Beautiful custom built home in a quiet foothill setting. Probably the best stocked and equipped kitchen I have experienced at an AirBnB; fruit, snacks, and eggs were provided. Perfect location if you are simply wanting to get away and slow down for a day or two. The owners live in an adjacent building on the property and Anna met me at check-in and did a quick walk through of the house with me, which was very helpful. She was available if we had a need, but otherwise, left us to enjoy our time. Welcoming, friendly hosts and beautiful home in an ideal setting.

Rob’s place was perfect for our group of 8. The well stocked kitchen made cooking for the large group easy and the mountaineer shuttle picks you up at the door to take you to the mountain. The house is clearly very well cared for and it made a world of difference in our stay. I’ve done a number of ski trips with this large a group and Rob’s place is by far the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in

Very peaceful area. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was no longer available and that it wasn’t communicated to us that it would no longer be available. Would absolutely stay here again though.

What a lovely stay in Serene Lakes! Perfect location for ease of access to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. Gorgeous walking neighborhood (we truly had a winter wonderland) and the house was like staying at a best friend’s cabin. It had everything we could have needed and was so cozy. Comfortable beds, perfect wood-burning stove in the main living area, excellent bunk room for the kids, and a well-stocked kitchen for all of our cooking at home. As coffee addicts, we appreciated all of the coffee-making options! Hosts were excellent communicators. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.

This place is absolutely beautiful, clean, fully stocked. Adam was super responsive. Super flexible and friendly. The place itself is even better than the pictures, very comfortable. He all kinds of games and things for kids. Good books for adults. Nice little random things like a couple guitars, binoculars to look at nature. I can't say enough great things about this place. The adults and kids all loved it.

Our repeat visit at Bret’s and just as good as last year. Got 24” of snow and just enjoyed the winter wonderland considering Tahoe was so dry in Jan. Kids played foos ball in morning along with pool and pong, then off to skiing ⛷️ and snowboarding 🏂 This year we took advantage of the hot tub in back while the heavy snow arrived. We also love how Bret’s place is snuggled in tree rich part of Tahoe Donner (TD), super quiet, peaceful and holds the snow well.

Great place so close to the trails and ski area. Lana was very helpful with instructions and gave us a lot of nice places to visit. Looking forward to coming back again!
