We really enjoyed staying at Frank’s place….very peaceful and quiet….definitely a gem! The pathway and stairs to the apartment were very well lit, as was the interior. I loved having night lights throughout the space. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean, comfortable and cozy. This will be our first choice when staying in the Greensboro/High Point area!

We originally had reservations at a different AirBnB which canceled on us at the last minute. We were lucky to find this available as it was move in weekend at Elon University so there wasn't much available in the area. The hosts were great and so friendly! My husband and I enjoyed a wine tasting of the attached vineyards wine, the selections were unique and of excellent quality (we bought several for gifts and to serve at Thanksgiving!). We had dinner at The Celtic Fringe on Saturday (reservations required) which was also amazing ... We did not expect to find such treasures hidden in the hills of NC ... we will be back in September for Elon's family weekend, visiting Bryan and the Grove Vineyards and Winery will be a top priority!

Our extended family was attending a wedding in Stokesdale, NC where accommodations were scarce. We had 3 families within and had all the amenities to make getting ready for the wedding easy. Jiaji was also very responsive. The fire alarm had a drained battery and kept beeping. She was out of town but did manage to have her neighbor come to swap out the battery which was very much appreciated! For those that are looking for a big house for a family event, this house would do well. However, if you’re looking for a house to enjoy for entertainment purposes, you may be disappointed. The area is extremely quiet, remote with minimal lighting. Restaurants are a bit of a drive and non-walkable. The backyard doesn’t have enough lighting to spend time in after dark and no pool table or games to occupy kids inside the house. For our wedding purposes it worked well and Jiaji was a great host and we appreciated the hospitality.

Terry was amazing! We used his beautiful and spacious home for a holiday reunion for my husband's side of the family. Terry was happy to accomodate the group. He was very responsive and adapted to change well! The home is in a very quiet area. It was perfect for our gathering. I would recommend that guests be cautious upon entering the driveway if you have a low sitting vehicle. If you travel to the home during the winter season, I would recommend having someone go at check-in and turn on the heat. Then grocery shop, sit down at a restaurant and eat. Do something for a little while so the home can warm up. Because the house is big and a two-story, it took a while for the heat to circulate. Also, there is only one TV in the living room. If you need television to sleep, I would suggest bringing your own or just using your phone. The home was very clean and the neighbors were polite. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a quiet and spacious home to spend time with family.

Timothy was one of the nicest host I have experienced! We needed a later checkout due to flight time changes and he accommodated with no problem. Would definitely book again.

Such a wonderful, warm, comfortable, fully stocked house. We wanted for nothing. Super clean, beautifully decorated, and in a quiet neighborhood. We had a fantastic stay. The kids loved the pool. We caught up on sleep, breaking away from the chaos of work life for a few days of relaxation and visiting family. Wonderful host, perfect in all regards. Hope to have an excuse to visit High Point in the near future.

I lived in this house ten years ago. it felt like home then and still feels like home. very quaint and homey!

We had a very relaxing weekend trip at this beautiful lakeside retreat! It is well-maintained and equipped with creature comforts that made our stay fun and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque views, lake access, kayaks and how open and airy the A-frame cottage was. We were also very happy that they had a crib for our little one. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

We truly enjoyed a peaceful, beautiful retreat at the Cottage on the Lake. The kitchen was well equipped, the space was perfect for two people, the outdoor furniture was inviting and comfortable, the birds and flowers were very lovely.

House is beautiful, just as described. Christopher has instructions for everything clearly printed out. The floors and bathrooms were immaculate. Nice appliances and start up items. Many cozy spaces to relax and enjoy family. Fishing off the dock was great, we caught a couple of nice size catfish. The amount of stairs could be challenging if leaving place often, but great for exercise if you’re into that. Other than that a definite 5-star stay. Thanks Christopher and Crystal we loved the cottage.
