The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

This is a wonderful find and Jane is a wonderful host. Genuinely spacious place with lovely decoration, spotlessly clean. I appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful touches that meant we could settle straight in. We had everything we could possibly need, and a very warm welcome. We only stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) but could very happily have stayed for an extended period. Thank you Jane for the care you take, and for sharing your lovely place with visitors.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Had a fantastic stay here. A family of 4 (2 teen boys), my brother in law and 2 dogs. Great location - an easy walk into town and very quiet too. The host was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable - lovely fresh, clean and crisp white linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Whitby.

Just got back from a great little break at the cottage the place is stunning and has everything you need. Clean and tidy. A great shower and lots of massive towels. Love how it’s dog friendly and In a lovely area with places to eat and drink right on your doorstep and the coast is just a short drive away highly recommend if your in the area thanks

Fantastic location to explore Whitby. The house is beautiful and very homely. We booked as a family, and the kids (age 2 and 8) loved the toys available, which we didnt expect at all. You have an alley opposite the house which leads straight to the beach, you can see the sea from the living room window! If you do have limited mobility in anyway, I would say this isn't a suitable house to stay. The access is via a cobbled street and stairs are very steep. They offer stairs gates for young children, which is amazing. There isn't any parking, but you can drive to the cottage, unload and then we parked at Abbey Farm which is opposite the Abbey. Cost us £5 for all day parking, access back to the cottage is via the 199 steps which provides amazing views across Whitby and is fantastic exercise! All in all, an amazing location and superb property, would definitely recommend.

A lovely, spacious house, with all the amenities we needed. Great location, lots of pubs, restaurants etc in the area. We had a great family stay.

We had a wonderful break - Rosie’s cottages are just gorgeous, five stars all the way. Beautifully appointed, furnished and so central in the heart of such a lovely village Stokesley. Everything was easy to get too and lots of restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. Rosie was so welcoming as a host - lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches, pristine condition and spotlessly clean. We felt very lucky to have found such a great place to stay for nearby family celebrations. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic 3 night stay. Fully equipped and excellent location. Would, without hesitation, highly recommend. Second bedroom is a little small, but perfectly adequate. Two bathrooms is a bonus. We will definitely return. A Super Host for a reason. Thank you

This is a great place to stay, right on the marina walking distance from many good restaurants and a great place to just take a stroll. Graham was always there to answer questions before we arrived. Everything in the Condo is well marked, he has all of the user manuals for all of the appliances and such. Notes conveniently placed so that you understand what is going on and how things work. We stayed for a whole month and was well worth the money for the stay. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

We love this place. We’ve been before and will definitely be back. The cottage itself is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we needed. It is very handy, in walking distance from several cafes, pubs and restaurants. Rachel is very responsive and helpful. Lovely touches of bread, butter, milk and marmalade, on arrival.

Really lovely apartment. Tastefully decorated, felt fresh and welcoming. Pristine and comfortable with everything you could need. Good selection of crockery, cooking implements etc. and great to have a dishwasher. Nice view of the harbour and pretty close to tow with only a 10-15 min walk in. Loved Whitby, with great selection of places to eat, drink and shop. The Abbey is gorgeous and has wonderful views. Really recommend.

First class . Superbly presented apartment, clean and tidy with stunning views overlooking the marina. Thanks for making our stay a special one , we couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, 100% . We will hopefully be returning soon .

Det var en mysig lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över centrala Darlington. Det var kallt när vi anlände men det löste sig när vi kommunicerade med värden om hur man höjde temperaturen. Dock hade det en tendens att kännas lite kallt. Den extra bäddsoffan skulle kunnat förbättrats med en bäddmadrass och täcket där var för tunt när vi hade kallt i lägenheten. Sängen var mycket bekväm och täcket där var supertjockt. Vi tycker att läget är mycket bra och trivdes gott!
