Last minute stay due to an issue elsewhere, but the place was in good condition. perhaps leave a pool net out in future but still enjoyable. Huge lodge with great facilities and beautifully presented. Deer and monkeys running past on the golf course, and a bonus seeing a huge Giraffe just outside.

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

Das Cottage liegt direkt am Fluß und man kann sehr gut Tiere beobachten. Die Kommunikation mit Oli war großartig. Enoch war vor Ort und super freundlich. Er hat uns alles gezeigt und uns auf Giraffen am Wasserloch und Löwenspuren aufmerksam gemacht. Es war alles da, was man für einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt brauchte und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had an incredible experience at Tania’s property! The accommodations were spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail, from the thoughtful touches around the home to the high-quality amenities, truly made this feel like a home away from home. Tania, her daughter Katie, Chris, Susan and Roscoe was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. They provided delicious meals, the bush drive with Chris was incredible. He track down all of the Big 5. We even had the elephants come visit us at the house. Tania was always prompt with answering my questions. Most of all, we enjoyed the talks, exchanging culture experiences. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, luxurious, getaway. Thank you Tania for such an exceptional experience!

What an amazing place!! We loved every moment. The house, the stoep, the boma and the deck were truly a treat. The area is so peaceful. We managed to do some spectacular birding from the deck and heard the laughing hippos. The Letaba river never disappoints. Featherbrook cottage is worth every penny. Thank you Mark, Fleur, Lumbi and Accra for your friendliness and hospitality. We loved every minute of our stay! We can’t wait to visit again!

What an incredible place ! We loved our stay there. The people that helped us were so friendly and always went out their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The golf course is beautiful and has the potential to get even better. When talking to the people that work there, they said that there are big plans to get the resort back to its 100% best. We will definitely be back !
