Hermitage Cottage is a true hidden gem in St. Lucia! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the lush beauty of St. Lucia’s nature, making this the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. One of the highlights is the breathtaking views – whether enjoying morning coffee on the veranda, lounging in the pool, or taking in the stunning sunsets, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. The location is perfect—secluded yet close to beaches and attractions. The cottage itself is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Glenda greeted us with a warm welcome and her breakfasts were truly delightful and delicious. We will absolutely be back, but for a longer stay next time!

Thank you Joyce for making our visit so enjoyable. We really enjoyed the tour of town right away so we knew where everything was. Laborie is a quiet, small village where everyone was really friendly. As it is a small village, nobody takes credit cards, so be sure to have cash available for purchases. It is easy to get around by walking or taking a bus or taxi. Joyce is very helpful in figuring out the best ways to get places. It is easy to take day trips to Vieux Fort or Soufriere. The food was great at all eateries. The beach was awesome which has a nice area for kids when the tide is down. The pier is also very nice. Thanks for a great relaxing vacation.

Ever since I have left Gloria's place, I have been trying to think of some way that I can get back! There is honestly not enough room to write the praises of how wonderful my stay was and how well I was treated and received. The home itself is lovely & idyllic. The kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to cook and the bedrooms are spacious. I loved listening to the island breeze with the windows open as it passed through and I enjoyed lounging in the hammock out front. Walking the grounds daily and admiring the amazing plant & wildlife was top-notch. I discovered something new everyday & took tons of pictures. Everything was just so fascinating & beautiful. Listening to the sounds of the birds was most relaxing & made any stress melt away. A really nice surprise is the fact that there's a view of the Gros Piton from the property. Very cool! Best of all was Gloria's insight to life in St. Lucia and advice. I hope to return sooner rather than later and highly recommend booking a stay.

Anne and Cletus are a wonderful, open-hearted couple and it was an absolutle privilege staying with them. We were only in St Lucia for a stop-off for one night so we arranged beforehand (Anne is super on it communciation-wise) for Cletus to pick us up from the airport, arrange a tour of the stunning views around Vieux Fort, taking us to get amazing barbecued pork street food in Laborie. Then to Mama Tilly's, eating under the corrugated roof, watching the geckos, again, delicious home-cooked barbecued chicken and lots of side dishes for veggies too. Cletus took us to a local beach the following day, grabbing mangoes and nuts from the trees. Breakfast was wonderful mix of their fruit plus delicious saltfish and bake and, of course, Anne's unbeatable banana bread. Come here if you want to meet St Lucia. It's not five-star in the hotel rating, but 5-star in every other aspect. Thank you both.

Tout est facile et facilité avec Eveline et Romule (communication rapide, claire, flexibilité, convivialité). Les photos sont fidèles si on lit aussi attentivement les commentaires ! C'est a dire que c'est encore mieux que sur les photos ! Quel plaisir de séjourner auprès d'hôtes accueillants, authentiques, attentionnés dans une maison avec une décoration personnalisée, plein de charme. La terrasse et ses commodités (plusieurs hamacs, plusieurs tables, salons de jardin) sont un p'tit coin de paradis ! Sans parler de la vue incroyable, de la faune et flore alentours, des chants de la nature ou des choix de qualité des hôtes de maison en matière de musique, de la lumière en permanence changeante, de la ventilation naturelle de toute la maison ( pas besoin de clim ! ) et surtout de la présence bienveillante, attentionnée d'Eveline et Romule. Merci a vous pour ces moments si agréables, les conseils, etc Bel emplacement également, St anne se révèle un petit bourg bien agréable !

My stay at white dove was almost perfect. The host was very friendly and helpful. She made sure we know everything about how to get in the town. The place has every amenities and the rooms are big and comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay. 10/10 recommend it

The place is in a quiet area, lots of lush vegetations around, and the hosts tried to help me with everything. If you travel without a car, the bus is a bit far and travel agencies don't pick up in that area. But I managed. The house is in Fond St Jacques, 5 km from Soufriere, there is a bus to town. Wifi was ok.

This place is so relaxing and beautiful to stay at! We loved our private balcony and felt so relaxed looking out to the water. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. We scheduled to have the dinner at the property which was very good-huge portions! Breakfast was good as well. Additionally, the pool was perfect and very refreshing. Make sure to note that there are many many stairs, which could be a greater challenge for some. Another positive of the space was that it was a quick and easy 10 minutes drive to the airport. Definitely would recommend again!

JJ's Paradise was one of our favorite locations we stayed at during our 1 month long holiday in St Lucia. Marigot Bay is not a place you stay for doing a lot of hiking; it is a great place to stay for relaxation and wonderful, lush setting. Our room was beautiful and came with two king-size beds - we really liked that one was firm and one was plush so we picked the plush one. The resort is really nice with a pool area that we spent a lot of time at. Mangrove restaurant onsite and on the water was actually the best restaurant of all the places we ate in Marigot Bay. The other stand out item was the free breakfast that came with our room every morning- it was really good and very filling!! Also, the staff, including JJ himself, Tricia, Roger our ferry driver (the ferry is also free) and Kerry who brought us to our next accommodation are all amazingly friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful stay! Very relaxing - enjoyed having breakfast on the patio every morning and a dip in the pool each day after coming back from exploring the region. Being able to order meals also a nice covenient plus and value. Hosts friendly and accomodating. Caron also kindly guided us through exploring the numerous plants and fruit trees on the property and was always available to share information.

I was extremely pleased so much so I booked another stay. The rental is exactly as shown in pics. The host thought of everything-coffee sugar all compliments provided shampoo lotions -the kitchen perfectly stocked with cookware dishes they even have electrical outlets that don’t require adapters to use! The rental is off the main road nestled on private grounds shared with the host -with a few other homes on the property. It was a very welcoming community everyone interacted with me were very friendly and caring -it felt like I was part of a family ! There is a store a vegetable stand and a restaurant that provided free breakfast on the grounds. The environment was cheerful with music always playing in the near distance -It was a great experience. When I checked out it felt like I was leaving family behind-anyone can furnish a rental and run a good business but only very few care beyond the business and from the heart treat you as and consider a guest as ‘family’ Amazing stay I recom

place is fresh and clean. we actually loved the smell of it and had to ask the owner what he used :). now we know his secret ha ha. easy to check in and out. host (s) were incredibly helpful ! very nice place

Lindel is a super proactive host who upgraded me to a nicer place last minute and wow was I impressed. The place was fully stocked and she was extremely considerate of me while I was there. The unit was super nice and I would definitely recommend her place — if you have a car or transportation, just due to the hill she’s on (which she provides a taxi). The Google maps pin is a road off so keep that in mind and call her if you have questions.

We had a very pleasant time at Brigitte. She helped us with a taxi from the airport and welcomed us when we arrived in the evening. We didn’t have a car for the first couple of days, but Brigitte helped us picking up some groceries, showed us the town and also helped us with car rental. We are very grateful for that. Everything in the apartment was nice and clean, and the view from the terrace is just absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend :) Best regards line and Christian

We had such a wonderful stay at Christine's place! She’s such a kind and caring host who went above and beyond to make our trip to St. Lucia special. When we arrived late at the ferry terminal, she was so thoughtful to pick us up in her car, and she even prepared a delicious dinner for us. The next morning, we enjoyed an amazing Creole breakfast with fried plantains and salted fish – it was unforgettable! Christine also took us to see her mother’s beautiful garden and helped us find a car for our stay. Her hospitality made our trip truly memorable. We highly recommend staying with Christine!

Lorraine est une hôte extraordinaire. Elle est très sympathique et particulièrement arrangeante. Elle vit au rez de chaussée de la villa et se rend disponible des que nécessaire. La propriété est très agréable avec une vue fantastique. Calme avec une brise fraîche sur les hauteurs de la pointe sud de Ste Lucie. Chambre confortable avec ventilateurs et salle de bains privative. Large salon, séjour et cuisine en commun. Très beau séjour avec une hôte / amie a nos cotes. A recommander.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The environment was peaceful. Everyone was incredibly friendly and offered us great travel advice. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent—delicious and definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

The Sisters (Nuns) were super kind and lovely. The rooms have A/C and private shower room but no TVs or fridge. Great delicious fresh breakfast every morning which was different every day. Evening meals are available at $15 USD per person if arranged in advance. A communal lounge is available on the ground floor with a small kitchenette and satalite TV available. The location is a Ideal base for a peaceful stay and while there is local buses available within 250 metres a car would be best for accessing all parts of the island. Not a place to party but wonderful place for a quiet relaxing stay with great views over Castries Bay.

Beautiful Caribbean property with beautiful views of the sea. Peaceful. Very nice guests from Europe and Martinique. Staff was pleasant. Cool AC in bedroom. Brigitte was very accommodating.
