréable et fluide à tout moment. --- Dareen is the perfect Host. The cabin is charming. It was a very pleasant stay. We bought lamb and beef from the farm: Delicious!! Darren gave us a tour of his farm, it was very informative and the children really enjoyed it. Communication was pleasant and smooth at all times.

Despite arriving late at night, Nicole was extremely helpful and sent me detailed pictures to guide me to the cabin, making it easy to find. She responded quickly to all my questions and concerns, and the trailer I stayed in was spotless. The next morning, I took a walk around the farm and was treated to a breathtaking sunrise. Later, I had the pleasure of chatting with Nicole and her husband—they were so friendly and welcoming. I also had a wonderful time with their dog, Ocean, and got to see their horses, pig, and cat. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay, and I will definitely be visiting again next summer!"

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We came from Ohio looking for snow, and we certainly found it. The home itself was extremely cozy and spotless (probably the most clean bnb we’ve stayed at). It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The snowshoes left by the hosts were a perfect touch and definitely got used when we walked our dogs around the property. We did get snowed in, but the host was kind enough to make sure it was plowed before we needed to check out. This was the perfect getaway for us as we were looking for something peaceful but also able to play in the snow. Highly highly recommend!

This cottage was absolutely gorgeous! So much space for everyone to spread out and relax. It was perfect for our family and we had a wonderful time. The finishes were elegant and luxurious. The open concept kitchen/living room were great to host a family made the experience feel very home-y. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a spacious and beautiful getaway. We'd definitely stay here again, especially in the summer.

Very friendly and responsive hosts! The place is clean and cute with nice decor. Fireplace makes the place super cozy in the winter! This is a basement apartment and someone else had mentioned in their review the noise from upstairs being too much. You can hear footsteps or water running occasionally but we did not find this impacted our stay at all. However, if you want to sleep in late or you need absolute quiet, this likely wouldn’t work for you. We would visit again if in the area!

We had an amazing stay at Catherine’s beautiful farmhouse! The house was the perfect winter retreat for our group of eight women. Despite the heavy snowstorm, Catherine made sure the laneway was plowed and the farmhouse was fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. When we experienced a brief power outage, Catherine was incredibly attentive and responsive, offering to send someone to start up their backup system. Thankfully, the power came back on quickly, but it was reassuring to know she had everything under control. The farmhouse was spacious, with enough room for everyone to have their own bed, and then some! The hot tub and sauna were incredible amenities that made our weekend extra relaxing. We didn’t leave the house all weekend and were perfectly content enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful amenities. Catherine was an outstanding host, and we would definitely recommend her place to anyone looking for a peaceful and

Emily's property was so quiet and cozy. The house itself exceeded my expectations!! The pictures don't do its charm justice. The kitchen was perfect and well stocked with the essentials. The king bed was AMAZING, SO COMFY. Everything you need is right there in the house :) Would absolutely book it again!

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi’s - the loft is clean and cozy, and the surroundings are calm and peaceful. We loved that there was a wood-burning fireplace to keep us nice and toasty. To top it all off, Heidi even offered us some delicious carrot cake. Thanks Heidi, Rudy, and doggo Max - hope to stay again in the future! :)

The house was very spacious with lots of room very everyone to spread out. There were so many toys for the toddler in our group to play with, she was always occupied. The hot tub was very clean. Craig was very quick to respond to any questions and provided lots of information regarding the property and amenities.

Amazing vacation rental, fully equipped so cozy, warm with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful view of the mountains with big windows, spacious bedrooms and all the amenities we needed. Zehra was amazing and gave us great pointers on what to visit and it was all worth it. We are returning home with great souvenirs 🧡

We stayed here as a group of 8 friends, 3 of us being couples, for a couple of nights to go skiing in Blue Mountain. The cottage had everything we could have possibly needed, even things we wouldn't have thought we would need. It really felt like a family home, and I can see myself coming here with my family one day! It was VERY clean, super spacious, everyone had sufficient privacy and room to roam around. I stayed in all day while the others went to Blue Mountain as I am pregnant, and had a very lovely and cozy time. The manual for the home was very thorough, and I loved how every room had its own AC unit so everyone could adjust their own temperature. Amy has been very responsive and helpful throughout, from even before booking. The location is also wonderful, so quiet and private, yet very close to BM village. Can't recommend this place enough, and I look forward to coming some day in the summer to take advantage of the huge property!

From the moment we arrived at Ladybank school house we felt the world lift off our shoulders , what a joyous place to have found . The school house is truly gorgeous, the grounds so beautiful ( a secret little fairy garden for yoga, reading and cloud watching was my favourite) and the surrounding area was so very pleasant to drive around , the general store in Feversham is like something from a movie set lol and you can buy EVERYTHING ! Peter , well what to say! we have designated him Super Duper Host , we were provided with an enormous basket of just picked vegetables of EVERY variety and oodles of fresh herbs , dropped at the curb so we were never disturbed . We spent a glorious rainy day just cooking delicious recipes in the very well stocked ‘ chef style ‘ kitchen and 10 days home are still enjoying them . The generosity of the Ladybank farm was unparalleled. We will be back ….

Lovely stay! We enjoyed our stay at Christine’s place for girls trip of 5 and a close drive to Thornbury and Blue Mountains. The communication was great and responsive. The house itself was clean, spacious and very peaceful for a summer trip. Would stay again in this beautiful home!

We had a great stay! It's a beautiful home with neat features and cozy fireplaces (we stayed in the winter). Beautiful, private, treed property that's still very close to town. Great for a big family. Sweta was very responsive and helpful. We would fully recommend staying here!

One of the best stays we've ever experienced! Alex and Dixie were super responsive, and very accommodating with our very last minute additions to our trip. From the moment we arrived at the property, we felt safe, comfortable and welcomed. Alex and Dixie were proactive in making sure we could contact them when needed and ensured that we checked in and out easily. Lots of entertainment provided on site, and multiple hang out spots throughout the house. As the 13 year old said, "the beds were super comfy", and it's definitely hard to impress a 13 year old. Would recommend to anyone who wants a farmhouse experience with a large group of friends/family - a stunning home that has that personal touch you want during your stay.

Elisa was a gracious and welcoming host. Very responsive and flexible; accommodated us with a late check-out which made our final morning that much more relaxing. The spa (a modest extra cost) was beautiful and very relaxing - far exceeded expectations! A great location in Grey Highlands
