What a gorgeous place! The view is phenomenal! Bill was super friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Bill invited my 9 year old to help feed the fish in the mornings, which was awesome. The house was nice and clean as described. There was fresh fruit in a basket, as well as a platter of cut up fruit waiting for us when we got there. Bill had a bunch of things you can use at the beaches…. Chairs, coolers, snorkels, you name it he thought of it. It was a pleasure to stay there!

Mornings were peaceful and afternoons were a vibe while beach goes blasted music and shared the beach. Everyone was respectful. With all the amenities at the house you really don’t have to leave. Kids loved paddle boarding and kayaking to the island not to far. The kitchen is stocked with seasons and they everything you need to cook or make a smoothie. Super market 3 min drive away and a few restaurants walking distance away from oysters to lechon.

Second time and we love this little place!! Out of the normal tourist area and close to everything you could need!!

Our stay was exactly as explained and was unbelievable! In 10 steps from the porch your toes are walking in the sand. The peaceful little bay was enchanting and quiet. We even were able to snorkel! Javier is very responsive and had an organized guest recommendation book to share. The condo’s neighbors are so quiet we through we were alone. The street is a bit noisy, but we quickly relaxed with the strong breezes and gorgeous views. I’ve already shared this place with friends to book their vacation. Don’t hesitate - book here! We have traveled to many places and would return here in a heartbeat.

Muy limpio y organizado. A solo pasos de la vida nocturna que te ofrece el poblado. Y cuando quieres descansar lo puedes hacer sin ningún problema porque no molesta el ruido de los negocios del poblado. Sin duda alguno volver muy pronto. Agradecido de los anfitriones por todos los detalles y la comunicación excelente que tuvo desde antes de mi llegada.

Mark was a great communicator and very responsive to our messages. House had everything we needed and an amazing view. Relaxing to the ocean waves was a perfect way to spend our time there. Great area with some really good restaurants within walking distance at the top of the hill. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to others!

La anfitriona Yesenia cuenta con una propiedad perfecta para vacacional o descansar, pienso que las fotos no le hacen justicia a la descripción o vida real pues la propiedad es super grande y mejor de lo que se describe y observa . La misma provee todo lo que necesitas para hospedarte en cuestión de materiales de uso diario, super limpia, la piscina accesible literalmente abres la puerta y tienes acceso, añadiendo un area de juegos de niños. La ubicación es estratégica, cerca de playas, farmacias y estaciones de gasolina. Añadiendo que acepta menores de edad siempre y cuando te responsabilices. Yesenia es una anfitriona que demuestra calidez humana ante cualquier situación surgida, antes de ser negociante o anfitriona pude notar que es muy accesible en cuestión de comunicación, inspira confianza y personas asi merecen progresar en la vida. Sam was a great host and super responsive. The air mattress didn’t work but Sam was right there with an extra. The location is so beautiful and close to a lot of great restaurants and a grocery store (next to the gas station). We can’t wait to come back!

Stay here! We booked a room with only a queen bed and when we got there he offered us the 2 room suite upstairs because no one else had booked it and we had our 6 month old with us. We originally saw that listing but it was a bit out of our price range and we couldn’t be more thankful for the extra space! Each space is very private yet the common areas are a 10/10. The kitchen…omg that kitchen. It is every chefs dream and we are remodeling our at home currently and I have since changed so many things I want to do because of using his! The pool is perfect to hang outat!There’s a gorgeous privateish beach is literally on the property’s edge. There are gardens with gazebos to to relax in. The very small town is perfect as there are maybe 2-3 businesses and gorgeous beaches to choose from and a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. Robert was so sweet and spent time chatting with us about real estate and life by the pool. We even offered to buy the place if he decides to re-retire😜

Great location and beautiful property. Short walk or drive to an amazing beach- playa Santa. Also short distance to other activities and restaurants.

The best relaxing weekend! Robert and Nancy were lovely hosts, and I enjoyed having free rein of the property- I visited Playa Mangillo, the dry forest, and some other nearby beaches. The location is great for snorkeling and kayaking, and Robert very kindly helped me get the kayak in and out of the water. The house is spacious and clean, and the hammock outside my room was a nice touch. I will definitely come back should I go to Guanica again.

Wow! We had only two days to enjoy the Pelicans Suite but we will definitely be coming back in the near future. Nancy and Robert are fantastic hosts and so are their two dogs! The little beach next door to the property was like being on a deserted island. The wind was refreshing until it decided to relocate my board shorts. Even then Robert and others put out an Amber Alert for them. No luck tho. Can’t say enough great things about this Airbnb obviously!! Treasures of the Sea which is a local restaurant just down the hill - we would not endorse as the food was so so and the venue is a parking lot with no ambiance, even tho you’re located right next to the beach. Go to Umami’s instead!

You really can’t beat the location. Super close to everything, mini market close by, and walkable to downtown and activities. The place is clean and modern and Nataly was so kind and responsive. A few things: check in was a little confusing, but we finally got in with help from Nataly. Kitchen does not have condiments (salt, oil…etc), so make sure you bring or buy those things if you plan on cooking.

The location was perfect, with many nearby attractions or conveniences. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Joel and their property highly enough.

Really nice little beachside apartment, very quiet, really comfortable bed as well. Host was great at communication and helped us out a bunch, would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. Everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable. Host provided everything we needed from beach towels to even a cooler to take to the beach. washer and dryer was a plus. Great location close to all the places we planned to visit while there. Communication was great. Host was very pleasant and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at the condo in Ensenada close to Playa Santa. If you're looking for something close to a beautiful beach at an affordable price, it would be hard to beat this location! Playa Santa and the nearby Playa La Jungla are both beautiful and easy to get to (you can technically walk to both though Playa La Jungla would be a bit of a trek). The town was a bit sleepy during the week, but really livened up over the weekends. I used the location as a homebase for some baseball games in Ponce, and it was easy to make trips to Ponce, San German, and La Parguera to discover more of the region's highlights (the Bio Bay, the colonial architecture, a rum tour). A previous review did mention that it's a little dark in the condo and that's a fair assessment, but it was so easy to get outside and explore. I would definitely stay there again!

The home was just as described and the views from the back deck of playa Santa were fantastic. The neighborhood is bustling and lively with many restaurants along the beach.

Robert has created a modern, spacious and comfortably furnished haven just steps from a small and protected sandy beach. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The huge kitchen makes it easy for several people to work in it at one time. Although it has air conditioning, we often enjoyed just using some of the many ceiling fans to stay cool, and also enjoyed watching the sunset amidst the seabreezes under the rooftop pavilion. It is an excellent option for couples traveling together or for families. The location is a great jumping off place for visiting Yauco, La Parguera, San German, and Mayaguez, but note that the neighborhood is secluded and offers a limited selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet and relaxed place to stay on the south coast.
