The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t feel like dining out. The backyard was a perfect oasis for relaxing after a day at the beach, and the open layout made the entire space feel airy and inviting. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the pristine shores of Playa Avellanas, where we enjoyed peaceful mornings and breathtaking sunsets. This place was awesome! Did one night in one of the hotel rooms and then one room at the bigger house, amazing, bathrooms we're pristine, amazing location, the perfect weekend getaway!

Very nice view and amenities. Also well situated as far as things to do and in relation to some cool nearby POIs. Be sure to pick and choose your route to the place carefully – Google Maps/Waze may take you on a road with moderate washouts requiring 4WD/AWD and a higher clearance vehicle (mid-size SUV+).

We stayed at Diego’s place for 2 months (Jan & Feb) . It’s the best Airbnb we ever stayed. It’s located in the middle of his private jungle (4 acres), very secluded and peaceful, but close to restaurants, shopping and the beaches. The pictures are accurate and show the spacious, clean house full of light. Diego and Gabriela are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. Their house is on the same property which made communication very easy with instant response. We enjoyed the wildlife from the back porch, many birds and the little monkeys playing in the trees.

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

Beautiful spot! Looks just like the pictures! Arbel and his staff are very friendly. Great surfing - the girls loved it! Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the thoughtful goodies that were left for us to enjoy by the host. The views off the patio were priceless. We had a van we used during our visit. The drive up the dirt hill to the location was challenging but doable. I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking. The host was kind and gave local recommendations. We'd be back and recommend this airbnb to our friends.

Oscar's apartment is the perfect getaway from the crowds in Monteverde. This hidden nature cottage offers peace and privacy, with a fantastic kitchen and an incredibly comfortable bed. The view into the garden and the added bonus of a Jacuzzi make the experience extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

This is a wonderful location in Tamarindo near Playa Longosta. Cassie and Rob were very responsive and helpful with great recommendations in the area. They were also very accommodating with some last minute changes we requested. The home is located at the "end" of the main portion of Tamarindo so you are so close to all the action without the noise and chaos of the downtown area. We rented a golf cart while staying and it was no more than 7 minutes to ALL the activities we were interested in. (I would highly recommend surf lessons from Iguana Surf). You can easily get to multiple beach locations and have easy access to a quieter beach area just across the street from the home. Everything you could need is accessible in the house and the night security guard was a nice feature although we felt safe the entire time. While this home is not directly on the beach, you will not be disappointed with its location, amenities or surroundings, I promise.

Beautiful house.. super specious bedroom are big good since each room has it own bathroom, kitchen fully equipped, clean and comfortable mattress, beautiful views.. very quiet private area it has its own private beach also a mini Market very convenient 20-25 mm to down town. We had a great time

We enjoy a lot to spend holidays in this place, is peaceful, beautiful and confortable, I really recommend Villa Corazon. Looking forward to come back soon.

Stephen's villa was amazing. My family and I ( 2 teen children and 1 husband) stayed for 8 wonderful nights and we were sad to leave...back to chilly Canada. As others have mentioned, Stephen's place is well stocked with kitchen necessities, spices, coffee etc.... I loved waking up every morning and having my coffee on the patio. We saw birds, cats and our friend, Lizzie the lizard every morning. There were lots of monkeys down by the beach in the mornings. We alternated between going to restaurants for dinner and cooking at home. We never did eat at any of the villa sol restaurant. The only negative, which is by no means Stephen's fault is the night time raccoons. They prevented us from eating dinner on the patio outdoors. By night four though, we started playing music on our speaker, and it seemed to keep them at bay. I would 100% recommend Stephen's place and would not hesitate to stay again.

Surprisingly well decorated house! Glenda, if you are the creative force behind the design and decor of this place, you are to be commended! There were 5 women in my group and the “aesthetic” was of their dreams. Amazing that so much function and cool vibe was able to fit under that one roof. Fully functional kitchen, hot tub, and grill were great amenities. The logo towels were a nice touch. So many good things. Great job.

We had an amazing stay this location! The condo was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Best place we’ve ever stayed! We enjoyed 3 incredible nights at Casa Blue, watching the most brilliant sunsets from the infinity edge pool overlooking the jungle and the water. This place is even better than the photos, and Alejandra and the staff are very helpful with recommendations and cleaning every day. The villa is private atop a hill, and there are 2 20-25min routes to drive into town in Tamarindo, one that has a dirt road part and one route that is all on main streets. The two bungalows provided privacy and the 3 bedrooms inside the main house were very aesthetic and comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen was very well equipped for regular cooking and with supplies for a private chef. The pool was cleaned daily and the hot tub was great to star gaze from. Highly recommend!

11 of us stayed at Jean Marc’s home for 9 days and enjoyed it. It was spacious and clean. Xeomara and Luca, the housekeeper and property manager were very helpful. We had preplanned many activities, but Luca checked in with us daily to see if we needed help setting anything up. We could walk to the beach or restaurants, but rented golf carts for our time since it was rainy and humid. With the crazy humidity, the air conditioning worked great and it was always refreshing to come home to.

We had a family of four and stayed in Monteverde for 2 nights here. The airbnb was easy to find with the clear instructions from the host and place was very clean. It is just a few minutes drive from all the restaurants and shops and next to a night tour as well. The kitchen was well furbished and we were able to cook a meal and drink some wine in the comfort of the airbnb. The host was very responsive and had great suggestions and also offered to book tours for us. We would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Erick’s place. Everything from the homemade banana bread to the incredible views and jacuzzi, stargazing in the hammock to the location near the town and shops. We would recommend this place to anyone without a doubt. Erick’s family were so hospitable and it was really nice to support a Costa Rican family. We hope to return someday to those unforgettable sunset views.

The view from the cabin is absolutely phenomenal!! We could have spent our entire visit enjoying the view, especially with such amazing sunsets/sunrises. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful furnishings and a nice new hot tub. Alexander is a truly generous host, going above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, and he was an excellent and proactive communicator. We appreciated all of the local recommendations he provided for the Monteverde area, including some great restaurants and hiking. We hope to return one day and highly recommend staying here!!

Wonderful cabin! It was our first stay in Costa Rica and we loved it. We used the hot tub but didn’t get a chance to use the sauna since we were busy adventuring. Highly recommend this place.

Die Unterkunft von Paul ist ein kleines Juwel, eingebettet in die umliegende Natur. Vor allem die Ruhe, die freundliche Kommunikation und den Kontakt zu Pauls Tieren haben wir sehr zu schätzen gewusst. Wer hier übernachtet, sollte aber keine Berührungsangst haben, was Hunde, Spinnen, Eidechsen und Frösche anbelangt :) Perfekt für Naturliebhaber und Menschen, die gerne campen 🏕️

What an excellent stay. My boyfriend and I could have not picked a more perfect choice. You are surrounded by the rainforest on a private lot with a jacuzzi on the back porch. There are trails in the backyard to explore, wildlife to watch and listen too, and the peacefulness of no one around you. You are close enough to town where you can drive for anything you might need/food etc. It was an amazing stay and we are already missing it!
