Place was great! We loved the pac n play so our son could sleep and we didn’t have to bring one on the plane.

We had a great time at the Villa and would highly recommend it. The hosts gave lots of helpful advice and were available whenever I had a question. They were very generous hosts, proactively offering us early check-in and providing a home that was full of everything we needed, such as lots of towels and robes, blankets and pillows. The house is an easy walk to river access or downtown Guerneville, in a quiet wooded setting without traffic or neighbor noise. House amenities like the hot tub and grill were top quality. The river was too high for us to use them, but the house also came with a very impressive number of kayaks, canoes and paddles. It was great for a Misty spring retreat, but would be an amazing summer spot too!

We had a family party and good times were had. The location is near to the Rio Nido Roadhouse and easily walkable.

Perfect house to connect with our kids, grandkids and granddogs. Plenty of room, everything was clean and the beach was fantastic. We would definitely rent this house again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stace's retreat! The peaceful surroundings made for the perfect little getaway, and we loved being so close to the Russian River. The house had everything we could possibly need—well-stocked amenities, super comfortable beds, and even fun games to enjoy together. One of the highlights was definitely the fantastic hot tub, where we could relax under the towering trees. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for a perfect stay. Thank you for hosting us—we can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect location for exploring the Sonoma area. Petaluma itself is a charming town, and Greg's place is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that allows easy access to everyplace but feels private. The home has everything visitors could want--without unnecessary distractions--and was comfortable and super-clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, access to the washer/dryer after a muddy hike, and the beautiful landscaping. This was an A+ stay for sure, and Greg was helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Thank you!

We stayed at Serena’s place on a last-min getaway and really enjoyed our stay. The house is in the middle of a mini redwoods grove, which makes it very special. The decoration and construction centrals around wood as materials, creating a cabin feel to it without the cramped space of an actual cabin. Heated bathroom floor and smart thermostat deserve a special shoutout! We saw a BBQ setting in the backyard and thought it must be nice to use in the summer (we visited during winter time). Serena is so knowledgeable and communicative - we got all we needed and some during our stay. Gurneville by itself doesn’t have tons to do in my personal opinion but it is a great base for exploration (Jenner for beaches and Healdsburg/ Santa Rosa for wines, both 20-30 mins away). We will be back! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a serene getaway with loved ones.

Great place, great area, as described. Host was extremely easy to communicate with. We do this trip once a year and will be looking to stay here next year.

Not much else you can say other than the word surreal. What a peaceful and stunning environment. Keep in mind you should definitely rent a car if you stay here, but it’s not too far from many incredible and unique towns in the area. If I could give this a 10/5 I would. An extra perk is having Hazel the cat come visit you at various points in the day. The pictures don’t even do the view justice. We had the best time and will be recommending this to anyone that tells us they want to visit Sanoma.

Me and my friends were here to celebrate our bride who is getting married soon. We wanted something chill and peaceful and this place was perfect for that :)

Great location, steps to a treat among the trees

Great relaxing home. The beds are comfortable and the interior is well appointed. Location is right on the river and has a great view of the redwoods and the river. Home is a bit older and kitchen supplies (knives and such) are a bit run down but nothing major to complain about. All in all a great stay and nice property.

Lydia and David's place exceeded expectations! The house is super well designed, cozy, and well appointed with the perfect amount of space for a small group. Comfy beds, great living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. We also loved the dining room nook! The location is convenient to town and anything we needed was a short drive away. I'm sure it's even better in the summer when you can enjoy the outdoor space and walk to the river for a swim.

This was our second time staying at The Hideout, and it was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The space is exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect, with easy access to nature and nearby gems. And Aggie is an incredible host—so kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and inviting place to stay, we can’t recommend The Hideout enough. We’ll definitely be back again!

Had a lovely two days at Timber Cove Hideaway. We love going to Timber Cove Resort in nearby Jenner...and I can say that this is a similar experience (amazing view, cool vibe, great location) but you get ALSO get a whole house, kitchen, deck, hot tub grill, privacy, etc. at a better price. The view is even better than what I expected from the pictures. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked: condiments, coffee, more appliances than I have at home, flour, sugar, (I could have baked a cake there). The fenced in porch was excellent for our dog. It was so cozy to have the wood burning furnace while we watched the sunset (the furnace and vent system seemed really high end). The 12pm checkout time was probably my favorite feature, we felt like we got an extra day. 10/10 for bird watching (lots of woodpeckers) and they have a set of binoculars which we used to look for whales. Loved hearing the croaking frogs at night. Would definitely recommend!

The description is as perfect as the home is in real life! Clean, adorable and situated within a lovely neighborhood. The hosts were SO accommodating and kind with a last minute date change and were easy to get in contact with. Our kids LOVED the backyard and the neighborhood park. Mom and dad loved how embedded in nature the home was. Lovely, cozy stay and experience!

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

Top notch all around! This little cottage has beautiful views, is perfectly located on a quiet neighborhood that is super close to anything you might want. If that isn’t enough, the house is beautifully appointed and decorated, with comfortable beds, top-notch hot tub, and a kitchen that truly has anything you need. We like to cook and we often feel frustrated at other AirBnBs, but at Mystic Cottage there was everything we needed and more! Aaaand to top it all, Alex was not only extra nice in our exchanges, with fast responses when we had questions, but he also left us a welcome note and bottle of bubbles on arrival. 100% recommend!

Cindy's place is by far one of the best Airbnb's we've rented. (And we're frequent travelers/Airbnb users). The cottage itself couldn't have been more cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The touches throughout really enhanced the "in the redwoods" experience of being on the Russian River and in beautiful Sonoma County. The hot tub was a huge plus. Most of all, we adored the location; quiet and serene, yet so close to Anderson Redwood Preserve, Sonoma Coast Beaches, Guerneville and it's burgeoning restaurant scene, Bodega Bay, Occidental, Sebastopol, wineries, and our favorite, Osmosis Spa. We're already looking forward to (and crossing our fingers that there will be availability next year. We are motivated to make this an annual trip!! Just fantastic!!
