Jose was very nice and flexible, even though I booked last minute. The apartment was clean and finally I found a place where there was a proper size bed for 2 adults.

Nos encantó la privacidad que ofrece el bungalow, con un perímetro completamente cerrado pero cerca de la piscina y el parqueo. La ubicación fue excelente ya que la playa está a unos 200 MTS, así como el Supermercado más cercano. Esto facilitó mucho nuestra estancia. El equipamiento de la unidad fue satisfactoria con todo lo necesario para cocinar.

The appartement is very close to the lovely Playa Pelada and just a 15 mins walk from Playa Nosara. It is a quite place and you have a litte shop and some restaurants super close by. Also the kitchen in the appartement is quite functional, if you preferre to cook yourself. And is hot : ) Federica is a nice host, commundation with her is fast and easy. Thank you for a nice stay, Federica.

Super logement très confortable peut être loin un peu mais pour nous c'est ce que nous voulions , extrêmement intime. Singe hurleur dans la cours.

We enjoyed staying at Cat’s and Yolanda’s home. Even though there is shared common areas, we felt very comfortable and private. Afternoon swims in the pool and lounging in the hot tub was relaxing. Quiet mornings in the upper deck were peaceful and you could hang out and enjoy the gorgeous valley view. We are fairly active so walks into town were very doable. Atenas has a good mix of tourists and locals and is a friendly town.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Karen’s Airbnb. We had booked for a room with a kitchenette, however on arrival we loved the room only view so asked to move. Karen was so good and helped us move to the other room and even gave us some kitchen equipment to use. The view is absolutely amazing with a clear uninterrupted view of the volcano. We were lucky abd had sunshine so sat on our balcony and watched the volcano as the sun went down. The bed is comfortable with a very big bathroom. Good parking and so much to do near by. The location is so quiet and great for bird watching, we saw toucans abd so many more birds. The rooms are a little tired but the view makes up for it. We would recommend this for a perfect view.

It was perfect for me - quiet, peaceful with great location walkable to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants.

Karla and Tricia's place is such a gem! They are lovely hosts who make you feel right at home. It is about a one minute walk to an absolutely STUNNING beach, and you can hear the waves from the studio. The town isn't crowded and you'll have the beach virtually to yourself. It is truly paradise. The pool is a great touch. The studio is lovely and well stocked with everything you need to be comfortable, and the hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay (they even pumped air into my tire when they noticed it was low!) I would absolutely go back and recommend you visit as well!

A home away from home! Andrea is such a lovely host. She has everything you need, lots of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. this was our second stay and we’ll be back again. The plunge pool and views of Arenal (volcano) are priceless. Away from the incessant noise of the town, the place is a cute house in a quiet neighborhood.

Thank you, Morley! You’re an excellent host and look forward to our next visit. From start to finish, you made us feel right at home. Our unit was very clean, had a patio, use of a very beautiful, peaceful pool and surrounding setting … and only a 5 minute walk down to Pelada beach 🏖️

We had the most wonderful stay. It was a private oasis and we cannot wait to go back. Jenny has been the best host we have met, so welcoming and friendly. We loved the dog and the cat. The pool was perfect for us, and the cold outside shower a huge bonus! Thanks Jenny, we are dreaming of the day we get to come back!

The location was a close and convenient walk to the beach, the room had a beautifully minimalist design, I appreciated the hot plate as it was enough to make breakfast each morning. I was tired and arrived late and had difficulty realizing that the door handle itself had the code to enter, but the host responded within a minute to let me know so I was able to get in. There was a cafe nearby that had good smoothies, as well as a sushi truck, and a mini-market was about 10 minute walk where we could buy enough to cook some simple meals. The courtyard was also very nice for taking a break from the beach - it had some shaded areas and the small pool had a nice fountain which made a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great location. Construction in the complex so took a while to figure out in the beginning but after that it was easy. Kitchen had lots of ants so unable to use it. Host offered service but without pest control it was not possible to remove food ants. Bathroom had little smell but in old house one should expect that. Due to space between sliding door, needs to keep inside light off else bugs were coming through the space at night. Otherwise nice place and great host.

This was our second visit to Casa Mercedes. We stayed a week this time. The place is quiet, modern and close to restaurants and the beautiful beach. The pool is fantastic. Love Reggie's place!

Beautiful stay in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Evelina was so accommodating and we had the best time greeting their awesome dogs every morning! Monkeys can be seen from the outside kitchen area and the location is perfect for getting to the bus stop/not far from the beach. I highly recommend and will be back asap!

Extremely responsive and knowledgeable hosts. We were greated right at the door and received a wealth of recommendations around the local attractions and wildlife. The gardens around the guest house were stunning! The hosts also included beach chairs and coolers for use at the beach which we found very helpful. My one critique; this is very much not a private stay. While still a highly rated experience, the blinds would not fully close and the outdoor pool/garden area was very open as it sits right behind the hosts home and had a camera. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend!

The room had a really clean look with no clutter. Everything you will have at your home she had for you. The pool was clean and cool. I felt safe because of the locked gates

I almost booked a hotel but I am so glad I didn’t and found this sanctuary instead. This place is a tranquil paradise! A perfect spot for a solo traveler to rest and relax. Andreas and Yuko were very warm and welcoming that I felt right at home. I loved the location. So convenient especially if you love beach walks. You can walk all the way to Playa Guiones, and then either walk back or if it gets late, take a tuktuk back. Andreas shared their trusted drivers information so I was able to schedule a ride ahead of time. I also rented an ATV from Andreas for a day which gave me a possibility to explore the area further in a more thrilling way. I wish I could have stayed longer. If I ever come back alone, I will definitely book this spot again, as this one is hard to beat!

Our host gave clear instructions on finding the place and had a clear line of communication throughout. The house is brand new and very well put together asthetically, kitchen is well set up, AC functioning very efficiently, and a great view of the jungle and local wildlife such as howler monkeys. There are a plethora of top notch eats close by, but what top the location off for me was its proximity to the world class fishing for Tuna, rooster fish, sailfish etc. Overall very happy.
