This is our second year staying over Christmas and using this place to host our families. It has everything we need to put on a dinner and enjoy the holiday. The place is clean and comfortable and has plenty of room to meet our needs. Jesse is very responsive and is eager to help if they can. We can't wait for our next stay.

The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and picturesque. We were there during the biggest snow storm of the year and it felt like we had our own private winter wonderland. She had arranged for a plow to clear the driveway and everything went very smoothly despite getting over a meter of snow in 3-4 days. The house itself is beautiful and is a great mix of old timey charm and character as well as modern amenities (new kitchen, bedroom and bathroom). We especially enjoyed sitting in the living room with the fireplace going while relaxing and riding out the snowfall. This was one of the most relaxing stays we have had with plenty of privacy and beautiful views. It is also close enough for short trips to Collingwood/Blue Mountain. Johanna is also a great host. Although we did not meet face to face, she was very responsive and provided lots of information and local recommendations. She even checked in on us to make sure we didn't get completely snowed in. Overall a great experience!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This was my second time staying at Valentine’s property, first in Camp meadow and now in the loft! The loft exceeded all of our expectations. It was beautifully lit with lights and had so many homey touches and features. The place was lit up and music was playing right when we walked in, and we were instantly blown away! We made use of the space and enjoyed board games, drawing and even the indoor basketball court! The property is absolutely breathtaking and we were able to walk around, enjoy the sounds of nature and really feel relaxed. Desboro is a perfect location if you plan on driving up to visit Tobermory or Collingwood as well! 10 Stars!! Will definitely have to come back again soon :)

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

Jennifer and her family were amazing hosts. The place was clean when we arrived, and felt very cozy and you could tell the love they put into renovating this house to make it feel like a home. It fit our entire group comfortably, I was able to make a meal with the fully equipped kitchen for my friends and overall have a relaxing and fun weekend. It was snowing pretty bad when we left and Jennifer was very flexible and understanding with our check out time. I would highly recommend booking this place. It’s very close to blue mountain, but the town of Meaford is also beautiful on its own. The location is close to many restaurants, groceries stores etc. We will be booking this for sure this summer. This property was absolutely beautiful and Brent and Anne-Marie for fantastic hosts! The pictures don’t do this property justice! If you’re thinking about staying here, and it’s available, scoop it up quickly! You definitely will not be disappointed!!

Nicely decorated apartment. Exceptionally well equipped. The coffee was delicious and I especially appreciated a new, unopened container of cream for the coffee. The king bed was very comfortable.

Mary and her partner were wonderful hosts. We stayed at their place during a very bad snowstorm and they looked after us like their own family. They kept the driveway shoveled for us to come in and out, even during the storm and they let our dog meet their donkeys and goats and we're very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation is very pet friendly and they left some treats and other pet supplies. The house in general had all the necessities required for a stay including a fully functioning kitchen and a smart TV.

Rakesh has maintained the place well! If you’re looking for a quite and serene place for relaxing for a weekend, this is the place to consider.

We had a great family stay at Grandpa Jake's! Thom and Lyn are wonderful hosts. Thom greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour and showed us the ropes! The home was very well equipped, clean and so very spacious. It was such a bonus to have the Frankin Fireplace which Thom so graciously offered to have going for us on our arrival and then again upon a return back to the home. We really enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to rebook with Thom and Lyn in the future. Highly recommended by us and the kids :)

Great place to stay for the price and everything we needed was nearby, food, grocery stores and the blue mountain resort were all only a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were very friendly and were always there if we needed to reach them.

We had an amazing stay at Silver Springs! Joy and Michael were responsive to all of our questions and concerns. They dropped off bug spray which we had forgotten and also came by when we needed assistance. The place is the basement unit of the larger barn. It is spacious with a large living room/TV and the beds were comfortable. The property itself was stunning. Checking out the dock and swimming hole is a must. I highly recommend Silver Springs for a true getaway.

We go to cottages in Ontario almost every season, and this one really stood out. Cozy atmosphere, a great kitchen with dishwasher (rare), a clean hottub, many rooms with enough privacy, well-designed and good layout with multiple hangout areas. The host, Sarah, was very responsive and friendly. The cabin is neatly located near Ingils falls, 40 min drive to Blue Mountain and a few minutes to town. We were also allowed to bring our dog for some extra money. Overall, we had an amazing time at Cozy Cabin, and we'll be back!

We spent a wonderful two nights at Karen and Steven’s airbnb. We unexpectedly had the first snow of the year during our stay and it was like a magical winter wonderland. We felt so cozy inside with the fireplace watching the snow slowly falling outside. We went on an amazing hike on old baldy trail which was easily accessed right from the backyard of the property on foot. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and given the snow, we were thankful that we had great walkable options. We so hope to be able to come back and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods and nature. Thank you so much to Karen and Steven for sharing a slice of your paradise with us!

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway, hard to beat sitting by the campfire watching the stars. The place was exactly as described and is a little rustic getaway. We loved the location and how private it was with cute little cabin.

Neil has done an incredible job creating an escape amongst the tree on his wood-lot property. We’ve stayed in the cabin a few times now and it never disappoints. It’s a very cozy space and the wood fire stove keeps it toasty with very little effort. The breakfast is amazing - a basket filled with home backed goods and treats, local produce & preserves. More than enough for the two of us. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet private space to relax and unwind.

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and set in such a beautiful, peaceful location. The fireplace was a perfect touch, making our evenings warm and relaxing. Communication with the host was effortless—they were always quick to respond and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend.

Our party of 9 (4 adults, 4 children and an infant) had a lovely winter stay at Meredith’s cabin. It’s beautifully decorated, super cozy with the wood burning fire and very spacious. The large basket of clean bath towels was a little luxury. Meredith had some thoughtful touches like valentines chocolates, hot chocolate and marshmallows out for us upon arrival. Our kids had a blast playing around the property in the snow, and the view is so peaceful. We hope to return again soon!

Our stay at Marlin’s Cabin was nothing short of amazing. We arrived after a period of significant snowfall and Marlin had shovelled the entire driveway, set up a fire, and had the cabin heated up and ready to go! Marlin and Bernice were more than happy to help with any requests and when we were snowed in on our departure day, were super accommodating. Marlin and Bernice really care for their guests’ experience and I’m really glad I got the chance to enjoy their slice of heaven at the Hidden Haven Cabin!
