This home is beautiful and spacious. If you’re looking for a private more secluded area this is perfect for you. We were able to fit comfortably and the house had everything we needed. Diane and the concierge team were very responsive before and during the trip.

Lovely home very spacious and fully equipped from top to bottom. Super comfortable. Great beds and luxurious sheets. Beautiful pool. Wildlife everywhere! Howler monkeys and beautiful birds. And some amazing iguanas

Very nice villa. Playa Carillo is absolutely beautiful and the villa was close to the beach and had great space and a wonderful kitchen for cooking. The parking is convenient and the pool and garden are beautiful.

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

We had a great time at Julia's house and everything was flawless, from the initial communication to check-out. Julia's place is well appointed, very clean and exceptionally quiet with an awesome view. Kevin was great and checked us in and took care of us for the week and always available for any questions or recommendations. Would highly recommend a stay at Julia's for as long as you can. Thanks again and hopefully we will be back soon.

Our stay at Heather's place was absolutely spectacular, the kids really enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the amazingly breathtaking views of Playa flamingo. What an absolute treasure is this casa on the hill. Every detail was taken care of by the lovely concierge, Karina, including our groceries delivered and fridge stocked, easy airport transfers arranged, rental car delivered to the house, and even hiring a private chef for special dietary needs. She organized excursions for us to snorkel on a private boat, spend the day at Diamante Adventure Eco Park, complete with an awe-inspiring hipline adventure and Wildlife Sanctuary tour, lunch included. I cannot say enough for the wonderful host in creating one of the best vacations ever. Thank you to Heather and Karina for your wonderful loving care.

Sébastian was an amazing host and offered a beautiful home for my family and I. He was very responsive and friendly upon arrival. We had no issues with our stay and are very happy and hope to return here someday! Sébastian also recommended great local restaurants that we were lucky enough to try!

My family enjoyed our stay. It’s within walking distance to the beach where you can see beautiful sunsets. The beach is not swimmable bc it is rocky but nevertheless beautiful. Howler monkeys and beautiful birds every day! I would recommend renting a car or golf cart because the property is so big. Getting in and out of the neighborhood was a little bit of a challenge because it is extremely safe and uber can’t just drive in. We hired a driver for the week so we were fine. Others who rent in the area rented a car. Worth every penny, the property is absolutely beautiful and the home had everything we needed. Very comfortable! We will be back.

Overall amazing house in a secure location. It is a 2 minute walk to an American style grocery store which was very helpful. The pool and house were clean. The host, in particular, was very responsive and always available. Can’t recommend it enough.

From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip. They went above and beyond by coordinating a private chef and arranging shuttles to and from the airport, making our experience completely stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was Shirley, who took such great care of us. She made us delicious breakfasts on two mornings and kept the house spotless every day. She was so sweet and welcoming—it felt like having a family member looking after us! The host was also incredibly flexible with our requests and always quick to assist whenever we had a question. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our trip unforgettable. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you’ll be in great hands! Would absolutely stay here again. Magical Place Our week in Maria’s home was absolutely magical. Situated at the end of a sandy cove, we had excellent ocean access and amazing privacy. The home was so comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms and breezy, beautiful living spaces in the rest of the house, deep decks with plenty of seating for meals, and tiny little spots under trees and bushes scattered throughout the ample yard. Our three generation gathering relished the pool, the beach, the yard games, and plenty of board games and art projects throughout the week. Maria’s recommendations for cooks and transportation were excellent. Maria was shockingly responsive…even sending someone over with two bags of ice when the ice-maker was a little slow for our needs. We were blessed with regular sightings of monkeys, lizards, birds, crabs, and dragonflies. We were so lucky to come upon this magical place that fully met all our needs, and exceeded our expectations.

I can't say enough about this place. It was even more beautiful than the photos. The location was amazing - right on the beach and walkable to all of Tamarindo's restaurants and activity. Yet it felt safe and quiet. The house was beautiful, the staff friendly, and the pool a welcome break from the beach. I would give it 10 stars if I could. And Nick was amazingly responsive to every question and request we gave.

We loved our stay at Villa Guacamaya Roja! There was plenty of space for our whole family and the pool was great for when we wanted to cool off without walking to the beach. Everything is a 5-10 minute walk to the house- restaurants, surf shops, the beach, and a mini mart that manages to have a little of everything. The folks in the surf community were friendly and being that close to the national Park was incredible. Barak and Eunju were incredibly responsive and helpful hosts and the You Are Costa Rica folks were so easy to work with to have a variety of adventures! We can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful and spotless house, walking distance to downtown Tamarindo. Loved the pool too. The host gave great recommendations for live music, shows and great food.

Amazing luxury home. Beautifully designed and appointed. Nathalie was a responsive and helpful host and her staff was excellent and friendly. Convenient to town and the private back and pool was wonderful. Our family of 6 (adults) had a memorable and wonderful vacation at Casa Bo. Main area is not air conditioned but all the bedrooms are which was just fine. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful hilltop house with an infinity pool! The two bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect, and the property was well-maintained. As my family gets ready to end our trip to Costa Rica, we are filled with gratitude. We started our trip at Kaya Villa and it was exactly what we needed for our family of four to unwind. Before we arrived, we had time to check out the local guide they put together, which was full of recommendations on everything from places to eat to get surfing lessons, etc. The hosts were beyond hospitable, waiting at the front gate to welcome us into the space and had a cheesecake waiting in the fridge. The home was exactly as advertised and was an easy walk to the beach and a number of resteraunts. Though they set us up nicely, the hosts were super responsive, even seeming to anticipate questions. Playa Avallena is definitely experiencing a surge in construction, including outside the gates of the home, but we found it a relaxing oasis and just what we needed. We will definitely be back. Gracias!!!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home! The view is stunning. It's only a 5 minute drive into town and to the beach. I wouldn't personally consider it walkable if you have kids with you, as you have to walk on a busy winding road to get into town, but the drive is easy and we never had any trouble finding parking. Luis was very friendly and came right out when we had an issue with the shower draining. We asked him for a recommendation for horseback riding in the area and he gave us Rene's info by Playa Carrillo and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We absolutely fell in love with Samara and plan to return next year. The pool is starting to show some wear and tear but was still a great place to cool off in the afternoons.

Great place and host. Had one thing, but the host got on it immediately and made it right. I’d recommend this place.

The only issue we had was upon arrival we could not get access to the house as the cleaning lady mistakenly took the keys home with her. Our neighbor helped us out by calling Raymond and locating a key for us...a slight mishap. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Raymond was very quick to answer all our questions and provide recommendations for restaurants. The location was great, very quiet and rural. Access to a few of the beaches just a short drive away ( 5 mins). The place was superb. very clean and well taken care of. The pool was great! Would highly recommend the surrounding restaurants as the food was delicious. Very authentic. The local grocery stores carry majority of your needs. Overall the hosts were fantastic and we had a fabulous time. So happy we chose this place and should we return to that part of Costa Rica again would definitely go there. Highly recommend it!!

El condominio es precioso muy tranquilo con playa privada, restaurante y supermercado no hubo necesidad de salir fuera la casa muy linda mejorada a las fotos de la publicidad y Laura siempre estuvo pendiente a mis consultas y muy amable me permitió estar con mis 4 perritos eso fue lo mejor definitivamente queremos regresar gracias por dejarnos estar en su casa nos encanto

Shannon’s place had a spectacular view overlooking both Carillo and Samara beaches. We saw macaws, howlers, and tons of birds. The small plunge pool was nice for a cool dip during the warm afternoons. The shower in the master was amazing-you could watch sunsets from it! The only recommendation I would make is to maybe have a couple of lounging chairs and an umbrella on the deck. There are other chairs for sitting though. Also, very easy to get to! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
