We were happy with our choice to stay here: the space was huge, comfortable and clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Prior the trip, the host went out of her way to helpful, answer questions, help us make bookings for multiple things , and remained communicative throughout the stay. I was very impressed. Breakfast was worth it - delicious. The only warning I would give is for those with young / nervous children - the place, seemingly isolated in the forest (although it is actually within easy walking distance to a nice restaurant that we went to daily - Nativo - as well as several others), is so big that the bedrooms are quite far apart and as we were there on a windy night the sounds and feel of it were a little bit eyrie for our son who ended up sleeping with us in our bed on the first night. He got used to it after that and was fine.

Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

La Casa Margarita was everything it was listed to be. It has an open layout with a creative floor plan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, plans, cutlery, & storage containers, as well as blenders, toaster oven, and other cooking appliances. We had no trouble accessing the property, but 4-wheel drive would be advisable – both for here and for accessing some of the beach locations. Waze/Google get you close, but you will need to be shown the last turns the first time. The Paraiso grocery store next to the soccer field carries most of the basics you will need. Although we have been to CR about 10 times, this was our first time in the Guanacaste region. It was hot (90F+) and dry. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze and the heat never felt oppressive. Few bugs, and those that were there weren’t of the biting kind. Howler monkeys were easily visible from the decks almost every day & Turquoise-browed Motmot, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, & Streaked-backed Oriole were frequent visitors.

I have stayed at many AirBnBs, this might be my favorite of all time. The design of the house was incredible, in a really cool location tucked off of the street. We saw Coatis right in the back yard as soon as we arrived! The amenities were perfect, the location was great, and it had everything we needed. Including a dryer! We couldn't recommend this place more! We rarely visit a place twice, but if we are ever near Monteverde again, we will surely be staying here again.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings and the views are stunning. Lots of wildlife! The cabin and all of the common spaces are so well thought out. You can tell a lot of intention was put into every detail. Very good energy here and I felt very welcome. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They had an event going on and family in town, but still took time to accommodate us. I was fortunate to do some treatments with Anne. She has such a calming presence and her spa is beyond! She has very unique, advanced offerings! Samantha was also super sweet and helpful and has a very good knowledge of Costa Rica and gave great recommendations. I will definitely return to this place and I would love to plan a retreat and come back with a group. Thank you for everything :)!

Overall loved this stay. Lovely to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. Unpaved road to get to the home. The house is beautiful and the indoor outdoor concept is very cool. Very private, although we were surprised that a caretaker (?) lives on the property as well and was present to check us in despite the property being labeled as self check in. Really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, including oil and salt and pepper. Loved the yoga mats and towels. A/C in the bedrooms worked great. Only complaint was that the only shower (outdoor) had hot and cold water that couldn’t be combined - it was either scorching hot or ambient temperature. While it was quite warm out when we visited, this could be an issue in cooler weather.

This Airbnb was perfect for my family of 4. Great location, clean and right in the rain forest. Would recommend staying here.

Beautiful surroundings and unique location! A squirrel visited us on the balcony. As people who love sourcing local ingredients and cooking while traveling, we enjoyed preparing meals in this private cabin with a fully equipped kitchen. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and the Frog Pond Ranario are just a few minutes’ drive away. During our stay, it was so windy that tree trunks hit the cabin, making loud noises. However, we stayed at two different Airbnbs in Monteverde, and both places were like this. I’d say it’s not their problem—it's just Monteverde being Monteverde😄. The shower water was warm but not quite hot enough. However, the mattress and bedding were 10/10 comfortable!

La Tiny Jungle est une expérience unique pour tous les amoureux de la nature. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits avec nos deux filles et nous sommes enchantés : la vue est imprenable, on se retrouve en pleine nature, et pourtant rien ne manque , tout est pensé et décoré avec soin. Raquel et son compagnon sont adorables De plus , on trouvé une très belle plage à peine à 5 minutes . Nous recommandons vivement !!!

We have just spent three wonderful, relaxing days at Laura’s Tree House. Lots of lovely walks around the area and plenty of wildlife to see! A very nice bar/restaurant five minutes away on foot called De Lucia, well worth a visit. Laura was very responsive and friendly and even brought us Valentines wine, chocolate & flowers which was lovely & much appreciated! 🥰

Thank you for hosting us! This was an unforgettable vacation before our little one arrives. The location is remote, with no TV, so expect to spend quality time together—just the way it should be! Despite that, it truly feels like a home away from home. The house is impeccably clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything you might need, from a garbage disposal to a salad spinner. There are no neighbors except for some playful monkeys! Plus, there are a few surprisingly great restaurants nearby—be sure to try the ceviche at Locos Cocos!

We loved staying at this Airbnb in the trees. We didn't have a car, and I was a little worried it might be hard to be based here. It turned out to be no problem at all - most activities in Monteverde offer to pick you up for a small fee if you need a ride, and this Airbnb happens to be situated on the way to almost everything we did. We were always the last picked up and the first dropped off, so it worked out really well. It was also super easy to call taxis there. Vero and Mau are very thoughtful and really equipped the place with everything we might have needed. For full disclosure I need to mention that the construction noise was present for what seemed like all daylight hours for while we were there. I don't think it's fair to deduct a star for something that is clearly not the fault of the owners, but the construction noise definitely detracted from the magic. Hopefully it will be done soon and not affect future guests - this place is really amazing.

The house is all you could wish for and beyond ! Seriously amazing ! Stayed one month and there is nothing to say regarding the house and location. Definitely worth to enjoy this place

We had a wonderful time at the tree house. You can see that everything is arranged with love and it was also very clean. From the balcony you can enjoy the atmosphere, listen to the sound of nature and spot some wildlife. We would have stayed longer if we had more time. Definitely can recommend this accommodation :) Also Edwin was very helpful and it was easy to communicate.

Very peaceful and comfortable place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the area. Crista was very responsive and very helpful. Having a 4x4 is definitely recommended.

LOVED the treehouse. My boyfriend and I stayed for one lovely day/night. It was a fantastic place to birdwatch and upon talking to some locals in town, knew to bring wine/supplies for dinner and breakfast. We had an excellent evening spending time with each other and the beautiful motmot bird that would often perch on our deck and in front of the kitchen window. In the late afternoon we took a nap to the gentle swaying of the tree and the sound of the light rain, birds and monkeys in the distance. It truly was a perfect way to end our weeklong trip. Thank you for hosting us!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was a great hidden gem away from the bustle of Monteverde but also within close proximity to everything in town. The Airbnb was spotless and had everything two people would need on a multiday stay. The unique Airbnb gave us a peaceful place to unwind after a busy day of visiting the local reserves. Edwin Jesus was a great host who met us when we arrived and showed us to our lodging. He was very responsive and provided excellent advice on what to do and see. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
